The food is decent, but I heard the owners of imperial buffet took over this place and you can tell. The food sometimes is frozen in the middle, which says a lot. I do come here from time to time because the flavors are great and they also have a free sushi bar when you pay for a person to go the buffet. The buffet is large with a great variety of items, and the service is great! It is very pricey. Last time I went it was $ 16-$ 18 a person which is a little much if you’re on the college budget like myself. I’m not dying to go back anytime soon, I think they could lower the prices and maybe make sure all of the food is homemade(not just MOST of it) to impress me a little more. Just some constructive criticism!

This is a perfect example of the old adage, «Bigger is not always better.» While this buffet offered more choices of foods, I found myself wandering around the buffet looking for something that really looked good. In the end, it was an OK lunch, but I would advise going somewhere else that favors quality over quantity. And, while not a deal-breaker, the staff was terse and servers not very friendly. Yes, the words were there(e.g. «Have a nice day.»), but the tone and demeanor was, «Eat $— and die.»

This has to be without a doubt, the VERYWORSTFOOD I’ve ever touched my mouth too. I think any rat in the vicinity would travel miles away just to avoid this place. I nor, the party I was with are big on buffet seafood and, this has lots of seafood which probably holds the appeal to the many who patronize this restaurant. We were in the mood for Chinese food. This was not Chinese food, this was something from another planet or, something that came from the local Milford garbage cans. I could not believe we spent nearly 60.00 for 3 on a Sunday for this awful slop. I should’ve gone with my gut and went across the street to Acapulcos where I know they serve up some top notch cuisine . This is a Never Again Visit Restaurant… EVER!!!

It was our first time here yesterday and I have to tell you it would be our last time. There were so many things went wrong here yesterday. Our experiences were beyond horrible. We came here in a party of 12(9 adults+3 kids). We went to a graduation in Foxboro. We were so hungry when we got out. We originally planned to have a feast in Boston. Because of traffic, we decided to visit this Sky place from our family’s consensus. We arrived around 2:15pm for the dining. First problem: I, myself, came to the sushi bar and ordered an «Unagi roll», but the chef said«it was Dinner only». I looked at the menu one more time, that particular item didn’t have any label that said«Dinner Only». In fact, there were only 2 items that had such label. I thought my broken English was not loud enough, so I repeated the same order. The chef screamed like he wanted to spit at me: «Dinner Only!» I took a picture of the menu and attach it here. Does anyone see the item is indicated for«Dinner Only!»? It is #7 on the menu. Second problem: The waitress(her name was Mading or Mandi. I cannot recall her name) was horrible in service. There was another party table next to us. They were more like younger kids tried to celebrate their graduation. They were all drinkings and had some fun. For some reason, this waitress paid more attentions to them than us. OK, I guess because I was argued too much with the sushi bar’s chef… my bad. Third problem: Now this is one of the most disgusting experiences ever. It has to be the most awkward moment we ever experienced in our 20 year history of eating out in US. At this moment I still cannot believe we had such a horrible«treatment». Around 2:45pm to 2:50pm, they brought out a few more dishes at the buffet tables. One of our family members went grabbing one of the items(something with the crawfish). The moment she came back to her seat, the waitress ran over and said«That is Dinner Only!» I was like what??? The waitress said their dinner menu started at 3pm, so these items started to come out. If we ate these crawfish, we had to pay extra. OK, well the extra $ 5 was not much of a difference but do you think your AMAZINGAWKWARDEMBARRASSINGBEHAVIOR would let us continued eating your«fancy» food? I just felt like I wanted to puke right there. Fourth problem: When we were about to leave, my wife had to rush into their lady’s room from stomach-ache and chill feeling on her back… 30 minutes later on the way home, my brother-in-law had to rush into bathroom from stomach pain… Well I don’t want to describe the further details of this problem here. PLEASEEVERYONE, IFYOUCOULD, STAYAWAYFROMTHISPLACE. YOUHAVEMYWORD. ITISONEHORRIBLEPLACE, FROMSERVICETOFOOD. UNBELIEVABLE!

When you walk in the door the stink from the koi pond kind of kills your appetite. The first thing you see when you go up to the buffet is a warning sign that if you waste any food they will charge you an extra $ 10 a plate, that kills the experience right there. The staff watches you like a hawk 2,3 or more at a time which can feel uncomfortable with all the constant staring. The food was ok, chicken teriyaki sticks were like dry leather while the steak versions were a little rubbery.

Yuck. Yuck. Yuck. The food is not good. Pork fried rice should not be yellow. If nothing else. .the servers were friendly and efficient. but the food is just not good. The fully legged sea creatures should not share the same buffet table as my beloved chicken and vegetables! Gross! What if one walked over and fell into the veggies? I’d die. And so would other people allergic to seafood(mentally or otherwise. .)

Not worth it at all. When you first walk in, the smell of seafood is overwhelming and not in a good way. Food is mediocre. Nothing fancy. Still warm, but man, a lot of it was tough. Hibachi bar was incredibly lacking. I guess their thing is seafood. Mass amounts of low quality seafood, that makes a meal for two with two sodas on a Saturday night cost 40 $ and a waitress hovering over you to pay. No thanks.

Love this place! It is our family’s usual chinese spot when I visit my Mom in Franklin. The new location is awesome! Beautiful, spacious, and well run. The service is efficient and polite. They keep the buffet clean and well stocked, and clear your plates quickly. I have lots of favorites but I usually stay away from the fish items and mac & cheese. Not as enjoyable. The sushi is decent, nothing to write home about. The wasabi is not very strong, you might need more than usual. Overall, always a great experience and I leave very full. Can’t wait to go back soon!

I love me some Chinese buffet and after dining here I have to say that I love this buffet. Just to be honest, the Chinese food at this buffet is average, but I don’t come for the rice and lo mein, I come for the seafood. The oysters, shrimp, crabs, octopus and all the other shellfish were amazing and after eating 15 freshly shucked oysters I had to stop or I would have embarrassed myself. In the end, I have no complaints about this restaurant. The staff was great, the food was great, the restaurant was comfortable and I look forward to eating here again in the near future!

I frequent the sky buffet on a regular basis. Everytime we go there the hostess always has a huge smile on her face, The waitstaff always is diligent and respectful and greets us with smiles and waves. The hibachi chef Chen always has a smile and an outgoing personality and is always ready to cook up your plate… The sushi bar is OUTTA this world with Sky at the knife… The buffet food is constantly being refreshed so that it’s hot and mmmmm good !!! My boyfriend and I swear that once you have experianced Sky buffet all other Chinese food places do not fit the bill… The price for all you can eat is real affordable!!! I highly recommend that you stop by and give them a try!!! Unilocal should put these reviews chronical order because if they did you would see that all the negative reviews are outdated and hold no bearing!!! I still stand by the staff of the sky buffet because they have to deal with some very unpleasant, bossy, and down right rude people who do not take into consideration that they are not the only customers and expect the staff on a busy night to drop everything and just deal with them!!! Some people need to remove their heads from their asses and have a lil patience !
