Izzie’s is consistently fantastic! My daughter and I went last week wanting to relax, have a nice meal and sit and talk. Izzie’s does not disappoint. The Caesar salad compares to no other. A head of romaine is split, grilled and topped with a fantastic dressing which soaks into the warmed romaine. Instead of typical day old bread croutons the salad is accompanied by crostini slathered with goat cheese. The salad is finished with a Parmesan tuille. I know Izzie’s isn’t a pizza«place,» but it is a place for great pizza! Try the caesar topped pizza(yes, caesar salad). We had the portabella and bacon topped pie. The crust is char blistered, light and delicious. Don’t miss the risottos; creamy and dreamy. Ask about the dessert menu before the meal. If pound cake is on the menu, do not pass it up! Izzie’s is my favorite spot in Medford for a good, comfort meal.

Had the brunch. Yummy vanilla french toast & a huge serving of it. Perfect scrambled egg. Tried bff’s cheese/veggie omelet — deelish! Loved the complimentary zucchini bread & the coffee is damn good. Go there soon… and stop for me on the way :-)

My wife and I went to Izzys for lunch. It was busy at mid day on a saturday. They had really good service and the good was also great. I had a Breakfast burrito it was great and filling. The hash browns were really good too. My wife got the Ruben and it was good but not great, she said she would not get it again. The Onion rings were great, super crispy. They had a really creative menu including french toast crusted w captain crunch. Also coconut crusted French toast. At the start of the meal the bring cornbread with icing. You can yell they have really high service and food quality standards across the board. Definatly going back, highly recomend. If you do not go, you’re missing out!

I’ve decided Izzie’s deserves a five start rating now. My bf and I were going to get take out last night but ended dining in. I hadn’t eaten inside the restaurant since it moved to the new location. Still small but it seemed alot bigger than the original place. Well since we dined in, we had a lot more menu options, from salads and sandwiches to dinner entrees and appetizers, which you don’t get on the takeout menu. For a starter we had the fried calamari and it is now the best I’ve had to date! Lightly battered(almost tempura-like) served with a side of hot pepper jelly instead of marinara, it was fantastic! And the portion was the largest I’d ever seen, I ate so much I could only eat half of my sandwich. Note: those of you that know me well can attest that I never leave food on my plate. Then came out the jumbo sandwiches and onion rings we ordered. Seriously, the portions are too big, I’m amazed that a place gave give you that much food and still stay in business. Needless to say, I had the other half of my sandwich and onion rings for lunch just now and am very full again. Love this place!

I LOVE this place!!! It has since moved from the tiny space to a HUGE space next to the Rite Aid on Stokes Road. The sandwiches and salads are great, yes, but where Izzie’s hits their stride is on their daily specials. They have small plates and large plates ranging from their FANTASTIC crabcakes to pasta with asparagus and shrimp in a white sauce. The onion rings are to die for and are bigger than one’s own head! All their desserts are homemade and if offered, you MUST try the Nutella Chocolate Bread Pudding! OHMYGOSH!!! What a nice little gem we have in Medford :)

MMM so good. Their bread is sooo fresh and the pesto dipping sauce is to die for. I had the muscles and they were fantastic. I also tried a little bit of the dishes my friends ordered and they were all great. Really awesome place, great service, and it gets packed fast! I will surely return!

Like food? You’ll love Izzie’s. Everything on their menu is scrumptious! I have eaten there many times & I’m never disappointed. Tucked away in Medford(at their new spot) is a gem of a restaurant. It’s casual so the kids can definitely join in. Don’t expect a quiet, intimate gathering but do expect fun & fabulous food! Whether you eat in or take it out, you’ll definitely be back for more.

They clearly know how to fry – hot! The crab-cakes, french fries, and onions benefit from this so anything fried is recommended. If you only care about the food then I’d say 5 stars, but I can’t give it to them since the décor and ambiance are no good; it’s a bit dark and country kitchen. Also, the coffee was no good; seemed like they just served the standard restaurant supply coffee. You get a sense that the owner/manager/chef really care about the quality of ingredients and final product that comes out of the kitchen. The menu is not run-of-the-mill, they have interesting variations on some of the traditional ingredients and deli sandwiches. The portions are too much if you eat 2000 – 2500 calorie diet. If I remember correctly, they allow splitting a meal with a modest $ 1.50 fee. I would highly recommend that you do that otherwise you’ll likely waste a lot of food.
