Hokulia Shave Ice

It did not disappoint! So good! The ice was fine and soft, the choice of flavors plentiful, the snow cap cream topping awesome, and the choice of three ice creams (macadamia, coconut, or vanilla) amazing. The only place I’ve been to as good as Purple Penguin in Henderson, NV.

This is the best shaved ice I’ve ever had outside of Maui! Super sweet. Doesn’t taste like your eating ice cubes. You have to try it with the sweetened condensed milk and ice cream. Yummy!!!

Super refreshing on a hot day, great flavor selection, and the portions are HUGE. Friendly service to boot.

I don’t usually gush about anything but Hokulia Shave Ice was the best shaved ice I have ever had. I’ve been around when it comes to shaved ice and I’ve had some really good ones, but Hokulia takes the cake. You can select as many flavors as you please and the size of the smallest serving was HUGE. Not only was the shaved ice itself good, but the service was outstanding. I went to two locations in Ada County, Idaho and was greeted by very attractive, smiling young ladies who seemed to enjoy their job. My only complaint is that they don’t have locations on every street corner of the world. If you’re in Ada County Idaho or a city that has Hokulia Shave Ice, try it. It’s the best thing you will ever do.
