This is a perfect location for a bar. It is rooftop with a gorgeous view of the Mississippi. We came for appetizers and drinks while visiting and were able to watch the sunset. The drinks were really good, as were the appetizers. Service was a bit slow but it seemed like they only had one waitress working the restaurant(it’s somewhat small). Definitely recommend coming here for a cocktail when the sun is going down — it’s gorgeous!

We’re not in Kansas anymore… Building a reputation to excite the senses will accurately describe Twilight Sky Terrace. It’s just so pretty, so darn pretty. This place is fantastic and I’m in awe every time I visit. The view takes my breath away and I love getting lost just looking at the city. Positively, the guide to finding happiness would lead you here. And if you need more convincing, the spirits got your back, front, side, and every other angle! Social Rules: Check the website for the latest details. There’s a cover on certain nights. Attire? Make an impression and if you have to question your choice, try again. We reside in Memphis. The weather comes with the territory. Dress accordingly. Last, but certainly not least, enjoy!

Slow service, inattentive waitress, and dirty seats pretty much sums up my experience here. My group sat down first and anther group comes in 10 minutes later and the waitress takes their order first. Clearly she needs to get her eyes check or it may help if she took off her sunglasses which was hanging off her face. Not to mention I saw that other couples/groups were waiting for their drinks and it wasn’t even busy. After 20 minutes of waiting, my group decided to walk out. Thank you Amy, skinny chick with blonde hair; for the crappy service. keep doing what you do girl… you will get great tips!

It’s really unfortunate because: 1) the place is so trendy and well-designed 2) the view is awesome 3) the DJ was good 4) the mojito was incredible… But they charged us $ 10 each to enter at 11:59 pm, and then LITERALLY two minutes later the DJ packed up and left, and we were told the place would close in an hour… Also no one was there on a Friday night – as a business, it was an utter failure of a perfect opportunity to have a real slam dunk… They have everything they need: just soundproof the floor so you can stay open till 2(or at least keep the DJ on till close), get rid of that ridiculous cover that prevents people from coming… all you have to do is require patrons to order(so they don’t just come free for the ambiance)… and you will have a full terrace of people, waiting in line to come in(at which point you can charge cover to skip the line or something)… Anyways, I’ll give this place another shot sometime but I really hope they get it together! It’s important! :)

We ate downstairs at Eighty3 and were told we could go upstairs to the twilight rooftop bar if we showed our receipt for dinner. We really didn’t know about the rooftop bar but love that type thing so went to check it out. I have to say it was a gorgeous view of the sunset over the river. They have a great selection of unique cocktails to try. The only complaint I’d have is the service was a little slow, although with the crowd that was there I’m sure the waitress was doing the best she could. Maybe more wait staff? The DJ was great, also, played a great assortment of music.

We had a group of 20 ladies and we may have overwhelmed the servers. The view — amazing.

I don’t know what this place is like on the weekends, but I went here with my husband on a Monday night and it was fabulous. Not overly crowded, comfortable seating, BEAUTIFUL sunset overlooking the river. Service was very kind as well. Check this place out on a random week night and you won’t be disappointed.

I was not impressed. We were staying at the Madison hotel and decided to check out the terrace. The photos made it look more impressive that it really was. The view was nice but it was nothing special.

Great view on the Mississippi river! We were there on a Monday afternoon so not much animation but I’m sure he atmosphere is great for drinks at sundown

Arguably, the best riverfront view from a restaurant. That’s why it gets three stars. Service is a little slow. The food is alright. Great for a glass of wine and good times with friends. $ 10 cover, unless you’re staying at Madison Hotel. #Yelp901

We attempted to go here on a Saturday night… It was a busy Memphis in May weekend and they were charging a $ 10 cover. The kicker was that it wAs free for hotel guests.(Wouldn’t you want to incentivize local folks to hang???) we asked the manager and he said it was to cover the DJ. We remarked that this was Memphis, not NYC … And that the cover seemed hefty. I mentioned I was an active Unilocaler and he was not concerned. So there Mr. Manager… Great attitude and all the best. Interestingly it was totally empty … Guess no one else wanted to pay!

