Maury is an amazing massage therapist and the space is quiet and relaxing. Maury does a great job of getting feedback so she can better tailor the massage to what you need. I cannot recommend her enough. She has saved my back!

Wow — Maury is a massage maestro! The combination of Ashiatsu barefoot massage with liberal amounts of Thai tossed in for good measure is remarkable. I think of her ministrations as preventive maintenance, but she is equally adept at putting me back together again when I get stoved up from too much yoga. Bravo Miss Ballenger!

I have been a regular client of Maury’s for almost a year now. Her massage is therapeutic and relaxing. I spend a lot of time doing photoshop or moving my photography equipment to different locations. I am always giving Maury a new challenge. Whether its tight shoulders or a strained muscle, Maury always makes me feel better. I continue to recommend Maury Ballenger Bodywork to my friends and colleagues because I am always looking forward to my next appointment with Maury. Its a treat. She has a great place in downtown Memphis. Its peaceful, relaxing and healing. You should try it!

I have been getting massages from Maury, on nearly a weekly basis, for a over a year now. With that experience in mind, I know that her style of massage (combination of Ashiatsu and Thai, with trigger point in the mix) has me practically pain free. I sit at a microscope all during the weekday (my profession) and do CrossFit (hobby) four or five times a week. Thus, I always have some bothered/​sore muscle group. Know this: Maury will fix it.
Great location downtown. Wonderful, comfortable & airy massage space. Parking is easy to find.
Call Maury and find a solution for sore muscles or that nagging knot.
