The Coffee Colony

The Coffee Colony is a hidden gem in Medina. They have flavored coffee in sample packs freshly ground. They have a extensive variety of teas too. Great place for gifts or for coffee/​tea for yourself.

Simply the best coffee, teas and customer service anyone could ask for! The $ 1 coffee samplers are a wonderful and fun way to try the multitude of coffees available. The store itself is a charming historical landmark. Unique and beautiful items are also available for purchase, including personalized handmade gifts! Nothing beats the enticing aroma of the delicious coffees when you first open the door. Big smiles and a very warm welcome from the owners and employees greet you every time you visit. They’ll help you find the perfect coffee and tea for you to enjoy at home, or for your special event. A favorite place for us to visit. If I could buy my grandmother’s house & evict the chiropractor’s office that is currently inside, I would open up another branch of Coffee Colony out east. Perfect atmosphere where I wanted to curl up with a coffee & a couch & a good book as soon as I walked in. Loved all of the coffee & tea accessories and the clerk was very helpful in answering our questions. We got a bunch of $ 1 sampler packs & have enjoyed trying different blends (chocolate raspberry is our favorite so far). Be sure to check out the upstairs for more gifts & awesome photography by Mary Sandmann (her cardinal photographs took my breath away). I’m not that picky about my coffee but this place has brought out my inner bean snob.

Just walking in to this place makes you want to buy whatever it is they’re selling that smells SO good! It’s almost overwhelming, but in a delicious kind of way. The store has two floors filled with trinkets and handmade items, tea and coffee supplies, framed art, a small assortment of candles (wish they had more), and Christmas items.
I purchased two ½ pound bags of flavored decaf I look forward to trying. If it’s as good as the store smells, I know I’ll be sold.

I have spent most of my life in Medina. My parents used to have an office around the corner from The Coffee Colony. I finally visited with my siblings when were back in Medina for Christmas. My brother in law was heading back to visit his family in Ireland so we stopped by to send him back with some gifts from wonderful Medina, OH.
The smell of coffee which I love came streaming out the door when we walked in. We found a wide variety of tea pots, coffee pots along with a room to devoted to coffee and some tea as well. We were able to purchase many samples which was enough to make a pot of coffee. They also had a huge variety. My mom also bought one pound bags of Jamaican Me Crazy for all of my aunts. The aroma of the coffee was awesome. We put the coffee in the trunk and could smell it throughout the whole car. Not to mention it also makes a good cup of coffee.
