Like to live like a mogul? Or just enjoy an occasional cigar with the boys? Or Madonna… Well if you like to live like ‘The Last Tycoon’ you need to check out Richard Alley’s Tobacco Bowl.
Located in a beautiful historic building, the Tobacco Bowl has seen a lot of famous figures come through it doors.
No less literary peronages than William Faulkner & Shelby Foote purchased their pipe tobacco here. Other famous customers: Elvis’ father Vernon, film producer Michael Houseman (The Paper Chase) and director Milos Forman (The People v. Larry Flynt) and actors Fred Thompson (now Presidential hopeful), & Richard Roundtree (Shaft) have all been customers.
Along with a great selection of cigars, pipe tobacco & pipes, they have lighters, cases and nifty cigar boxes.
Even if you don’t indulge in the smokey pleasures of tobacco, they now offer coffee and snacks.
