Rickis cookies… you are so deserving of my 200th review! Aside from bragging lol this place is amazing! If you have read my reviews you know I love sweets. So I was introduced to Ricki’s as apart of a Unilocal event and I am so happy. This lady has mastered the art of a chocolate chip cookie. Wow they really are so good. Apart from her famous chocolate chipstick, she makes fresh bread, other cookies, and pastries from cinnamon buns to cakes and brownies. Rickis is a family owned business and you sure can tell they love their products. They even sell their products across America and people pay the $ 15 for shipping. It just proves that they have a good product. Plus customer service is phenomenal. They are the most genuine and kindest people I have met so far and love their craft. I tried so many of their goodies at the event and let me tell you they were all great. I cannot wait to go on a Wednesday and try their pizza. However, be advised that you have to call for a time slot in order to order their pizza. Once you try Ricki’s you will become a fan and get addicted. Just saying the truth so go try them out!

Oh emmmmm geeee! You need to stop whatever you are doing RIGHTNOW and head on over to Ricki’s Cookie Corner. They have been around forever(founded in 1980 out of Ricki’s Kitchen), but I’ve only recently discovered this local gem and I’m absolutely kicking myself. They have sold almost 9 million of their famous Chipstick cookies! Which makes sense, because they ship all over the country! This is a woman owned, multi-generational family business, which makes my heart sing because I’m allllll about supporting our local mom and pop shops! While the bakery was founded making cookies and challah bread, they now make brownies, cakes, pies, cinamon rolls, and sooooo much more! Oh! And all of their products are made non-dairy, which is great for kosher-keeping or anyone with lactose dietary restrictions.

They are a little hidden in the Eastgate Shopping Center. You can’t see them off poplar, but they are between the two buildings.(Wish I remembered what two stores, I will update it soon!) The store itself isn’t too big. They do all the baking there so that takes up most the space! This is a family owned and operated business and that really speaks volumes about the product as a whole. Each member of the family that works here is so kind and personable. They really take a lot of pride in what they do, and it shows in every aspect of this place! As for the cookies. You guys. Best chocolate chip cookies EVER. They are cooked to absolute perfection. They are just the right amount of gooey in the middle! Seriously, I have never had a cookie that nailed that aspect of a cookie every single time. Every. Single. Time. She also makes some cookies without the chocolate chips. It tastes just like the batter. Sugary and wonderful! Her bread is also divine. DIVINE. I honestly don’t know how she stays so stinking little! She sells her bread to a few Krogers around town, but hopefully more will start bringing her in! Long story short. Go there. You will not be disappointed! In fact, you will probably get hooked like I did :)!

I was first introduced to Ricki’s in 2003. A vendor brought cookies to our office for Christmas. Even before I moved back to Memphsi whenever I was I town I would stop by. I’m not big on sweets and cookies but these chocolate Chipsticks are amazing! I prefer them cold(she usually only has frozen ones late in the day). The owner is very friendly.

Wow, I am new to Memphis and I drover by this bakery on my way to Kroger and did not think much of it at the time other than the location seemed sub-optimal as its hard to see from the street. Then I saw the products displayed at Kroger. I thought what could be so good about these products that Kroger would display them; are the products actually good or do locals blindly support them? The next thing that crossed my mind was that I should at least try those chipsticks as they are featured in the logo. They seemed sort of expensive at the time compared to Kroger cookies but I took the gamble. I was not disappointed, those chip sticks are amazing! The entire box is gone after one day. I’m not the best at describing food, but it’s that delicious soft & chewy cookie dough tasting chocolate chip mixed with vanilla and a variety of nuts. They were worth every penny we spent. I look forward to trying some of the other products soon.

This is my new go to spot for last minute gift giving. I learned quickly that I should place my order in advance. However, they were accommodating on my first visit(since I didn’t call ahead) and quickly prepared a tin for me take. The cookies are fresh, chewy and yummy. Their«store» is more of a bake shop. It is nothing fancy but gets the job done for picking up orders. It is a bit hard to locate as it is tucked in the side of the shopping plaza.

I realize that everyone loves this place, but I wasn’t thrilled. But maybe you will be. People love cookies in many different forms. I like them baked, well baked, to the point of being crunchy. This is the opposite of that. If you love cookie dough and wish that all cookies were as close to that chewy, battery, gooey feel as possible, than this is a 5 star stop for you. To me, it was great recipes, under crunchy. To be fair the breads are amazing and I’d give them 5 stars if I hadn’t wanted a cookie.

I tried the cookies they sell at Kroger and was absolutely in love! They are delicious. I bought every kind they sold at Kroger and finally decided to visit the store. I asked if they had a whole box of a certain kind of cookie and the young woman working the counter was pretty rude to me. She told me if I wanted a certain kind of cookie I should have called the day before. When I told her I wasn’t planning on buying cookies the day before, she said something like«well, you should have planned ahead.» I’ll probably stick with buying their cookies at Kroger from here on out.

