Muffin House Cafe

Humongous muffins that pack an equally ginormous flavor! We tried the salted caramel and a sweet and sour (blueberry/​cranberry) muffin as well as a hot breakfast burrito. Great place to bring the family as a family of could eat for $ 23 and still have leftover baked goods to snack on later.
An enthusiastic 5 stars!

Coffee is their saving grace. Most of the food I’ve had here has been subpar or worse (a buffalo chicken wrap with a bone in it). I think I must be missing something because there are always long lines and a full parking lot but I’m glad a local business is doing so well in my hometown.

Love this place, I look forward to working the weekend, because I treat myself to one of their breakfast sandwiches, so good!

They don’t make their own bagels. That’s really the only negative thing I can say about MHC. Their pastries are amazing. Their coffee, hot and cold, is phenomenal. You can get a number of different breakfast sandwiches. There’s almost always a line here and it always moves quickly. They have a great system.

My family and I usually come here after every church nearby. We like to get a whole big batch of muffins to stock us up for the next week! Our personal favorites are by far the blueberry and chocolate chip muffins!

Still amazing. I actually woke up craving a blueberry muffin from here this morning… too bad traffic was so bad!

Went Sunday morning and the line was out the door! Thank God he has plenty of help behind the counter because I would not have waited. The line moved very fast and I got my muffins and to die for apple turnovers! Well worth any wait. And a thanks for making a smart decision for having all the counter help and keeping that line moving.

Lots of selections. Good breakfast sandwiches. Fast service. Especially when compared to a similar place in Medfield.

Had the Cranberry Orange muffin today. So good! Have to go back and try all the other muffins!

Fantastic muffins!!! Lots of choices, all delicious. The blueberry muffins are «to die for» with many other kinds not far behind. Great place to have a treat with a friend. My only complaint is that the drinks are not quite as much fun as the muffins.

Wow! It’s kind of Baskin Robbins 31 Flavors but for coffee! This place is a coffee lovers dream! Every flavor of coffee you can imagine AND they brew the coffee with the flavor so there is no sugary syrups pumped in. It’s just amazing! I had the cookie dough iced coffee which was delicious while my BFF ordered the snicker doodle flavor– also very scrumptious!
There was chocolate mint, pecan, pumpkin, hazelnut, vanilla, I can’t remember the gazillion others! Ha ha
This place isn’t called the Muffin House for nothing. HUGE muffins are lined up in a pasty case, again of every imaginable flavor. I had the lemon poppy seed which I enjoyed.
My BFF got one of the breakfast sandwiches which is made of a bagel, bacon, cheese, egg and sausage.
The product is amazing and so is the service. They are well staffed and help you in a timely matter. All of the employees were smiling and helpful. I was honestly overwhelmed with all the options and the lady who helped me was so patient, kind and helpful.

The muffin are very very good. The prices are not bad. The food is good but it has a lot of breakfast’s food not so much lunch foods. A place I would recommend it is very good.

Had to try this out while in town for work. Great community feeling, the whole town stops by to get breakfast here. Cozy fireplace amazing muffins. I had the blueberry– on the sweet side and the bottom of my muffin was coated in a layer of oil/​butter but otherwise very delicious. Iced coffee is soso. Come here for the small town vibe and good eats!

We have bought baked goods and coffee here, and we are happy they moved into town! Fantastic vibe there, and they have tasty offerings to match. Banana chocolate muffin is amazing, actually you really can’t go wrong. We have tried most of their case contents and always leave happy. I have never tried their oat bran muffin, but that would be a tough choice here, anyway. Not the cheapest but you get what you pay for. Lines run out the door on weekends for good reason. Only point to mention is the adhesive stickers used to seal hot coffee spouts on cup lids can leach postage-​stamp flavor into coffee when it sloshes around pre-​drinking.

This place is the best! In appearance, it’s just your standard neighborhood bakery; but the muffins are truly phenomenal. I personally swear by cranberry orange. They don’t skimp on ingredients – their chocolate chip muffins are absolutely stuffed with chocolate, and same with the fruit varieties. And, my favorite muffin detail: They sprinkle sugar on top, giving them the perfect crunch.
Their coffee and espresso drinks are great (and they carry soy milk!). We also bought a cake here for New Year’s Eve and it was delicious and beautifully decorated.
If you’re in a time crunch, don’t order an espresso drink (like a latte or cappuccino) – they take awhile, but they are worth it if you have time. Same with the breakfast sandwiches, especially when it’s packed on weekend mornings. Luckily, the line moves quickly, so don’t be scared off by the crowd.
Overall, wonderful local place, truly nice people and great food, and I’m so happy to see they’re doing so well. They even made it onto Phantom Gourmet this weekend!

Went here a few weeks ago. This place was on my bucket list because I’m always reading people rave about it online. We went in the late afternoon so I can’t really comment on their lunch, but the items displayed in the bakery case OMGD. Everything looked amazing. I get it now. I’m looking at the pics that everyone has posted so far on Unilocal and I don’t think it’s clear how GIANT everything is. 3 of us split a whoopie pie and we were stuffed. Coffee was just ok but I did not order a flavored kind so I will try that next time. I would love to try all of their bakery items. Not a diet friendly place for sure, but a wonderful place for a celebratory snack.

This place is as good as it gets. I work from home but come to the office in Milford once or so a week, the next town over. I discovered Muffin House Café one afternoon while searching for better coffee than the crappy stuff that comes out of giant machine.
What a find this turned out to be. The ice coffee is better than any «ice brew», «small batch» stuff I’ve had in fancy joints in Cambridge/​Somerville. I had lunch there the second time and the turkey club is passable as well, with huge hunks of real turkey meat, none of that sodium laden deli meat. I’ve never had the muffin here, but they look huge and delicious.
This place is an A++. If you ever find yourself somehow in Medway or nearby, stop in.

I grew up eating the Jordan Marsh Blueberry muffins! It was such a treat to learn that the Muffin House Café’ knew of the recipe. I picked up 4 Blueberry, 1 Cranberry and 1 Chocolate. The Cranberry was so good then later I tasted the Blueberry… WOW! I especially love the muffin tops. Great texture and perfect amount of baked sugar!

I love The Muffin House! We grab breakfast from here on the weekends (great coffee and bagels) and they have the best baked goods. I ordered a cake for my daughter’s birthday and was so happy with the way it came out. Sheldon was great to work with. So happy to have this gem in Medway.

I am probably here 3 – 4 times a week, between getting lunch orders for work or buying baked goods for home and I am NEVER disappointed! Their chicken salad is so fresh, it’s soiled any other chicken salad for me anywhere. Their blueberry, and banana chocolate chip muffins are delicious; and I highly recommend them!
Food aside, the staff behind the counter keep me coming back. Everyone there is a pleasure to be around, they all genuinely enjoy working there and those are the type of people I like to give my business to.
