Stopped by E’s on a Saturday night which appeared to be lightly packed, perfect for me since I was looking to just eat and run. I ordered one of their breakfast combos(forgot the name) which included two eggs, sausage, and grits. My total came out to maybe 8 bucks plus tip. Sausage was juicy, eggs were cooked how I wanted(over easy) and the grits werent runny or dry. E’s is a very no-frills breakfast spot, perfect to take some friends or a date to chat and enjoy some good breakfast. I wish Florida had more diners like this!

Nice little breakfast spot. Food cooked to order just steps from the table or counter. It was good and hot although the cheap shredded cheese they put in eggs & hashbrowns didn’t melt well. The staff was friendly and attentive. Looks like a spot where all the regulars go for a quick bite & conversation… I loved it!

Madolyn R was our waitress and she was wonderful and gave a good recommendation. The breakfast we had was really good too. The food came out fast and hot. The breakfast sandwich was really good and she had it grilled up on the grill And the waffle was fluffy and real buttery

Best breakfast I’ve had in a minute! And I’ve waitressed at Denny’s and IHOP! Jane is the nicest waitress! And I totally recommend the Breakfast Bowl! It’s a $ 5 bowl that hits the right spot. The gravy is also made fresh(not out of a package) and so that’s an added plus. :)

We found this place by accident because, as it turns out, everything on this side of Memphis seems to shut down at 9:00 on a Friday. Needless to the food was pretty good and super inexpensive. I would totally recommend this place to anyone with a late night(9pm LOL!) hunger.

Dirty, dirty, dirty. I got my breakfast, and it was missing the milk I ordered. The floor was super dirty. The portions were small. The onions in the hashbrowns were raw. I ordered the eggs medium and got them well. The biscuits were cold. I won’t be back. I hope this store goes the way of CK’s.

If I lived closer to this place then I’d go here more. The food is super tasty and greasy… if you like that sort of thing. ;) The service was good… better than I’d expect from this type of place. Way better than I ever got at CK’s. So if you’re looking for a place late at night to get food that’ll soak up your booze then check it out.

Pretty solid food. Great service. I miss the old CKs name, but it is still good. WAY better after a night out.

What can be said about a place that brags that breakfast served 24⁄7. Eggs cooked correctly? Yes. Hash browns made crispy and hot? Yes. Toast crisp not soggy? Yes. For a small place it is a very nice joint to visit. Nice waitress very attentive but hovering around too much.

The food is below average and the price is a little high. Service is ok. There big crowds are the weekends for the party folks. It had been a while since I have been here. Everyone is new.

E’s is one of my favorite breakfast locations. Whether it’s morning, noon, night, or even the wee hours of the morning to sober up before heading home after a night on the town. My usual is the E’s Big Breakfast. It’s a hearty meal of 3 eggs fried or scrambled, choice of bacon or sausage, hash browns cooked any way you like them, then your choice of biscuit, toast or waffle. E’s is your true diner experience. It doesn’t pretend to be a fancy brunch joint. But the jukebox plays, the people are nice, and the food is good. I can eat in solitude while reading my paper or grab a late night hangover cure with friends.

It looks like it could be a fun little breakfast place, but our visit was not so much. The breakfast menu is very basic; eggs, toast, bacon or sausage, etc. there does not appear to be any kind of specialty particular to this diner. The service staff was exceptionally friendly and the place is very clean. The biggest detractor for us was the older women working the grill. Very harsh, yelling at «the girls» that there was food to pick up. When you see how small this place is, you’ll understand how funny that was… it’s not like they couldn’t all see what was ready and when, or that the grill cook didn’t know they were busy! She was the only one who seemed to want to be somewhere else. Her attitude created an uncomfortable customer environment for sure. The food was ok… but it’s hard to screw up scrambled eggs or toast. Sausage was cooked until dry. What was bad were the hash browns. Grated potatoes, likely bought that way, tossed on the grill and lightly browned. No seasoning, no onions; zero flavor. If you’re just looking for quick and no frills, the price is right here. Service is stellar. Food is edible. Coffee was very good.

Surprisingly good! Clean, friendly, quick & convenient. Not fancy, but exactly the kind of breakfast place I was looking for! Good food at decent prices. And open 24⁄7 will come in handy at some point I’m sure!

2 stars for friendly service, cute interior I just got home and tried some of my togo which was a chicken and waffles and sausage gravy. Sausage gravy was reheated biscuits which don’t taste bad but… I’ve had canned biscuits that were better, gravy — generic no wowing factor. The waffle horrid… it was supposed to be fresh off the iron… why is it all soggy and chewy? Chicken, frozen strips, decent flavor around the best part for the food. And finally hashbrowns… theres pepper… I’m staring at it trying to figure what to say… it’s not the worse hashbrown I’ve had… it’s around a quarter way between worse and meh… food wasn’t great but they do have a friendly staff… still not a bad pickmeup… I’m not willing to try it during the daytime though

We were bummed when the CK’s near our house closed. But last night(well, this morning actually) we tried E’s and I love what they’ve done with the place! The interior is bright and clean yet still maintains that comfy diner vibe. We came in a little after the drunken 3 a.m. crowd(considering I had to clean up after said crowd at the bar I work at) so we had the place to ourselves. Our server was very friendly and the cook was hilarious. With my first sip of coffee I could already tell they’ve stepped up the product quality. My husband ordered a steakburger and hash browns with cheese and I had a country omelet with hash browns and a side of bacon. We were both really impressed with our meals — and before you say anything, yes I WAS sober! My omelet was loaded with fresh toppings, and the hash browns were crispy, unlike the circular gelatinous mess I’d gotten used to. The burger was gigantic. Our bill was a little higher than it would’ve been at CK’s, but we were happy to pay a little more for food that was way, way better.
