Loved everything about it including the price. Erica made my hair grow fast which is an added +. Prices are just and she knows well her stuff. I’m a complicated customer as I am afraid of change but want it at the same time and they are patient with you :-)

Is this place still open? I just stopped by to pick up some product and it was locked up tight. According to the sign on the door, it should be open for business. I was very disappointed. If you’re closing, put a sign out that says so.

Sam is wonderful! I’ve been going to her for years and she has never disappointed me! She always knows exactly what you want! She is up to date on trends and her suggestions are always right. Great Job Sam!

Samantha is amazing! She is a stylist who not only does beautiful work with lowlights, highlights, cuts and colors but also extremely knowledgeable on product and hair care. With her expertise I truly feel my hair is in good hands and leave feeling glam with a plan… for healthy hair care. :)
The continuous compliments I have received on my hair color prompted me to share her amazing talent!

Called and made an appointment to this place they told me 95 for an ombré color I called around to a few other places but they were like 110 so I decided to go with Ikon. it was my first time here and I saw Vanessa who is amazing but when I went to pay the manager would not honor the 95 the girl told me over the phone. he said there is no way he could honor that price even though that is the only reason I went to that Salon was because I was told by one of their employees they would honor that price. I will never go here again because of bad management.

Just like anyone finding the right person to do an amazing job with your hair is a tough task. I found Sam through a dear friend and let me just say she does an AMAZING job. I love the fact that she will listen to what you want and work with you to achieve the best look. Would recommend her to anyone!

Horrible what happened. First off the girl was double booked and when I went in I asked can you do this. She said yes. So as I sat there for over a hour she finally got started. She was working on a another girl also who was crying and upset because her hair turned green and started to fall out. I just wanted to go home at this point it’s after 8pm. After she finally got back to me after the drama it was pushing 10pm. I was so tired of sitting in the chair. She colored my hair and it was ugly, the cut was also horrible. I’m not sure what they use for color but it’s horrible. There shampoo and conditions were horrible also. My hair was dry and flat and down right horrible. I have never left a salon feeling this way. DON’T GO HERE, it’s a joke. I left a lot out of this story I don’t have enough time. Bottom line amitures to say the least. Don’t waste your money. This is NOT the avida ikon it’s just ikon with all new staff and horrible!!!

Great ambiance very up to date and the staff is very attentive. The salon is very close to the freeway so it’s easy to find. Had a color and cut done by Sean, terrific color and styling. Highly recommend Ikon salon.

IKON salon is such a nice welcoming salon, they never turn away a guest; the staff is amazing very open parking is awesome ! It’s bigger and better ! Always smiles, best hair colorist around and there product smells and feels amazing … Very clean great vibe I will be returning every 6 weeks for my retouch prices are reasonable for a good cut & color … Great Salon

Love my stylist Erica! She did a great job on my cut and color highly recommend her to any and all even my daughters love her. Experienced and honest you can trust she will guide u in the right direction. The salon atmosphere is clam and clean. Great experience staff is wonderful!

I am so disappointed with there service. Today was my first visit at this salon and it was horrible. First of all I had an appointment with Marilyn at 9am. I waited 15 minutes for her and she never showed. The owner finally called her and she than called me to apologize and tell me that she forgot about my appointment!!! I’m sorry a professional hair stylist with a professional scheduling book should never FORGET about a client’s appointment. She clearly doesn’t value my time or I as a customer. Do NOT WAIST your time at this salon. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL!!! I WILL NEVER GO THERE AGAIN.

Have u ever gotten a color & cut so bad that it just makes you angry? Every day that goes by since my last visit to Ikon, I look in the mirror and just keep getting madder. The owner of this salon recently cancelled their Aveda franchise, moved to this new location on Scott Rd, and lost stylists (one of which was my old stylist whom I LOVED and was a fabulous colorist). Now I get this!!! And i paid $ 180 + tip for this? ARRGGHH! I’m posting a warning pic of the top of my head. And I’ve finally decided I’m going to call and get the owners name & ph# so I can show him/her in person why I am so mad.

My husband loved IKON when it was on Newport Road so he went out of his way to go to this location after work. It was a walk in and there were a bunch of ladies standing around so they all offered to help him.
The new location is really nice, very urban. I enjoyed reading the magazines on their nice plush leather couch and shaggy rug. However, my husband’s experience was different. He said that the ladies didn’t know how to use shears and one just said «I’ll do it» but seemed a little lost. He was very disappointed and of course he left there looking like they too much off the sides and not enough off the top. Next time, we’ll make an appointment with a stylist he loved.

I went to Ikon for the first time today, I’ve been looking for my new stylist and salon since I moved from IL to CA. Today I found them!
My stylist was Erica. I can’t say enough good things about her, to start she is incredibly knowledgable and educates you on everything from the process to color in salon to what to do once your home. She did an amazing job on my hair, it was red and orange with a terrible cut. I left with a beautiful new color and super cute cut. She really took the time to make sure I got exactly what I wanted. She is also incredibly friendly and easy to talk to, felt like I’d know her for years instead of a new stylist.
The salon is very welcoming, all the staff was very kind and friendly. I’ve been to salons that don’t make you feel welcome, this is not the case at Ikon. I forgot it was my first time there because they were all so nice. It’s a beautiful salon, very sleek and clean.
I highly recommend this salon, you won’t be disappointed.

i made a hair appt with a hairstylist marilyn she did a beautiful job this is my second time @ this salon great warm customer service, the salon itself very plush and clean and super spacious i had the chance of meeting the owner and he was very nice ! i will be back again and i dont have a problem getting in or having to wait a long time
