Been multiple times, including brunch. The butternut squash ravioli is amazing and so is the eggplant parm, oh and did I mention their crab cakes are the best around. Service is good and will def be back!

used to love bobby c’s but not anymore, food went down hill my salad was just lettuce and one tomato. Food was kind of bland. But what really did it was the service. our waitress was really unprofessional made my whole group feel uncomfortable. From the second we sat down she was non stop talking, we weren’t able to look at our menus, this lady is telling her life story really loud and obnoxious other people were looking at her. She at one point was sitting at our table, my group agreed we won’t be back.

Good food; reasonable prices. The acapella group on Wednesday was terrific! !! The menu is Italian, but more than the basic pasta.

I’ve been meaning to review this place for a while. Went with friends and frankly was embarrassed that I brought them there. Our waitress was unprofessional and untrained. After her recommendation got the«grilled» prime rib which she assured me could still be rare. Guess what? It came out ¾″ thick and like a piece of shoe leather. Naturally, I sent it back for a not grilled one which took forever to arrive. Real prime rib is cut off a piece that has been cooked ahead of time. Everyone else was done20+ min when it arrived. Did I mention it was over $ 20 too? The rest of the dinners were marginal and service sucks. Drive elsewhere if you want a real meal. BTW, this was the third visit in all fairness, previous two were not good also.

So, I really wanted to love this place; I don’t. It’s ok, but that’s it. Pros: The bread they bring at the beginning of the meal with that olive oil concoction is to die for. Maybe one of the best restaurant items I have ever eaten. Wait staff was incredibly friendly from hostess to waitress and manager. Our waitress, Natalie I believe, was super nice. Came off a little fake at times, but I think that was more my perception than her actually being fake. Nice ambiance. Not too hot or too cold inside, not too noisy. Very cozy. Con: We only got one piece of bread per person. Asked for more. Was again only brought one piece of bread per person. Super bummer! Didn’t ask again as I didn’t want to be carb shamed! Timing was very off. Had to wait for the check, refills, etc. Not sure how to explain, but it was obvious there was some sort of timing issue. All of the food we had was frozen. It was so sad! I got the stuffed shells off of the special menu and my plate was covered in water. Further, a couple of the shells were not covered in sauce giving the appetizing appearance of super hard white noodle outside. Just unappetizing. The calamari, while super crisp, was nothing special. No flavor whatsoever on the calamari, but it did pair nicely with the red sauce it came with. We were not notified that they had summer sangria. It was written on a board by the bar. We noticed only after we had decided to not get drinks and were already too far in to go back. Would have been nice to know at the beginning of our meal. Lastly, a couple of the ladies were less than professional while we were there. We were seated in a booth right next to the POS system so they congregated near there, naturally. Unfortunately, they were disparaging both about fellow diners and about the kitchen. Yes, we can hear you. No, it’s not a good look! Overall, we live in the complex and I can guarantee we will be back both for that amazing bread but to also try brunch. I was just really disappointed in the quality of the food considering we were at an italian restaurant.

I came here because I saw that they have outdoor seating. My friend and I couldn’t decide on one dish so we ordered two apps each and shared. One app each would have been more than enough. We ended up taking home half for lunch the next day. The martini’s were delicious, the food was excellent and the portions were large. The service was good too. We were greeted and seated out side as soon as we walked in and the waitress checked on us often to see if we needed refills and to ask how the food was. The owner even came out to introduce herself and ask how everything was. I was very pleased with everything at Bobby C’s and will definitely be back. I was intrigued by the Sunday Brunch and will be checking it out shortly.

Pretty fantastic meal. EVERY time we go here. This was a particular busy night & we had the most exceptional waitress named Cathy. HER performance alone was worthy of 5 stars. The entire staff seemed to be leaning on her for help while she simultaneously ran the entire bar on her own!(not their fault, It was just a really busy night…) But it was very impressive to see a young bartender/waitress be perceived as the«go to gal» when it seemed that the rest of the seasoned staff was getting overwhelmed. Highly recommend!!! Everything on the menu is great & the portions are huge! Oh, and ask for Cathy at the Bar! :)

Order the butternut squash ravioli and you will leave with a full stomach and feeling blessed. Terrific service and food comes out rapidly. What more could one ask for?

My husband and I had dinner at the bar on the Friday of Memorial Day weekend. The restaurant was not busy at all but I think that’s because of the holiday. We both had a cocktail and I appreciated that the bartender made mine exactly as requested. We split the stuffed mushrooms – I liked that they weren’t super greasy or covered in cream sauce. For dinner I got the scallop appetizer and the fried artichokes covered in mozzarella and prosciutto. Both were fantastic! Husband got the blacked salmon and ate every bite. In addition to loving the food, the bar was a friendly place to sit. The owner seems so nice and is really working hard to make this a great place to eat. We are new to the area and are happy to have found a great restaurant so close to where we live.