Edit: Since I wrote my first review they started charging a cover. I understand the need for this, really I do, but who wants to pay $ 10 on top of drinks? Not me. At the very least put that $ 10 towards a drink purchase. Problem solved. Also, can someone in Memphis PLEASE install a pool with a bar? PLEASE!!! I will come to you all the time. xoxoxox

The view is absolutely stunning and a must-see in Memphis! So that being said… I just stopped in for a drink and it’s not exactly cheap, but worth it. When I was here it was FREEZING out due to it being extremely windy. But the space is very modern and club like, and the hotel is very unique as well. Also, they weren’t «officially» open, so they only offered general mixed drinks, wine, and beer. No specialty cocktails or food. Despite it being so cold out, we toughened up and stayed to snap some pictures. It was well worth it for the view! Grab some company, a beverage, and enjoy the lovely sight.

Would’ve been nice if the website said they don’t officially open for another 4 wks-and that there’s a private party starting at 6:15! Totally irritating. Then the bartender tells me the white wine is $ 9, then pours it and tells me $ 13. No tip for you, brotha. Besides that, it’s a great location. Save yourself a couple of bucks and park in the garage around the corner, just down the alley, $ 6 instead of $ 10. Hey! That’s the $ 4 extra I just got charged for the wine!

After a straight 5 – 7 weekends, I have finally stopped coming here. The main reason being the $ 10 cover that they started charging. Now I don’t consider $ 10 much… but it’s a bar, not a dance club. Plenty of venues in the area don’t charge until later in the evening when the place is already packed. The view is still nice, and thats about all thats worth coming. The drink pours aren’t as great, watered down. Food coming from Eighty3 on the bottom floor takes forever to come to the roof. If they were to start charging a cover, then they should at least hire on another server to help, as it was sometimes impossible to wave someone down for another drink. My advice, take your party elsewhere on the weekends, come up to the roof in the day time when they don’t charge a cover!

Actually this place was fun. The brie apetizer was good, and the wine was good. The sunset view of the Mississipi & Memphis were great. So — –why only two-. First, they let some guy smoke a big, smelly, chocking cigar right. next to us. Second, the music they were playing was bad, and so loud you could hardly talk to each other. The view was fun and worth it. If you do go up there ask to sit away from the guy with the cigar and ask for some Elvis music at a lower volume.

I was in absolute awe over the view… It was absolutely gorgeous. For the first 10 minutes Joelle P. and I were there I couldn’t stop staring… You could even see the dirt trailing behind trucks in the fields of Arkansas… Absolutely amazing… Then it hit me, I am dripping sweat. You know how you feel when you sit in a sauna? Yep, same exact feeling, but I was in a dress with my long hair down… disgusting. We kept trying to creep back following the shade, but it eventually ran out. By the time the shade vanished, we received our first bottle of champagne, which we ordered from the bar 20 minutes earlier… and we were the ONLY people there besides another couple who had already been served. We ordered food and all of it was delicious! It took a while to get… along with our second order of drinks. If they could amp up the attentiveness this place would get five stars… It’s not much fun when you’re melting away without any drinks in hand! I will definitely be going back in the cooler weather or later at night. I could stand up there for hours and look at the water. It’s a great place to stop in and get a drink… Would be a great place to meet for a first date!

Oh boy am I conflicted on this review… on the one hand, it has the best view of downtown Memphis… on the other, there are a few major things they need to work on. For starters, it is HOT!!! When I suggested drinks with my intern at 4:00 there, I assumed there would be shade and a cool place to sit. But nope, the way it is set up, the closer to sunset it gets, the less shade you have, which leaves you sweltering in the heat and my legs were sticking to the leather couches… and sweat soaked through my skirt… yuck. This leaves more of a pool feel than a lounge feel. I kept wondering where the water was because I wanted to dive in. They should at least have fans blowing and some sort of protection from the direct sunlight because I was really ticked off that I soaking in designer clothing. Then there were the waitresses, who were very nice… but a little inattentive. It took 20 minutes for her to bring us our bottle of our $ 32 bottle of prosecco(not bad pricing, eh?) and I had to go up to the counter a few times to get her attention when we wanted to order something else. And the way the lounge is set up is a bit confusing because you don’t know if you should order at the bar or wait for her to come to the table… again more like a pool… but without the pool… Now to the good: the fooooooood!!! My heavens was the food good. The sloppy joes($ 6 for 2) were out of this world good and really spicy… just like I like it. The cheve apple flat bread($ 12) was my interns fav and the brie($ 14)…well, who doesn’t like brie? This place is gorgeous and really could be the coolest place in town… by cooling it off. We sprinted out of there for air conditioning as soon as our food was finished because it was just too much. I would have loved to enjoy the scenery, but the oppressive heat and lack of shade made us bolt. I’ll try it again at night, maybe that is when it shines.
