Disappointing. I felt rushed, my gel manicure chipped in 4 days and the women there were openly complaining in Vietnamese and English about my not having cash and needing to tip them on my debit card. Additionally, one woman asked me to bring cash next time to tip. There will be no next time. You’re better off going to a less expensive salon.

Decent gel manicures for my daughter and myself — felt a little rushed — but they came out great.

One of the best mani-pedi’s I have ever had. The only reason it gets 4 stars is because the girl was a little slow, but she did a great job and end result was perfect clean lines and shiny nails! So I really can’t complain about it begin lengthy since she was obviously just being thorough.

I tried this salon a while back while searching for a good nail salon. The service was terrible and I noticed that some of the workers were also rude and somewhat mean to one of the women working there. No thank you!

I just moved to the complex recently and was looking for a place to get my nails done. I walked over to Beauty Nails yesterday and they were able to take me right away for a gel mani /gel pedi. My pedicure was amazing. She did a great job and I felt wonderful after. The manicure, while being well executed, lacked in service. Massage was rushed, I left with dry skin still on my hands!, and when I asked to cut my nails down, he just filed them. Now, usually, that would drop this to a 3 star rating, but my nails turned out REALLY good. I’m going out of the country this week so hopefully they will hold up. If so, Beauty Nails is my new spot!

love love love the pedis and Gel manicure here! The service i get is consistently attentive. I never have problems with chipping and their Gel manicure only cost $ 25 dollars, what a great bargain!..

I’ve been getting gel nails for over 4 years every 2 – 3 weeks and have been to every nail salon in and around Boston and I have found this to be the longest lasting gel manicure I’ve ever had! I’ve been to at least 4 different nail techs here in the last 6 – 8 months and my manicure never chips and lasts 3+weeks! Their color selection is amazing– I can’t figure out the previous bad reviews? Definitely 5 stars and I definitely know what I’m talking about!

Clean, organized, typical prices, friendly staff. What more do you need? I will definitely be back. The other customers I saw while I was in there were mothers or older, who may not Unilocal. This is definitely a solid place to go for an efficient, clean, well-done, reasonably priced pedicure.

I had a horrible experience here. I had booked mani/pedis for both myself and my daughter to prepare for an upcoming wedding. When I called, I double-checked that they could take us both at the same time. Well, we got there, and they took my daughter, while I sat and waited for 25 minutes. I had originally booked a gel mani for myself, but due to the long wait, I switched to regular polish. They finally brought me back, but then my 10 year old had to wait forever for me to be done. The tech did an awful job on my nails — she seemed far more interested in watching Wheel of Fortune on tv than paying any attention to what she was doing. I wound up having to take the polish off of my fingers before the wedding — which was two days later. There are so many other nail salons in Melrose that offer fantastic service, there is absolutely zero reason to go back to Beauty.

Just moved to the area, so decided to give it try. You pay for what you get. The low prices are attractive, but the quality is pretty disappointing. No customer service at all, I was left to dry my nails on my own at the drying station. The woman who did my nails just moved on to the next customer and didn’t even come to check on me when the drying was over. When I am paying to have my nails done, I expect that they’d do the drying. I guess not, they asked me to do it myself. The pedicure session was pretty short, not much of a foot massage or soaking. The whole thing, including nail polish application, took less than 30 minutes. All other places I’ve been to take at least 45 minutes. In addition, the massaging chair was extremely uncomfortable and left me more tense than I went in. The manicure session was straight up disappointing. They didn’t do much with my cuticles and the nail polish application was pretty amateur. I do a better job with one hand. Had big hopes about the place as it’s right by my apartment, but I guess I’ll have to go somewhere else next time. I’s rather pay $ 5 more, but enjoy my experience and get better looking nails.

I posted a picture of my horrendous shellac manicure, but can’t figure out how to connect it to a review. I had a shellac manicure done on a Friday night. The shellac did not harden, was applied unevenly, and looked terrible. My cuticles were left ragged. The shellac remained soft and pliant for two days and on the second day, it began to peel off.

I was in town for work and came across this nails salon. All of the staffs are friendly, but the most important is that my nails came out perfectly, gel manicure that last more than 3 weeks, no bubble, no chips. Iam very please with my nails! Would come back here again if I ever in town again!

Technicians are very nice and attentive. My pedicure was also nice, although short. Worst gel manicure I have ever had! Lasted 4 days! I have had regular mani’s that last longer! I have also in the past had a crappy regular mani here. I want to like this place because it’s so close to home but especially if you want a gel mani-AVOID

After making an appointment ahead of time, I went in for a gel manicure. They were clearly understaffed and over booked. My manicure took a total of 10 minutes. The woman barely filed my nails and then slapped some polish on. It came out terrible and looking incomplete. The woman should have told me they didn’t have time for me that day because they were understaffed. They were not able to provide a good service for the time and money that I spent. I will not be returning there. I would rather pay more money for a better quality manicure.

I went to this place for the first time this past weekend, although the places is clean and the people are friendly. They did an awful job on my mani/pedi. They did nothing with my cuticles, it looks like I never even had it done. It is over priced and was a complete waste of money.

I have been going here for over 14 years, since they were in downtown Melrose. They are so friendly, and do a WONDERFUL job on my nails. I haven’t lived in Melrose for about 10 years, but I still drive there every other week whether it’s for my nails… or a pedicure. Worth the drive!

So after driving by this shop for over a year I finally decided to give them a try and booked a mani/pedi. They are actually not at the address listed — they are on Main Street, however, they are right near Oak Grove Village on the Melrose/Malden line. The shop is huge and VERY clean which is a plus in my book. I will say though that the woman who did my nails, while very pleasant, should go back for a refresher class. She used the cuticle cutters to scrape my nails more than cut any cuticles — when she did decide to cut, cut she did… as in I have all of these little cuts now thanks to her job on my manicure. I was hoping this was going to be my local place to go but I won’t go there again.