My best friend is 9 months pregnant and this was our last time going out before she has her second child. We also had another friend with us who arrived a few minutes later. I was shocked we were seated before our whole party arrived. It was a Saturday night around 7pm and we thought for sure we would be wait listed or turned away. I ordered a martini with Grey Goose, Chambord, and pineapple juice. It was absolutely A-MAZING. I ordered the baked scallops with whipped pots and the soup of the day, which was broccoli and cheddar. My friends drank water and ordered salads for entrees. Their food came first. I was told mine would be right out, but I hadn’t received my soup yet, no big deal. By the time I received my meal my pots were cold and I did not have a soup on my plate. I asked the server for my soup. He did get it, but by this time my friends had finished eating. I asked him to please put my good back under the heat lamp. I work in a restaurant and I wasn’t thinking. I shouldn’t had assumed that’s what he was doing. He did not object though. He didn’t assure me that it would be remade. It was only 8 scallops and a side of pots, not that serious to remake, not that I even asked that. I was almost half way done with my soup when he asked me if I wanted my meal brought back out. I felt very rushed. I asked for a manager. The hostess came over. She assured me the meal would be remade and let me finish my soup. I complained a bit about the service, but I understand it was a busy Saturday. I’m a supervisor at a diner, the biggest of Boston. I’ve seen 4 page waits on Sunday mornings. I had a server call out and another 2 hours late on a busy morning shift. I had to take tables. I messed up so badly. I had so many tables, plus I was trying to seat as well as situate the restaurant… I ran the wrong credit card, I gave someone pancakes instead of the wheat toast they ordered, I gave a customer French toast instead of French fries. I had one of the worst shifts I’ve ever had and I told the host I understood what it was like to be short staffed or not properly staffed. I did not want my food comped, mistakes happen. I was still enjoying my food. All in all, I just wanted hot food. My meal was comped. The hostess turned out to be the owner. She was the sweetest woman, literally has a heart of gold. It was so nice to see an owner take responsibility and be the face of the restaurant. As a supervisor this was a breathe of fresh air. The staff is lucky to have her. She was so great and took so much pride, I will return.

Just left this restaurant and extremely disappointed. The service was horrible. Our waiter seemed to be In a rush despite the fact we were just one out of 3 tables he had. My aunt ordered chicken saltibucca and realized she got veal instead of chicken. When we brought it to the waiters attention he said sorry and rushed off. We got the bill and he charged us for the veal. We complained and he grab the bill and took off again. We waited a good 20 mins before the manager approached us. She basically interrogated my aunt and it was quit embarrassing. Not only did the meal come out wrong but they wanted to charge us for the more expensive meal she didn’t order. I felt like the manger didn’t believe my aunt! I thought the customer is always right! She didn’t even care if they charged her for the meal she orders but not for one she didn’t. Would not come back!

1 star for convenience. I live in Malden and was meeting my Mother and Daughter for dinner. Place looked nice inside nice feel to it. I’m going to start with, when I was there it was not busy At All. I have been in the restaurant Bussiness since 1988. I stared as a buss boy and held every position since then. Up to and including General Manager. This place has horrible service. Although the waitress was a nice woman she seemed like she was bothered the entire night by our existence. But whatever I’m there to eat not make friends. Menus was standard Italian/American. My mother ordered stuffed artichoke as an app. It was not cooked long enough the heart was hard and bitter the stuffing was pretty basic and lacked flavor. Entrees were eggplant parm for my mother. Filet Mignon for my Daughter. And me not being very hungry got Lobster Mac and Cheese. Eggplant was not good no flavor also very bitter. Lobster mac and cheese was not good, orange cheese and elbow macaroni plenty of lobster though. Filet Mignon was decent and cooked as ordered which was good. Salad that came with it was similar to a pizza shop salad. I probably no excuse me I will absolutely never again go here. Some places your like willing to give a second chance. Not here. Just keep driving to oak grove hopped the Orange line and head to the North End

I’ve been here a ton of times due to the convenience of being near my house. Every table is given complimentary Bread & Dipping Oil. The bread 85% of the time is always hard, feels stale, like it’s been sitting there all day… however the dipping oil is some of the best I’ve ever had. It is complex, flavorful, has excellent seasoning & a tiny bit of heat from the red pepper flakes. The most disappointing thing about this restaurant is that a few years back it was SO much better. The appetizers used to be twice the size that they are now. The past couple years, the portions have shrunk but the prices have stayed the same. I used to really enjoy the clam appetizer, it used to be a large plate with a mountain of clams… recently i’ve ordered it & I think they now give you maybe 12 clams. The lobster mac n’ cheese has always been a favorite, again back in the day, you would find a good portion of large chunks of lobster, claws, etc… now the lobster portions have gotten so minuscule. One negative is the soup — I’m a huge soup lover, but their soups have always been waaaaay too salty. Someone should have told the chef you can always add salt if you feel it could use some, but you can’t take salt away. I never order the soup because of how insanely salted it is. The pizzas they have are really tasty. I would recommend the soup. The coconut shrimp appetizer they offer is really good, decent portion, & filling. Recommend those. Ordered a steak one time medium rare — it was so well done & dried out. It’s a crap shoot when you eat there… some times you get a good dish, other times it sucks. The staff there are extremely friendly — always remember to tip well, it’s not their fault the food may not be that great, or the portions may not be worth the price.

It’s ok. The lobster ravioli is frozen and not freshly made. You can get the same ones at Alfredo’s Take Out Kitchen in Medford. It wasn’t worth the price. My mom had the haddock and it didn’t taste super fresh. The fish portion itself wasn’t very big and hidden by pasta and veggies. We like to support local businesses, so we’ll be going to Jack’s where the food is fresh and worth the money. Also, if you are looking for a fantastic piece for fish, Café Escadrille in Burlington MA blows everyone else away.

It’s so surprising to me to alway see so many negative review coming from a one or two reviewer profile which were opened in some case over a year ago but still just that one review… Was that place so bad that you had to open a Unilocal profile just to write that one review?! Bobby C’s is a fine establishment that has always offered very good service, large portions and well cooked flavorful food. I would recommend for lunch or dinner.
