Portions are very small, service was slow, waitress never asked how we were doing and prices were too high.

The best thing about Elmer’s is their break feast. Service is ok but there are better places to eat here in Medford

My burger was just all right but my daughters german pancake was horrible. Burnt around the edges and doughy in the middle. The second one was just as bad. The manager took it off the bill so i gave them 3 stars instead of 1. Come on Elmer’s get it together!

Amazing pancakes! I don’t like neither IHOP Denny’s or any other breakfast place! But these pancakes are good!

We have visited Elmer’s several times including holidays, always good food and the staff is always pleasant and professional. Good location, good atmosphere, we have been going back for over a year.

I finally tried this place… I have to admit the food was much better then I had expected– I had the northwest omelette and it was really very good– the side options were limited but I opted for a potato pancake– it was hash browns in the shape of a potato pancake… um… okay… I would still give it more stars but the entire reason I’ve avoided this restaurant and can’t give them a better review because of it… is the fact that they have a purple parrot slum bar in this location– it’s been robbed before and is always frequented by druggies and other various types of sketchy people… it doesn’t feel safe and I’d prefer not to park my car outside of it– close the tweaker nest and I’ll change it to four stars– until then I certainly wouldn’t take my grandma here

Elmer’s, you did not disappoint! I hadn’t been to you since early childhood(when I would order a giant stack of buttermilk pancakes while my dad blearily wiped the sleep from his eyes as we got ready to head to the airport for super early flights)… I’m much older now, and I suppose you are, too, but your fare is more than fair to this day(and only getting better, it seems). First, I would like you to know that you took my eggs benedict virginity. That avocado benedict was… Absolutely stunning. Not only visually, mind you, but gastronomically. My tastebuds were worshipping that little tangy, eggy, wonderful dish. The seasonal fruit hit the spot, as well. I also had a bite of my sister’s german pancake with lemon, butter, and sugar. It was delicious. Insanely so. The atmosphere was nice, but I would say that it was a tad chilly inside! Also, our waiter/host was nice enough, but not friendly. Maybe he was just having an off day. Overall, a true delight. Thank you, Elmer’s! :)

Came here for a birthday breakfast. Was dying to try the German pancake. Ordered the lingon berry version and it did not disappoint. Pancake, aka monster cake, came out super duper huge and looked intimidating at first, but the cooking process didn’t produce an oily goopy mess. It was light, airy, almost crêpe-y like, and had the eggy flavor I was looking forward to — total win for my taste buds :-) Only down side is — Now I’m sad because there’s no place in the Bay Area(that I know of, at least) that serves German pancakes :-(anyone know of a place, please do let me know. Thank you!!! Have to mention — the coffee, OJ, and protein items: bacon(thick cut, crunchy, yummy smokiness), sausage(not nuked, juicy and cooked to perfection) and eggs(super fresh tasting) were all on point. We also had the sun«something»(can’t remember the full name) omelette — with a chipotle sauce — was awesome. I don’t normally like omelettes with salsa but this one was done right, and did not end up a sloppy mess, in spite of the bacon, cheese, green onions and chipotle sauce enclosed within. Kudos to the chef(or cook) who did an excellent job on our entire bday bkfast. Have this place bookmarked and will make sure to visit as often as possible(aka whenever we’re in the vicinity of one).

Came here specifically to try the German pancakes. The pancakes were more of a crêpe texture. Good to try once but not going to order again. The four of us ordered different meals and everything was tasty and good portions

We’ve been on the hunt for a breakfast joint. When we came across this place. We were seated quickly and ordered massive amounts of food. I think our eyes were bigger than our stomach! I got the California benedict with hash browns and fruit. Hubby got chicken fried steak breakfast and we shared a German pancake. Though we left full and with leftovers the quality was average. Staff was friendly and place was clean. I’m sure we’ll be back.

They have a vast menu and offer something for everyone. The French toast and crepes are good. I would pass on the crab Benedict, I had it and the crab was bland and just not appetizing.

