The veggie burger was outstanding. Well worth going out of your way for. Superb. Good beers too and we had a lovely waitress.

I like this place for the atmosphere during the week, Monday-Thursday, dinner time. Relaxed feel. Good selection of drinks to try and sip on. I do wish the beer selection was bigger. Food is good. Burgers are filling, waffle fries are awesome. Some pretty nice bartenders as well. They do some events weekly with plenty of specials. Even have a dance club upstairs! I would recommend this place to anyone. Thanks for the service guys/gals!

Normally a favorite of ours for hot and delicious food. Tonights meal was nothing less than disappointing. My cocktail was nothing more that colored vodka. My husbands food order came out wrong and mine was totally flavorless(repeat after me: salt is my friend). In addition, my linguini was actually angel hair and there was hardly enough pasta for a toddler. We shared our views with management who did nothing more than say«so sorry.»

Why come here? Met friends here on a Tuesday night after work for a drink and early dinner. We left feeling underserved, underwhelmed and over charged. The dining room is vast and airy with great natural light from the street, high barn ceilings and original brick. If looks were everything, The Bo is a winner. Sadly they’re not. After being sat up front near the windows, we reviewed the menu, looking for a glass of wine and waited. I had time to thoroughly review the drink, wine, beer and food menu a couple of times before the gentleman waiter stopped by. My friends ordered their drinks and I ask for a taste of one of the wines. number of minutes passed, now all of us out of water, before his return. Not liking by taste I asked for a glass of another wine. We wanted to order food at the same time but he rushed off. You see where this is going so I won’t waste any more of your time. To sum up the service, it was pathetic. But how about the food? Love’n me some BBQ, I ordered the Board to sample the brisket, ribs and chicken at $ 22. Based on the amount of meat received, this is WAY overpriced. The portions are what I would expect for lunch, not dinner and the sides were tiny. The brisket was moist but where’s the smoke? Could be boiled sou vide. On the flip side, the little portion of chicken breast on the plate was extremely dry. Almost like it’s from yesterday and was reheated. The ribs were the only good part but there is no way I will spend that kind of cash for that low quality and small portions again. We did start with the Rattlesnake Tails $ 8 which were good but a small portion. I don’t get it Maybe the owners are way in over their head in debt so the portions are small and they can’t afford to pay their overworked wait staff and board chef. Whatever the reason, there is no place to go but up.

Best Martini ever! Fantastic food too. The Gorgonzola salad is amazing, and the BBQ ribs literally fall off the bone!

After a long road trip we were happy to find a place that was open late. The outdoor dining area is something I wasn’t expecting. The area is done really really nice. Food was pretty good and service was even better. They were working hard with the bar scene mainly. Had no idea it was karaōke night. Karaōke night attracts some real interesting people. And by interesting not in a good way.

Hit the Bo club for a late lunch… First timer, so I was taking it all in… The atmosphere and décor are from a throwback era… Its that 1930’s old-school Chicago style restaurant feel… From the lighting to the wood accents to the old building feel… The waitress/hostess was very nice and attentive from her first greeting to her friendly goodbye, she was great all the way through the experience… What did I have? Being the first time I like to keep it simple so I can get a feel for the food and whether or not I’ll come back and/or what I might order the next time around if I do go back… I had the«Good» burger with bacon added… It comes accompanied with waffle fries off the lunch menu… The waitress asked me how I wanted it cooked, I like a place that will make it to temp(I ordered it medium, and it came to the table perfectly medium)… The burger was juicy and chargrilled with a good flavor… The bacon was great, the garlic mayo was on point with the garlic really shining through, the grilled onions were a nice touch and the bun was good… Here’s what I didn’t like, they put chopped/diced lettuce and tomatoes on it… Because it was chopped/diced it took away from the rest of the burger and kind of took over… It wasn’t needed and made the burger really messy and a little hard to handle because the bun got a little soggy from the chopped veggies… It really put a damper on an otherwise good burger… The waffle fries were pretty ordinary, but the ranch was great and the organic ketchup(from Portland) was good, both condiments were able to elevate the waffle fries… So the bottom line is, it was a pretty good lunch… I’m not sure the burger was worth the price, especially compared to others in the neighborhood(like Burger Spot)… But I would probably try it again, I would just tell them to hold the chopped/diced veggies… ***Eat Local***

Saw this place on Unilocal and decided to try it. It is located in the old downtown area of Medford in a very quaint brick building. It has seating inside or outside on a patio. What I liked about this restaurant was the menu choices. Most restaurants have pretty much the same menu items to choose from: hamburgers, steak or chicken. This restaurant does too but they have taken them to the next level. I had buttermilk deep fried chicken and it was awesome. And instead of the topical side dishes: mashed potatoes and corn, it came with collared greens with bacon and cheese grits. Yummy! I definitely want to go back and try some of the hamburger choices because they looked delicious. I wanted to add that we did meet the brand new owner of the restaurant and he commented that there would be some changes in the near future.

The only reason I’m giving two stars is because it smelled great and the menu was very interesting. The service was not. We were sat in an EMPTY restaurant and the server disappeared. The other server asked if we were helped and we said no, then she disappeared. The bartender completely ignored us. There Is no excuse for this in a empty restaurant. It’s like they were pissed off that we came in. After about ten minutes the waitress started walking towards our table and kept on walking. If she had even said she would be right with us we wouldn’t have walked out. No Bueno!

