The duck, ribs, cauliflower, shrimp, bacon wrapped dates, and churros were all creative and fabulous! We went on a Thursday evening so the place was quiet and service very attentive. I can’t wait to go back!

Didn’t have anything we wanted, but only told us after we had ordered and waited a reasonable amount of time.

Get The Ribs. Seriously. GETTHERIBS! This is a great place! Perfect for a late-night snack! A good selection of wine and near-perfect service. We started with ceviche, good but a bit too oniony for my taste. If you like/love onions, I’m sure you’d love it. We had the ribs and the flat iron steak with that patatas(fried potatoes). The ribs were excellent and it was a very generous serving. The steak with morels(not sure if this was a special or a standard item) was very good with the morels being the«star» of the dish. A wider variety of menu options would be nice, but I’m fairly certain most folks will find enough things they’ll like. Getting five stars out of me is not easy, but they came very close. Will be back(this was actually my second visit).

Drinks wonderful, most of the food was awesome, didn’t care for the rabbit dish. The rabbit was flavorless and boring. I usually love rabbit. The Manchego bacon tapas was definitely a winner.

There were so many fun things to chose from. We will keep going back! The service and ambiance were top notch. This was our first time in Medford and we were very pleasantly surprised.

I have been here for drinks and appetizers over the years and always have enjoyed what I had but nothing that excited me enough to take time to write a review. My mom has been dying to try there Paella so last weekend we finally made it over. We split the beet salad and mushrooms to start. OMG the mushrooms were so good. The flavor was off the charts delicious. The salad was delicious as well. My mom had the spicy passion fruit drink, she liked it so much she had two! I had an excellent Bloody Mary but I was driving so I only had one. Our waiter(who was also making our drinks) was super awesome and we had a good time chatting with him. The paella was good and was plenty of food for two people and if you get appetizers too I would think you could easily get away with splitting it 4 ways. We were kinda full from our drinks and apps so we didn’t eat a ton of the paella but I think it was actually better the second day. We went with the seafood and you could tell everything was fresh and cooked perfectly. A bit expensive(mostly the drinks) for a every week place but always worth it for a special treat! I will be back for more!

Love their flights and emphasis on Spanish wines. Cool atmosphere, decent service. Good pricing. Menu is definitely limited to spendy small plates, which can add up quickly. But it’s definitely a great place to start a night out with some good wine and appetizers! I’ve come with friends before and brought my mom here when she was in town. Makes a good impression on all types.

Nice tapas. Best was the sardines de casa. Swordfish special was well executed. Great service. Well done cocktails but take it easy on the orange peel. You don’t need half an orange floating in your drink.

The last and only other time I’ve had tapas(was in DC) I didn’t care for it. It was unfilling, overpriced, underwhelming and faddish. If it weren’t for the good reviews, I wouldn’t have come to Elements. Now I will rave about tapas from here on out! Everything we tried, I liked. Here’s what we had: Bacon wrapped dates The flatbread with the lamb sausage Tortilla Espanola(Spanish omelet) Pork Empanadas Papas de Toro(braised oxtail with truffle oil) The hands down winning dishes at our table, and hence the ones you should try, were the Papas de Toro and the bacon wrapped dates. Funny thing is, I don’t like dates or the flavor of mushrooms. I’ll definitely be trying their other kinds of flatbread soon because the bread is so fluffy and good! Those five plates between the three of us left of comfortable but not overstuffed. The food at Elements has a refinement that makes you think you’re at a fine dining establishment. But it’s not priced that way. We each had two draft beers(the Spanish lager was too yummy to try anything else). The check split evenly was just under $ 30 a person. That’s not bad for great food and drink!

Elements is a nice, warm, cozy little spot nested in downtown Medford. While great atmosphere and service, the cocktail menu was disappointing, I have to admit; there was just nothing to trip my trigger … nothing handcrafted or infused … no mezcal(my FAV) … not really any exhibition-style cocktails with creative herbs sensations … stuff which I’ve grown so accustomed to in other cities across the West). However, Benny the bartender aims to please and is more than accommodating with anything you might like, including some tastes of wine. He’s terrific and there’s a nice local, Northwest wine selection. The food was solid(good not great). I had potatoes bravas and some mahi mahi(spice, salt, capers and tomato acidity overwhelmed the mild fish … and not really a good complement to the bitter spinach). I’d come back here for the service alone and try a few other items. Menu looked good.