I love this place! Their cookies are AMAZING. The chocolate chip cookies are fantastic. They also had chocolate chip cookies without chocolate(it sounds weird, I know) for a limited time a while ago and they were so awesome. When I make chocolate chip cookies from scratch, I usually go easy on the chocolate chips, so they were great. Picture kinda like a sugar cookie with brown sugar in it instead of just white sugar. Oh, and the challah bread is fantastic, of course. I love the regular challah bread. If you’ve never tried challah bread, you have to. It’s buttery and slightly sweet. If you have and you want something a little different, get the cinnamon challah bread. I’m a french toast junkie, and for me that is the perfect bread to use for it. I like a little bread with my cinnamon when it comes to french toast, so that bread plus a cinnamon custard is a match made in heaven. The perfect french toast. But it’s also perfect just by itself. They also have challah rolls, which are great for sandwiches or with meals. They have two sizes, so you have that choice to use either way I mentioned. I’ve also tried their chocolate marshmallow brownie which is great. It’s incredibly rich(although I expected it to be — it’s a brownie with marshmallow fluff and chocolate frosting), so be forewarned that you’ll probably want a huge glass of milk with it. I’m sure the rest of the brownies are the same as well. The one thing I cannot stress enough is the importance of pre-ordering the baked goods online beforehand. If you just show up at the shop, especially if it’s around a holiday, prepare to be disappointed. They sell out of stuff quickly, so you might go only to find out they are sold out of everything(seriously, everything). The service at the store is great, too. Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. They are always happy to describe menu items and offer suggestions.

THE. BEST.COOKIES. EVER. I just love Ricki’s Cookies! Last week was the first time I have ever been in her shop. I have always just had people give me the cookies as a thank you or a little happy. Her shop is so cute and quaint. With the location that it is in you would not know it was there unless you stumbled upon it or someone told you where it is. I was hosting a family gathering at my house and needed a yummy quick dessert so naturally I thought about Ricki’s Cookies. They were a hit! Everyone kept saying«wow these are delicious» and«where did you buy these? they are soooo yummy» and of course I told them! She also makes tasty breads and other yummies! If you have not gone… you need to! Heard it from me first!

My wife and I have been coming here for years. We loved the Challah and I loved the cookies. We just found out(read the labels), however, that the challah contains polysorbate 80 and Mono and diglycerides. Also, the cookies have corn syrup and mono and diglycerides as well. This may not have been the case when we first started going there, but apparently it is now. That is not what you expect at a local bakery, and definitely not what one should expect paying high prices. There definitely are more acceptable substitutes for butter than crap/fake food ingredients. So, today I’m making challah and cookies from scratch. Too bad and a shame. By the way, these fake food ingredients are the type that you find in Twinkies and other hostess baked goods.

Your life is not complete until you try French toast made with the cinnamon raisin braided challah bread! Everything else Ricky sells is also awesome.

Their challah bread toasted… wow.(two loaves between 4 people is gone over just the weekend, and we were cutting back on carbs as well as eating out most of the time) My mil used the butter crust challah to make grilled cheese’s and it was some of the best I’ve had. I’m probably not going to buy bread from anywhere else from now on. Again cookies are only okay, I got to try an oatmeal white chocolate and some regular sugar cookies(there was a deal two ½ lb cookies for $ 5). They aren’t the wowing factor like the bread. Ricki’s also has cakes and brownies and a few other baked goods which I will probably try when I place my next weekly bread order.

OMG! Why have I not heard about these sooner? I was introduced to these about a month ago. They are kosher cookies which apparently are sold world wide and the store is here in Memphis. I might just eat these over ice cream, which is a big deal. They also sell them at the Kroger on Kirby and Poplar. If you like soft, gooey cookies, you MUST try Ricki’s!

Ricki’s Cookie Corner is seriously a hidden gem in East Memphis in the Eastgate Shopping Center on Park and Mt Moriah. They keep really strange hours. so call before you go or order online. This is not really an eat-in establishment. I’ve been meaning to try their Challah bread but I have tasted an assortment of their cookies. Their Original Chipsticks are phenomenal – they are soft and chewy just the way I like my cookies AND on top of that it’s completely kosher. I’ve been told that Tuesdays and Thursdays are prime time to snag some Challah bread since those are their normal baking days.

Ricki’s is a little bakery hidden in the Eastgate Shopping Center. If it wasn’t for the fact my vet is next door, I would’ve never known it was there. I walked in one day after stopping by the vet’s office, and the smell was absolutely fantabulous! I had a hard time choosing what to walk out with, but went for something that looked safe — Ricki’s Chipsticks(no nuts, since my daughter has an allergy), which are simply chocolate chip cookes in a somewhat of a stick form. The pack I bought had both regular chocolate chip, and chocolate chocolate chip(with white chocolate chip pieces) One bite… HEAVEN. They simply melt in your mouth! I have decided I must go back one day and try her other goodies. And, for the Jewish community, everything is Kosher! Ricki’s cookies… best little hidden treasure in East Memphis!
