Wellington’s Pizzeria

I wish I could give them zero stars but apparently that is not an option. This «restaurant» is a joke. The food is gross. Most of the time it’s cold and inedible. The customer service is extremely rude. The delivery drivers are incompetent. I spoke with Simone this evening because the delivery driver was unable to follow directions and/​or read and Simone took it upon herself to hang up on me after I demanded a refund. We’ll see if I actually get a refund… apparently she was also incompetent as to how refunds work at her place of employment. After numerous screwed up orders and incompetent delivery drivers, I tried to give them another shot tonight but that was the LAST time. I get better food and service from Dominos.

The bruschetta is just insane. A GIGANTIC pile of cubed tomatoes and mozzarella, along w/​some obligatory basil dumped onto a few pieces of getting-​soggy-​by-​the-​minute garlic bread. I don’t think anything could make this taste amazing, but if they laid off the massive dump of tomatoes, they’d at least save some money and reduce the sogginess factor.
But the «Wellington’s Special» pizza is a piece of art to behold: ranch dressing, sliced potatoes, and bacon on a pizza that tastes kinda like a bagel.
Delivery is usually quick to my house.
Cheese pizza is solid.

We order from them at least 3 times a week. The food is great, the service is pleasant and fast and they have a great variety of pastas, pizzas and sandwiches. Highly recommended!

Pizza was soggy, owner was rude, and took WAY too long to make a simple cheese pizza. Much better choices in the area.

Just made a to go order at this place, waited for 25 minutes then asked about my order to discover my sub was sitting on the counter for who knows how long. The person at the counter (turned out to be the owner!) was rude and had an attitude when I asked about the slice I had also ordered. I decided to just skip it and leave when the owner started loudly asking what my problem was! Incredible! I ordinarily try to be a patron of local businesses but why order from this place with Regina’s and Betrucci’s nearby? And by the way, my sub was terrible!!! THIS OWNER DOES NOT DESERVE TO BE IN BUSINESS!

We ordered here last night, two burger plates and mozzarella sticks.
We placed our order at 8:50pm and didn’t get our food until 11:25!!! Over 2 and a half hours. The fries, onion rings and mozzarella sticks were burnt. The burgers were alright but at 11:30, I was a bit tired and didn’t really eat mine.
Very disappointed.

This is one my favorite places to order delivery food! I love their sandwiches — chicken finger, steak and cheese, hamburger. Their garlic bread and garlic knots are delicious. Tasty salads. The food is always fresh. The delivery service is speedy. Best of all they don’t have a delivery fee.

Ordered from here on Grub Hub. Food came within the estimated time. I had the margarita pizza and a garden salad. Both items tasted a bit bland to me. Since I was hungry I ate it but I probably won’t be clamoring to order from here again.

The buffalo chicken Mac and cheese was delicious. It was a creamy cheese with bleu cheese and buffalo chicken on top. I highly recommend trying it if you haven’t yet. the garlic knots were good. They could use a little less butter. Also the California turkey wrap was delicious you get a chose of wraps I chose spinach. I would order from here again.

Finally a place that is keeping it old school with the pizza. I got a slice of pizza and it only had one cheese on it MOZZARELLA! The way i like it and grew up with. No fancy 3 4 5 or more cheese unless you order it that way! Whos idea was it anyway to think i want 5 types of cheese on my pizza? So I will be back thanks

Ok so the first time I go here I ordered a couple burgers … Girl told me about 15 mins 45 mins later I received my burgers and I was informed they were outta pickles not even a big deal I ordered my burgers med rare burger was so over cooked it was crunchy on the edges I couldn’t even eat it… So for some reason I though I’d give it one more try… I call put in my delivery order it’s about 7pm … 730 rolls around and the girl calls me and pretty much tells me they don’t have the ingredients to make half the stuff on there menu … So I pick a couple pasta plates which I had to wait another half hr for so now it’s about 815 … I get my food nasty bland pasta is over cooked and mushy cheeses garlic bread is cold hard and neither garlic or cheesy … I gave the 2^nd star cause there wicked polite… Ya but never again … Menus goin in the trash … Sorry but you guys are a major take out FAIL…

I am very surprised by all the high marks here but I ordered a pizza and got a soggy mess with canned ingredients for toppings. The staff was nice enough but the pizza is terrible here.
I paid 15 dollars for a pizza which is not too much from what Regina’s charges for better pizza. This Pizzeria is clear case of charging for Koolaid at champagne prices.