I was catching a flight out back home so I decided to get some food to go and hit the«Rogue Valley International Airport» hahaha everytime I say Rogue Valley and International I have to laugh. Stay focused Lex! This place is a dump. I ordered the food came in to pick it up and it is busy. Busy weekend I get it. I ask the hostess if there is a bar and she directs me back to a complete hole in the wall. In the bar I am greeted by an older gentleman who says nothing to me as I enter and hang out waiting for my food. The employee doesn’t even ask for a drink order. Cool. The bar is full of druggies. There is no TV to watch the game? I see what the owner is doing here. This bar is screaming with, «We don’t care about you, we don’t want you to be distracted with social interaction, we want your drug money in our machines.» It gets better. A waitress comes in and is eating her break food at the counter and her and the bartender start talking about a robbery that happened in this bar recently. No kidding? They continue to joke and one of them says, «Welcome to Elmers». Hmmm couldn’t see that happening in this dump. I am surprised that there is no bars on the windows. So I leave the bar as quick as I can before I develop dirty film on my skin. I go back to the front and lo and behold there is my food. Sitting on the counter. I ask the hostess how long has this been waiting here? She says not long. I open it to check the contents. All of the food is ice cold. I have to catch a flight with my family and bring them this to eat? I ask for ranch for my kids cold chicken strips. The hostess brings back ranch that was the size of a pool.(I posted a pic). When I left out to the parking lot I see one of the Elmers cooks leaving to his truck. He looked like he was high on drugs. No I am serous. His eyes were blood shot red. Elmers needs to drug test this cook and its bar guests. I wanted to confront him about my experience but I was seriously afraid. I got in the car and checked my sandwhich and there was no chicken, it was slopply put together, and tasted like it had been sitting for a while.(I posted a pic). I know this is long one this time. Sorry this place gets the pent up frustration. I am sure I caught this restaurant on a bad day. But honestly there won’t a second chance.

Never know what you’re going to get! I have gotten take out here quite a few times. I’m usually satisfied with the service. Today I decided to have breakfast here. While making my order the waitress just started walking away, I had to continue giving her my order while she was walking away from me. When I got my food, the order was completely wrong!!! I guess she wasn’t listening! I found that to be incredibly rude! I may decide to eat somewhere else when I am in town on business, every couple weeks, from now on.

Took my Mother here for Mothers Day and thankfully we had a reservation because it was packed. Breakfast was great and all the staff was courteous and hard working.

Very disappointing. We took my elderly father-in-law out for lunch, and as he wanted dessert, we were disappointed to see there were only three dessert items to choose from. One of them, the apple pie, was dreadfully undercooked, the apples were hard and so was the crust. Dad mentioned this to the server, but nothing was done. My daughter had the chicken-fried steak, and she remarked how everything on her plate looked like it was microwaved from frozen. Probably true. I had the Northwest Skillet, which was only okay, nothing to recommend. And my husband had the fish and chips; the fish was okay, but the coleslaw was very coarse so he didn’t care for it. The food was only so-so, I understand the type of place this is so you don’t expect too much, but they really need to look at the acoustics in the room. The din was unbearable — to the point one could not have a conversation without shouting, and this made worse by the fact that the music was turned way up. Why such loud music in a restaurant? I used to come into Elmer’s for breakfast ages ago, but haven’t been here for over 20 years. I won’t be back. If you are looking for a better diner/coffee shop in Medford, go up 62 to Spicer’s in the shopping center with the Lowe’s and the Office Depot.

Food is always great. Brianna our server was very attentive. This place is so much better than our new Denny’s. And very friendly and will answer your questions. Hubby says the servers are cute lol. U leave full. I’m never disappointed. When I go there. I like Denny’s. But very expensive. I and hubby’s ticket was under 26.00 and the portions was huge. But where we sat had cold air blowing on us that was my only complaint.
