Best buffet around, kid you not. The staff are all nice and accomidating. I’m sitting in here right now and they are bringing us fresh buffet and everything right to our table. If you don’t come here, you will for sure regret it. Pretty cheap at lunch two, 8 bucks all eat. Perfect after a morning cruise if you ask me.

I was lazy today and ordered delivery from .5 miles away, it was fast, friendly, and delicious.

Recently ordered takeout from this restaurant. It appears that they have decreased the portion sizes. The egg rolls are now half the size that they were the last time we ordered from them. It appears they have reduced the size of the entrees as well. They now come in round containers that are 16oz. Won’t be ordering take out from this restaurant again. We have been ordering from this restaurant for 25 years so it’s very disappointing.

Buffet is the way to go! I have been coming here for years and have no complaints. Service is good and food is even better. Soup comes with the buffet and they just added some ice cream!

Incredible food every time!!! My family and I have enjoyed coming to this restaurant for many years. Their lunch buffet is always filled with hot, delicious and varied Schezuan delights. The servers are attentive and any soup or entrée orders are made quickly to order and served with a smile. We have never been disappointed and look forward to our next visit!!! Highly recommended. :-)

Always consistent. Lots of veggies, perfect dumplings, fast and friendly.

I’ve been going here since I was a teenager (I’m 30 years old now). It has always been great. The food is tasty, the wait staff is very attentive, the prices can’t be beat. They have the best General Gau’s Chicken I’ve ever had. I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant.

Fine Szechuan cuisine outside of Chinatown. The setting is a run down strip mall and a dated but cozy store front off route 109 in Medway.
Polite and efficient service, order from the «special» menu or ask for recommendations. An order of egg foo young will yield food prepared for american sensibilities as opposed to that region for which this restaurant is named.
An order of dry spiced fish, the house specialty, arrives in the wok that has cooked these crisped, tender nuggets of fish. Prepared simply with green onion and celery, the dish is fiery with whole red chili peppers. The fish is lightly breaded before being dry fried. The oil is red and clear, almost non existent in its lightness.
The plate of cold, cured roast beef is a mix of tendon and sliced tenderloin. The beef is tossed lightly with red chili oil. Chopped peanuts and cilantro are sprinkled atop the pile of tender meat. There is sweetness, heat, texture and beef intersecting in this dish.
The flavors demonstrated and the care shown for this Tuesday lunch are well beyond that of any traditional cash and carry out chinese delivery joint. Check out Medway and stop in Szechuan Garden.

Not a big fan of this place. If you get takeout, the food is just okay – very generic, not a ton of flavor. I wouldn’t recommend eating at the restaurant – it feels like no one has paid attention to its appearance since the late eighties. I lost my appetite looking at the buffet – everything seemed greasy and like it had been sitting out for awhile, although I did see the waitstaff checking on it periodically. There were a lot of strange people there when we came by last – everyone was dressed really sloppily, and we were lucky to be seated next to a family screaming at their kid the entire time we were eating. Just an all-​around unpleasant experience; I would consider getting takeout again because people seem to think this is the best Chinese place in the area, but I would never eat in the restaurant again.

This place was always my go to for Chinese food growing up. I ate there after graduation, for birthdays, and every New Year’s Eve. I loved the place so much the when it caught on fire I had 5 different people call to tell me. almost as if we were going to lose a loved one. even when I was living in Norwood I would make the trek to Szechuan for their crazy delish food and ginger sauce (!!!) but things have changed. I’m not sure if it’s new ownership or a new chef but they are not even trying to live up to the high standard Szechuan has set in years previous. the first time I thought it must be a fluke but after giving it two more tries they are dead to me. RIP.

no no no, went to buffet for Sunday lunch. can’t beat the price but the food is mediocre and lacking taste. I have been to many Chinese restaurants and they have the worst HoSo soup ever. so if you want to fill your stomach for cheap and quality doesn’t matter — this is your place, baby.

Was there Aug. 1^st, very disappointed. This placed used to be great, always loved it from the day they opened. I think they are under new management or ownership as all the old help disappeared and so did the quality of the food and service. I noticed the food was very greasy on the buffet. A lot of the food pans were always empty when i would go up for a few more things.
I had noticed this about a month before and thought it was maybe a bad night and tried it again to give them the benefit of the doubt… sorry, it still was not that good. They won’t see me for along time now. Too bad as there buffet used to be great, its just so so now. Have to find a new Chinese food place.

Worst place I ever eat! Buffet is okay but if you order food it sucks! Filthy bathrooms! Seems like the new owner needs to take a management class instead of trying to do everything herself!

The staff is very attentive from the moment you walk in until you leave. The food is always fresh and reasonably priced. Our go to place for Chinese food in Medway.

Very pleasantly surprised by the quality of the food in this hidden gem Chinese restaurant in a strip mall in Medway. The sesame chicken was crispy and not greasy. The egg rolls were awesome and the shrimp with vegetables was delicious. Plus, the wait staff was friendly and attentive. Look forward to a return visit.

A bit pricey but really delicious food. Also it gives a lot of food for the price. Great customer service and really clean restaurant, when you get take out it takes around 15 minutes which is great.

This is the Chinese restaurant I grew up with so I have a fondness for this place. We used to have parties here back in the day and I used to eagerly look forward to going with my family to indulge in their buffet as a kid. Even when I called for takeout the other night I am reminded of these memories :) For this town, this place is a staple in my opinion.

Any time I am in town I make sure I go here for lunch or dinner. The buffet is a good deal, and any time I have been it has been fresh. I have been going here for many years and have never been disappointed.
On my latest visit, it was towards the end of lunch, but the staff made sure to keep the trays filled, even asking us if we wanted more green beans, they would make us more, which I thought was very nice of them since we were the only ones left in the place.

Nice fresh, but small buffet. Could use some more seafood. Nice liquor selection (mostly bottle beer)

Really bad food, it soo oily and not all that great. Ordered dan dan noodles it was soaked in a soup of chilli oil. Im not really a health freak but the food they cook is soaked in oil and thats all i taste. It people looking for a good szechuan restaurant. Id try chili garden at medford. Dont waste your money here.