I don’t have much info to go off of here but I cant understand the disparity in the reviews. I stopped in yesterday after checking out the circle in the square event. This would seem like a chance for any business in the square area to make a good impression there is probably ten times more foot traffic than on any other given day. I just wanted a slice for the stroll home. Wellington you blew your chance for a local customer. Public event, decent crowd size in the square… around 5, and the slice I got even after being heated up tasted like one that had been sitting under a heat lamp since about noon. And I don’t think they had a special or anything for the square event… missed opportunity

I literally just ate my order from here that was delivered via GrubHub and I will not be going back. I got a pretty simple order, burger with fries and a small mozzarella sticks. I had stuff to do so I didn’t bat my eyes at the hour plus long delivery, sure whatever.
Food got here… looks okay, my mozzarella sticks were undercooked and my fries were undercooked. My burger looked like BURGER BREAD PUDDING and was falling apart in my fingers. What bothers me is A) it took an hour… you think it’s okay to wait for an hour and then not spend a few extra minutes to make sure my food is cooked properly? B) you think it is smart to put a wet pickle with soggy undercooked fries and a burger all on top of each other rather than separating them when you are delivering the meal? C) you could have actually been a decent place to go to, but you don’t care enough about the quality of your food to ensure a satisfied customer.
You should have noticed it was my first time ordering here via grubhub and it was going to be my first impression and it is a negative one so I won’t order from here again.
Also, why was your delivery boy looking for a tip when I already gave him $ 2 on top of the delivery charge? I hope they get that money and you don’t stiff them.

The Mac and cheese at this place is out of this world. This was some good handcrafted food. My family and I are visiting from out of state and this was close to our hotel. Boy we were glad to have found it. We also had pizza and baked ziti, both were delicious but the Mac & cheese was on another level.

Ate here a few times, just out of convenience basically. Also had delivery too. Food is very VERY mediocre at best (anyone saying otherwise obviously doesn’t know what good pizzeria food really is) and the service /​attitudes here are AWFUL … The owner and employees seem to think they can treat customers like crap and they’ll still keep coming back.
MESSAGE TO OWNER: Your food isn’t very good and your attitude sucks. We’ll never be back and we’ll tell everyone we know not to do business with you because your attitudes are HORRIBLE.

I almost don’t want to Unilocal it because I want to keep it to myself.
I’ve tried this place a few times now because the first time it sucked me in with flavor and had me wanting to try everything that came out of the doors.
I’ll briefly write about what I’ve had, but also want to mention the young lady with the short hair that works here is so friendly :) Thanks for being nice… every time I’ve come in, you’ve received me and my family with a smile and I know everyone has shitty days, if you were any of those times you’d never know.
Truffle fries — heaven. crispy even after carrying home from the place, flavorful with every single fry. If you want to treat yourself get these.
Mac and cheese — Probably one of the most comforting mac and cheese I’ve ever had. I never eat mac and cheese but to be honest I was farking sad this day and this made me feel better. Thank you.
I don’t like pizza since going to Italy in 2005, but felt like I should try it since it’s in the name. I had their special Wellington Pizza. Holy shitballs. Get it. I ate half the pizza MYSELF.
Crab cakes. These I wouldn’t recommend as much as the others. They stuffing was really far to heavy and thick for my liking. The flavor was nice and when I got a bite of crab it was soft and yummy, but the stuffing was to thick and kinda gooey.
Cobb salad — Everything was fresh. Mine lacked avocado, but I’m guessing theirs went bad like mine do so mysteriously fast. The chicken was juicy, and seasoned really well. the outside had a nice grilled char with yummy flavor and inside was super yummy.
Garlic Knots — I won’t get these again only because I think the devil himself makes them. There is really no describing how tasty these things are. You just have to try them for yourself. Try and picture it though… Fried dough, garlic, butter, salt united and created the perfect child. There ya go.

We found our new go to pizza delivery place!
We ordered it on Grub Hub (love that site) and got a greek salad and a hawaiian pizza.
The pizza was excellent! Just the right amount of sauce, ok. I could have had a bit more sauce and less cheese and more pineapple, will specify next time.
But, it was good. Great crust, not soggy and not too thin or too thick!
The Greek salad was good but wish they had riper tomatoes and the dressing was a bit funky. I enjoyed the feta immensely though.
The price was very reasonable and I will definitely be back for more!

Ordered a pizza for delivery. It arrived hot and was delicious! The only thing that made this a 4 star review instead of five stars, the sausage was cut paper thin I thought they forgot to add it. If they cut the sausage a little thicker I’d give them 5 stars.
Update: OK So we have ordered here a few times and I have to say we love Wellington’s Pizzeria!
The crab cakes and the truffle fries are heavenly!

Tonight we are trying the mac n cheese and garlic knots.
Well the mac and cheese arrived and looked fantastic unfortunately it was bland. I don’t know what kind of cheese they use but I couldn’t taste the cheese flavor at all or any other seasoning.
Next was the garlic knots, a few were well done as in black «see the pics» and the garlic butter was all over the bag. I guess whoever sealed the container wasn’t paying attention. The ones that were cooked properly were delicious!
Wellington pizza is still one of the better places to eat in Medford. But if they want to be the best and I am rooting for them they need to keep an eye on what’s coming out of the kitchen.

Hole in the wall with excellent crab cakes and truffle fries.
First lunch here was a success.