Another excellent meal served up by the crew at elements. Went here for my bday dinner with my amazing wife and our best friends. They’d never been so it made it even more fun to order up a bunch of tapas and just chill and catch up over delectable bites. Eats for the night: –Calamari: delicious and lightly battered and lightly fried. We all agreed it needed more citrus, easy fix from waitstaff w lemon slices. Great dish nonetheless — Bacon wrapped dates stuffed with chorizo: great sweet flavor but was really hoping for the chorizo spiciness to come through. Definitely recommend trying if you’ve not tasted a date… Only way I like em. –Flat iron steak w tomato finishing butter: Having had it before I was confused on the presentation as it looked wayyyy different than past visits. Regardless… This was quickly devoured and the undisputed favorite of the night by all –Papas del toro: succulent, tender oxtail served over potatoes, opted for the poached eggs. I’ve been drooling over pics of this dish for awhile, and had yet to try it. Tonight was the night!!! Poached eggs were a bit overcooked, sadly no molten yolky goodness to ooze all over. But still Was my personal fav for this trip. –Duck confit: loved the squash mash with mustard seed paired with the dark duck drum(didn’t see this dish on their online menu, maybe it was a special for the night?, don’t remember, lol) –House paella: nice big sizzling dish of paprika doused rice, chorizo, shrimp, mussels, Mahi Mahi, calamari and chicken drums. Smoky, seafood flavors the whole dish, not overwhelmingly so… Great size to fill up the bellies with what room was left. –chocolate tart w vanilla ice cream: Oreo crust and dense chocolate tart makes cutting this lil guy a challenge but one we all pursued. Pretty sure it’s the same dessert I had last time, just renamed(was chocolate ganache cake before). Would have loved to see them w some sort of take on crème brûlée(maybe w lavender or ?) or use their horchata ice cream in an affogato. Either way you slice it, a nice kid free night was had with good food and drinks and great friends. Thanks elements crew!

Outstanding! First time here. Atmosphere is great, music not too loud, can carry on a convo just fine. Extremely friendly and helpful staff, HUGE selection of spirits, but the food was the winner! We had the bacon wrapped dates, Diablo prawns, patatas, and pork cheek and it was all amazing; cooked perfect, very flavorful. Can’t wait to come back to Medford just so I can have dinner here again! Thanks Element, and thanks for hanging on to my card after I left it.

This is gem in the Medford area! As I travel to Medford, OR on business several times a year, I make it a point to frequent this restaurant at least once on every trip. I love that this place consistently delivers and has yet to disappoint. They are excellent in both, the food and the drink areas. The staff are always friendly and willing to offer honest opinions about the menu offerings. Love, love, love Elements!

Stellar restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing, the food is good, and their wine flight is not to be missed. $ 9 for three big pours of wine?! I would suggest the Spanish wines but I know many people are loyal to the Oregon grapes… All the dishes I’ve tried here have been good, but must haves: papas del toro, paella, and cauliflower. The mushroom plate is also delicious. Go with a big party so you can order a lot of plates and try a little bit of everything. Small plates are not too pretentiously small. The paella takes 40 mins to make and I would recommend it only if you have 5 other people to share it with, as the portions are big. Definitely a go-to spot when in Medford!

Wow, wow, wow! This is a really great tapas place. I wish it was closer to home! Everything was great, from the arugala salad with candied pecans, through the green beans with wild mushrooms, bread, Spanish torta and fantastic ribs. They have a very nice wine and beer list. My wife enjoyed a Belgian lambic while I went for a glass of very nice local Temoranillo. The atmosphere was very pleasant, as was the service. All in all, a wonderful place to unwind after a long day of driving in the rain.

We moved to this area from Portland a while back. We are always searching for unique and delicious restaurants in this area. We found one! Excellent, unique and spicy dishes that we loved! Everything we ate we liked. We especially liked the prawns Diablo(if you love super spicy this is the dish for you) the mushrooms(forgot the name of the dish) and the Manchego phyllo dough dish. The paella could use some refining but still really good. Service was excellent, friendly and knowledgable. We are excited to go back. One of our top favorites here in Medford.

What a wonderful way to start a wine tasting tour of Oregon. Got in too late this evening to tour the local wineries. Found this gem on Unilocal.I had the flight of Oregon reds. Michelle the flight of Oregon whites. By far our favorite was the Rouge Valley, 2012 Tempranillo from Jaxon Vineyards. For me, I also liked the 2012 Kriselle Cellars Cabernet Sauvignon and the 2011 Folin Cellars Estate Syrah. Both of these are also from the Rouge Valley of South Oregon. So what about the food? Loved it! Especially the chorizo filled, bacon wrapped medjool dates. Awesome!!! Be careful of the Prawns Diablo however. They were much hotter than expected.