The first time I ate there it was good. Had the Bad burger. Service was good and friendly. However the second time. Wow. If you advertise southern food you’d think fried catfish would be a no brainer?! Had the catfish tacos. Came with greasy super salty fries that weren’t even edible. The tacos came in a cold hard tortilla with dry old lettuce and a tiny bit of dry quacamole. Now the fish. First of all there was about 1 ounce of fish per taco! How expensive is catfish anyway? They serve a burger big enough for two people for $ 2 more!? Then to top it all off the fish was mushy and greasy. Edible I guess but come on! The service was horrible. Never checked on us or ever even asked if the food was good or not. Didn’t want to know obviously. A person sits in front of a nearly full plate of food for 20 minutes… Look I don’t ever right reviews but this was unbelievably bad. Medford needs more quality restaurants!

We came here for a Christmas Party for work so this is slightly different than a normal visit. I will say they weren’t fazed and did a fantastic job. Servers here are skilled in their craft and made this a fun place. Whilst known for their cocktail creations, I am rather boring so just had beer, but many colleagues partook and were very happy with the selection and execution. Worth mentioning is the fact they do a Moscow Mule that is fantastic(had a sip) and properly done with a copper cup. The appetizers were amazing, in particular the Filthy Fries which is a take on Canadian Poutine, as well as the hot wings with a unique sauce. My entrée was the Salisbury steak which was one of the better things I’ve eaten. The gravy and fries make my mouth water just thinking about it. I understand the catfish, burgers and meat platter is equally fantastic. Lastly, would like to point out they use local stuff when possible, and the Owner/Chef served on QE2… service reflects that and that is a Tall Order.

We were here 3÷29÷15 celebrating our anniversary. Since we had a babysitter(holy rare opportunity!) we ate at the bar. The Bohemian Club is owned by Chef Neil that also owns Smithfields in Ashland. One thing I learned from Smithfields, I am simply not a fan of their burgers. In fact, after that meal if I had based my ideas solely on that, I probably would not have returned. Their fried chicken, my friend, is where it’s at. DELICIOUS. Hands down, by far, the best fried chicken I have ever eaten. You must try this… The buttermilk fried chicken. Your tongue and taste buds will be dancing a tango over the flavors. I also enjoy the cheddar grits that accompany the meal. The collard greens are not awful either. Also try the Rattlesnake tails for an appetizer. Only 4 stars due to the service. It’s sketchy… I think they are struggling to find good help, and get people trained. Perhaps a bit of a learning curve but I do hope they stay.

From rumors whispering a place of southern inspiration, we opened the door and felt the hospitality and culinary memory run for the hills. Just stick me with a brick of butter Paula, because the Bohemian displayed a charmless dinner of service and supportive ingredients. Digs: A thin, reclusive door painted a cool ‘speakeasy’ vibe when entering; protruding outside was a neon sign(not glowing due to the daylight), which beckoned us like a silent typographical ghost of Medford; the walls crawled with aged brick, the old-town industrial scheme; a longer then wide space, we sat center stage in the open dinning area; a few nooks with tables along the inner wall where a blast of laughter rang out which some coined as «the laughening»; a shallow supply counter was in view where I noticed waitress confusion; Ate: «The Ugly» Burger $ 12 — a dry sorrow; a thick sphere of ground beef«chargrilled»;(I’m no grill guru but when we requested medium-rare and it arrived proud with black stripes tasting of metallic flavor — that’s my friends was«well done»); the goat and jalapeño marriage was present along with the onions and iceberg lettuce but the sauce combination of garlic aioli /avocado salsa tasted like a delicate brushing; to add sand to the desert, the bun create an impressive tower of toasted gluten, continuing the knife-in burger movement; dashed to the side was a micro Caesar salad with baked dressing/cheese atop; Drank: «Mule-eh?» — a frosty treat that kept me slurping; vodka, ginger beer, a surprise spicy Cayenne pepper, with dos bold limes; served in a ferociously chilled copper mug; occluded with ice; worth the 15+ minute wait; Service: Waitresses seemed to dart away, appearing to second-guess themselves; talk indicated our main server was«in training» but the timing was poorly planned even with her senior support; sadly three cooking preferences on burgers were each plated for the wrong person; dipping sauce were changing identities from ranch to blue cheese; the game of Clue was afoot calculating who was adding time to our 40+ minute entrees — could it be the kitchen? the bartender? in the library with the wrench?; Overall: With lack of attention to the customer and it’s menu the Bohemian flounders in it’s own intentions. The presentation is admirable but you can’t judge a burger by it’s buns(I had too.) BC needs to evaluate how it serves and what it serves if it’s going to perform on that tipping point of classy-casual. I would love to see more soul food in their pricey southern wishes.

The place was so packed last time I came here at diner time(good sign) that I postponed my visit. I came back at happy hour to try my luck again. Lucky for me they had half-off snacks. I had roasted jalapeño and goat cheese wrapped in bacon and grilled wedge Caesar salad. Now I know why the place was so packed. The food was DANK! Also the service was great too. 5 stars.

Not a fan. Very poor slow service(although every one is friendly). Place was 2⁄3 empty and waited 5 minutes to be seated. Had to ask 3x for my first glass of wine, and after waiting 10+ minutes for my second went to the bar to get it. Food — arugula salad was a soggy mess, don’t order. Entrée was the mixed Bbq plate which was pretty decent. Look elsewhere for food.

Great food! Great Atmosphere! I would love to give this place 5 stars… but can’t quite do it. Pro: –Nice little date place –Friendly staff –Good atmosphere –Reasonable Prices –Great food Cons(why I can’t quite do 5 stars): –Long wait for the food… appetizer came out quick, but main dishes were quite a wait. –My burger was delicious, and I would normally want a medium, or medium rare burger… but this was definitely on the RARE side –I asked for my fries to be cooked a little longer, so they were crisp… they came out limp :( All in all… its a great place and I’m sure we will go again. ** FYI: Rogue Treasure Chest coupon books… they are not honoring coupons to the Havana due to a change of ownership **
