Coasters Pub & Biergarten

Just had a very good experience here. This place doesn’t look like much from the outside but it’s a great place to go. They have a huge draft beer selection and I had a wonderful Alpine duet. It paired well with the fish and chips. Their fries are beer batter dipped and fantastic. The fish was fresh and not over battered. My wife had the Reuben sandwich which they said was the most popular. They featured a duck burger for their exotic burger. We will definitely go back.

Our favorite family night out. Prices are reasonable and food is always amazing. Love the weekly specials.

Nice staff get bar fun. The wine & beer on tap are excellent! Great selection & prices. Overall I enjoyed my experience. Service is attentive & give good recommendations on food & beverage.

Wow! Lasting impression! We traveled all day from the upper MidWest and stopped here first for a quick snack. It was obvious that we weren’t locals & were treated so well! The food was amazing! The service was so kind & genuine! Our kids ordered a ‘soda’ and loved the flavors. There was a great selection of beers on tap & we were given local recommendations. One of our favorite places on this trip!

Sadly, our second visit to Coasters didn’t go well. This time I brought my Dad and stepmother. My stepmother’s order was messed up. Rather than offer to correct the order, the server just shrugged and said, oh well. My dad said that better burgers can be had at a couple different different places in town.

Had dinner there last night. The food was good but a little bland. Friendly and curious staff. They have a nice beer selection (but it doesn’t match the menu) though which made up for it. It seems to always be packed so they must be doing something right but I wouldn’t go out of my way to go there again.

In town on vacation and work conference. Tried this local favorite and very much enjoyed it. Got the fish and chips and a burger both good. Tried some unique beer :) overall good place. 25 min wait

Great beer garden out back. Wonder beer selection and great food. Great for lunch or dinner. Burgers are delicious. Bar staff knows everything about the huge beer selection. Go to eat and drink.

The crab dip, deviled eggs, potato skins and coconut shrimp were all great appetizers. The Aussie burger was great. The other 8 people all loved their dishes. Great atmosphere outside in the garden.

The food is good. There is ample beer and drink selections. We’ve always had good service. What I really like is that it is not just «dog-​friendly» but dog welcoming, with water bowls and tie up hooks on the tables. That is uncommon and refreshing in this dog-​unfriendly county.
It’s a great place we can go relax on a Sunday afternoon and take the whole family, including our dog. We’ll definitely keep going.

They have a great selection of beer, and a great atmosphere outside but I was disappointed that they could not find a table for our party of 5 In a timely manner (took almost an hour) and that they brought out our food and very different time up to 10 minutes apart… Our server was very friendly and apologetic though.

Hidden away in a Walmart plaza I would have never guessed this place was so awesome. Sit in the garden (?!) and the food is great!

This place has a great atmosphere, good food and most importantly alot if BEER! It’s a great place to get a awesome burger especially their exotic burgers.

Amazing experience! Went for lunch and it was great, service atmosphere and food. Husband loved this place, once we come back in Melbourne we will be visiting again.

The Belgium Beer fest was excellent. The variety of beers and unique food options made it worthy of coming two nights in a row!

Food was really good! Ordered the Pretzel for appetizer and the Beef on Wick for my entrée. The beef on the sandwich was really good! A little too much cheese for me so next time I would order it without the cheese. The service was great and the outside seating was really nice!

Would have been five stars if the estimated 30 minutes for a table has not turned out to be 50. Another 40 for the food. Usually only spend 2 hour at a restaurant when there are 5 courses.
Service was otherwise ok, food was great, too many beer to choose from.

Stopped in for a Sunday lunch and some football. Service was great. Efficient and friendly. Shared the coconut shrimp. Very good. I had fish n chips. Flaky, tender and juicy. Awesome. My buddy had a French dip. Au jus wasn’t overly flavorful and the meat tasted like it was a couple days old. Food was quick for a packed restaurant.

Tried this place out as its a favorite of my office and just down the road from my date’s home.
I went on the night before Thanksgiving and it was quite packed. However, the staff were able to get me a table ahead of time while I waited for my date to arrive.
They have a pretty decent beer selection and some drink specials. It was nice to see Stone’s Arrogant Bastard on tap — our waiter commented that I had «excellent tastes.» My date had one of their specials and enjoyed it as well.
I had their special Wagyu burger and she had a chicken sandwich with cheddar. I felt my burger came out with the bun a bit sogged up and the burger, while juicy, lacked seasoning. For what it cost, I was expecting more. I think my date liked her sandwich more. I do have to give credit for pretty good, crisp onion rings though.
The wait staff here is excellent and do a great job even on a packed night, so definitely some props for that. The décor matches the pub atmosphere really well, and lots of wood tones in the seating and tables. Some of the chairs could probably use some refinishing, but nothing in horrible shape.
This is a nice place for some beers or drinks near the beach and it seems that’s more what it’s targeted for. Perhaps I’ll try another item off the menu and see how it is, but right now, I’m not sure that this would be a «go to» place for me.
