Having grown up a huge fan of pizza, I was excited to try this place. We went on a Wednesday night in the summer and the atmosphere was good. This particular location is the former 2-way Inn bar(a local CBU favorite). It has regular seating and an upstairs patio with huge misting fans to keep you cool. The waitress, Christina, was very nice and explained some of the popular pies. She also(thankfully) told us about this vodka cream sauce that you can get with the Garlic Knots(one of the appetizers). The Garlic Knots were AMAZING! They had great flavor which was only enhanced by the vodka cream sauce. Wow it was so yummy. I got the pizza with the poblano cream sauce, grilled chicken, tomatoes, and spinach. It was pretty good but not great. The crust was not as crispy as I would have liked but the pizza had a good flavor. When I go back I will try another specialty pie.

The margarita pizza is awesome. They also delivered really quickly and were really easy to order from on the phone. Really glad I tried this place.

My new fav pizza spot. Been here several times already and it has been great. My favorite pizzas are the other side and willie cheech and bob. The harissa sandwich is also amazing. I treat myself to their pizza pretty much every weekend it feels like. This location has patio seating which is amazing. The wait can be a while at peak hours. Service is great. All the servers are friendly and courteous. The space is clean and the ambiance is great! Highly recommend to pizza lovers.

By far best pizza in the bluff city. I used to live on the east coast and I feel like I’m right in Boston eating this pizza.

The pizza menu is strange… but good strange. This ia my fourth or fifth visit but my first review i believe. The wait staff is super nice and the food is consistently good. My preference is classic New York style pizza so I wanted to give the place 4 stars… but I just couldn’t bring myself to do it. So 5 stars it is… keep up the good work and great attitudes!

Great pizza place in Memphis. Got the white pizza and garlic knots to share. White pizza had a garlic olive oil, ricotta, Parmesan and fontina cheeses bubblying hot from the oven, aromatic scent of roasted garlic and charred motz cheese. Crust was medium, thin, almost NYC style. Crunchy on the bottom, crusty but foldable and a slight chewy texture… yummy. Great selections of beers on tap, our server was knowledgeable of the local brews, that’s a plus, friendly wait staff, another plus, rooftop dining, also too cool. Downtown location, so street parking can be challenging

Since the downtown Memphis location always draws a crowd, we gave their satellite Midtown pizzeria a try. Glad we did! Pizza is a matter of great debate. I am pleased that Aldo’s «NY Style» is very good(though could not be mistaken as a completely authentic NY pizza it is recommended). This place is slick, nested between an Urban Outfitters and the fantastic Memphis Made Brewery it fits right into the growing hipster landscape(looks a bit like the Wired magazine Smart Home exhibit). Tall tables with integrated paper towel dispenser/pizza stand; clever! Visited at just the right moment on a Friday evening as a line formed after we were seated.(If you take the first table at the bar entrance during winter months, be prepared to get very cold! You will also need to ignore the leering crowd waiting to be seated). Our server was helpful and adorable. I was hoping Memphis Made ran a beer line directly from their location next door! Sadly only one MM beer was available on tap here. Still a decent selection on tap and a good drink menu. Opened with the meatball appetizer, it did not disappoint. The 18″ build your own pizza with garlic and onion was a hit and should be enjoyed with only the closest of friends, they load it up. Crust was delightfully thin, sauce flavorful. Perfect size for our party of 4. This place gets crowded, a great backup option(if here on the weekend) that provides the best of both worlds, go next door to Memphis Made and order a pizza from Aldo’s!

A great pizza place for this out-of-towner. We came across after our visit to Graceland. The restaurant was slow when we entered and after being greeted, sat in the bar area. Our waitress was nice and gave suggestions and descriptions of local beers on tap. We ordered the garlic knots and a 12 inch build your own pizza with pepperoni, ham and extra mozzarella. The drinks, appetizer and pizza came out promptly and all were fantastic. The price was reasonable and we left happy. By the time we left the place was busy and the free parking now full.

Got the Willie Cheech & Bob pizza and it was delicious! Very flavorful with just enough of a spicy kick. I am a huge fan of the mango chutney on this pizza. Love the rooftop patio. It was pleasant mid-70’s weather so just perfect. Avoid the rooftop when the mist is in use! The last time I came, it was much hotter weather(high 90’s) so they had mist spraying all over the place… and our pizza was soaked :(

So I tried this place today with a friend and unfortunately I was not impressed! Let’s start with the positive. They have outside parking and outside seating which is great. Along with good customer service. Our waitress was great. She was polite and courteous and timely refilled our drinks. Also I really liked my Greek salad. There dressing was pretty good. Now for the negative. The pizza wasn’t great. I love a good slice of pizza and that is not what I got. I ordered a slice of pepperoni and it tasted okay. Nothing special about it, plus they were really cheap with the pepperoni. I love pepperoni and they was like only 5 pieces on it. All in all, the service and salad was good, but I’ve had better pizza.

Really love this location! Great patio — great service — great food! Stopped in for a quick lunch; hubby and I split a Greek salad to start. He went with the Memphis, I had a slice of pepperoni, one kiddo did the vodka and one a plain cheese. Smiles all around. Loved the attention they paid to the kids as well and they loved playing with their personal dough balls xD

Went to Aldo’s for lunch today with an associate. Decided to not eat on the roof as a utility truck was working right next door to the building and it was really loud. So, we ate in. Started with the meatball appetizer. It was good — I have to say not as good as the version served at Frank Grisanti’s, but good. Salads were excellent & my bleu cheese dressing was great. I had a slice of pepperoni &1 sausage. My associate had a supreme type slice. We both liked the pizza. The sauce did taste a little twangy to us both, but overall, it was a very good experience. Can’t wait to go back when I can have an adult beverage while sampling more items on the roof.

im so happy this place is finally open! I love aldo’s pizza, and i stopped frequenting the downtown location literally only because it was a nightmare to finding parking down town. HOWEVER, 1 perk to the downtown location vs. this location is that you can bring your dog to the downtown location. i haven’t asked about the dog policy in this one though, so i could be wrong! Pizza-awesome. the Side salad-awesome! It comes with PLENTIFUL of leaves(something most places dont do if you order a side salad) and gives you tons of onions! They have sammiches and other stuff on the menu, so be sure to try those out too! Service-great, friendly, efficient. We came on opening week and they were slammed but they still got us in and out with the food on the table as fast as they could! Parking-awesome. the parking lot itself is kind of tiny, but since its midtown you can park on the side streets. The rooftop patio looks AWESOME. we unfortunately weren’t seated up there, but i will request it for next time! Definitely take advantage of the rooftop patio during these hot summer nights!(But dont forget to bring OFF). There are TVs there so you can watch the grizz games and other sports related things!

I am all about this new location in midtown because I rarely go downtown(parking is a nightmare) and I needed some good pizza in my life. And that’s not all this new place has to offer… Let’s see… rooftop patio? Check! Delicious pizza? Check! Awesome location? Check! Full bar(eventually…in a week or so)? Check! Unique building? Check! Easy parking? Check! My new addiction? Check!
