They have a very diverse and full menu. Soups, sandwiches and the usual fare. But also steaks, chops, Greek, Polish and many other variety of foods. Breakfast can be ordered at any time. I had the Monte Cristo sandwich for dinner. Huge! Ham sliced from the bone. Tender turkey. Swiss melted just right. The French toast was thick and sweet. I also tried the homemade chicken portini soup. Thumbs up. Service can be a bit slow, but if you’re not in a hurry and willing to relax and enjoy the company you’re with, it’s worth the wait.

This place is not fine dining. In fact it is a sort of dumpy diner where the furniture is worn out and has holes and the style is from the sixties. But it is a nice place to get a cup of coffee and breakfast. Also their soups are really good. The chicken soup is so fresh and homemade. It is just a run of the mill diner but the staff is very nice. In fact one of the regular waitresses, Erica I believe is her name is one of the nicest people in the world. She knows all her customers and remembers their names and is very kind. It is just a nice comfortable place. Nothing fancy.

Food is average but overpriced. Some of the waitresses are loud and talk to you from across the room, and call everyone Honey, or Sweetie. I thought that went away in the 60’s. But the real problem is in their billing. The bill always seems inflated. If you add it up, the figures are always wrong. If you question it, they say it’s because of the tax, which is not written on the bill, and which never adds up anyway. More than once I caught them listing 2 beverages when only 1 was ordered. I suppose they think nobody notices these things, and that may be true. Pay attention to your check. I do not appreciate being cheated, and therefore intend to never go back there .

Victoria’s is a sweet Restaurant — more for your dollar, generous portions, friendly staff and the best tzaiziki I have ever tasted in The USA. We visited at 3 pm — so it was not crowded. Everyone in my party had something different and loved it!

The question of where to find Polish home cooking was not one that came up when my sweetie and I checked in to the Super 8 in the somewhat manky suburb known as Northlake. But since practically all there was nearby was fast food, we asked the lady at the front desk how their attached restaurant was. She said they were good, so we Unilocaled them and found, what? Pirogi? Yes indeed. And goulash. A whole Polish menu, in fact, behind the standard diner fare. And all of it home made. Hello! I had the potato pancake with goulash, he had chicken meatballs with gravy. And it was awesome! All the soups are homemade fresh every day too, as our kick ass waitress informed us. You find the darndest things when you ask a local. I’d go back to this Super 8 for the Polish food alone.

Great curb appeal. The outside looks like a garden. Large food selection and various dinner specials. Very clean and inviting atmosphere including tentative staff. We frequently have our Sunday breakfasts there. Good coffee too.

This place was great! My girlfriend and I went this morning and were immediately greeted, seated, and served coffee and water. the wait staff was quick, friendly and constantly refilling our drinks. We were pleasantly surprised by the american/polish/mexican menu. Had chorizo and eggs, the beans were really good. Really great service. Would definitely recommend for breakfast if you live nearby.

I dislike restaurants that claim to have it all bc in the end they do nothing great. I really wish this place was better bc I would frequent it a heck of a lot more since its sooo close to home. But nevertheless every time I’m left leaving disappointed. My friend loves the place for some unGodly reason so I end up here for soup and salad only and I don’t even like the dressing. If you don’t serve an awesome Italian dressing I automatically dislike the establishment Italian is the easiet dressing to perfect! Ughhh don’t go here if you want really good food! Head to elm just to submist on lake st. It’s the same concept, but the food actually has flavor and tastes pretty decent.

Victoria’s has become our favorite breakfast place. Have been many times, service and food are always good. Have had lunch here a few times as well. Glad they are here and continuing to deliver decent sit down service and meals.
