Wonderful dinner. Had a little bit of a wait but Angel was great, food was tremendous and Australian lamb was very well prepared by new chef. My wife had a wonderful butternut squash well prepared — great breads and appetizers. Highly recommend sitting on balcony top floor. Very quaint and cosy. Historic building and very delighted it has stood test of time!

It might not be fair to judge a restaurant by the way they serve a banquet or buffet meal on a busy, crazy day, but Braddock’s Tavern made it easy. Spoiler alert, In a word, they«nailed» it! The basics — The main facility is rustic with low ceilings in places, crossed by wood beams. Cool! But for the buffet patrons, you cross through the clubby tavern and enter into their high-ceiling, cheerfully decorated and brightly lit dining hall. What? White table cloths and napkins at a buffet — tres chic! This was Thanksgiving so the buffet line(well stocked, never crowded) was filled with grandma’s comfort foods. Mashed and sweet potatoes(both excellent with the mashed scoring high marks with this diner) shared the line with green beans, vegetables lasagna, sausage stuffing, chicken with mushroom gravy and salmon Florentine. Whew! Of course, there was a soup and salad table — tomato bisque and maple butternut squash — both hot and delish! There were two types of salads. Regular green salad and Caesar with a good selection of restaurant quality dressing. Of course, there was a bread basket — alas, the only ordinary offering — the rolls were just Ok. The jewel in the crown was the carving station where a knife wielding chef — Blayze — deftly served up superbly roasted, turkey and wonderfully rare prime rib… Decisions decisions! Ha! I had a serving of both. Our waitress, Danielle, kept our soft drink glasses full and the used plates were whisked away as we finished each course. She was busy with lots of patrons to take care of but we never felt at a loss for her attention. She’s a keeper! The dessert table was well stocked with cookies, brownies, pumpkin pie, Apple cranberry Cobbler and my favorite, creamy cheese cake — one of the best I have ever eaten. The real surprise was the bowl of freshly made whipped cream. It made each dessert something special. The verdict? Braddock’s made our Thanksgiving meal a family feast. Highly recommended!

I love this main street that Braddock’s is located on. Walk inside to what feels like someone’s house with the fireplace going, it’s a very comfortable setting. Bar looked like it was to the left, but my mom and I got a table towards the kitchen on the right. The menu is comfort foods mixed in with some fun specialties here and there. Any place that basically has a ‘create your own mac & cheese’ can’t go wrong. My mom does not eat a lot, so she was happy to get a small Caesar salad with grilled chicken. She loved every bit of it, especially the dressing(which by the way, is a great way to judge a restaurant.) I started with the potato and poblano soup. Tasty! I myself would have made it smoother, but a few bites of the potato was nice with the poblano. The Meatloaf was my main dish. I rarely get meatloaf, but I was happy with this dish. First off– HUGE. The whipped potatoes were delicious, but the brussel sprouts could have been braised a few minutes longer. Everything was seasoned nicely though. Mom really wanted dessert, so I ended up taking half my meal home. We both were eyeing the apple cobbler. It was small, but packed with great flavor. I think a scoop of ice cream or something like that would have been a nice compliment to it. I’ll certainly be back to try more.

Went for happy hour only — and while apps and wine were very good, service was lacking. Kristy at the bar was lackluster at best, they seemed to have one happy hour menu that they kept taking and giving to the newest arrivals(really? Make copies!!) and while kristy said we were 7 min early for happy hour but she would honor the prices — she didn’t. Sorry for lack of customer service I cannot recommend and will not return.

Iit’s beautiful, it’s iconic to Medford, it’s covered in fairy lights but the food boring(it was, however, restaurant week so to be fair, menu was limited). It’s good-not exciting and very expensive for basic meals. Drink special was wonderful and fairly priced. There was a lot of talk at the tables(it’s basically an old house so you hear everything) about how it has new owners(again) and the quality has gone down significantly. The table talk basically said the same thing-they need to up the menu quality to match the menu prices. The staff was super accommodating and plentiful but a bit young and inexperienced for an upscale restaurant missing a lot of the service nuisances that earn 20% on a several hundred dollar bill.

Love Braddocks. They have a great beer on tap selection, friendly waitstaff, and great atmosphere. The food is fantastic. Their Mac and cheese is heavenly! Everyone always thinks Braddocks is pricy but their lunch specials are so reasonable, it is very easy to have a nice lunch either inside or outside on beautiful main street.

Braddocks is about as good as it gets in our area. We eat here maybe 6 to 8 times a year, and have been doing so for at least a decade now. It’s kind of our go-to restaurant for when we are looking for high quality food but do not want to drive all the way in to Collingswood or Cherry Hill. Their menu is eclectic American style and the atmosphere can be either very intimate or very casual, depending upon where you request seating. It’s nice to sit outside and have a few beers on the porch or along the sidewalk during the summer months. I am not agreeing with the $$ price rating, unless you order off the bar menu. A typical bill for two people ordering dinner entrees and drinks is $ 90+ after tax and tip. In my book, that is a $$$ rating.

Great service, from the bartenders to the waiters to the managers. Cold tap beer, friendly patrons, clean restrooms. One of our visits, we really enjoyed dining upstairs in this historic building. Try the mac and cheese and a cold tap Guinness! You’ll be hooked!

3 stars for my entrée which was the only thing that tasted good out of the whole meal. I had the meatloaf, it was a large portion and the sauce was really delicious. The mashed potatoes were lukewarm, too thick and not tasty. Their mac and cheese is delicious. There is one word to describe the rest of our meal.bitter. My friend ordered the coriander scallops. Dried out, rubbery, low quality scallops and black roasted dried out and bitter cauliflower. He couldn’t finish it.

Outstanding waitstaff and bartenders. Great lunch menu that changes weekly. I always order the Braddock’s Salad before lunch or dinner. Braddocks is the type of long established, welcoming tavern/restaurant that you imagine every small town should have.

Braddock’s Tavern is consistently amazing! This is always my go to spot for lunch and Happy Hour in Medford. The food is fabulous, the atmosphere is lovely & the service is always professional and attentive. I had my sister’s baby shower here(in the upstairs room) which is elegant & is like an art gallery. Everything about it was perfect! It exceeded all of my expectations!

This DOG-FRIENDLY place has outdoor seating, great food, and most importantly, great SERVICE. We brought our 85 pound dog(on a leash) there and right away, the servers were greeting her, petting her, and talking to us about her. We had to sit outside, obviously, but we were expecting that, anyway. It’s a great place to sit outdoors and enjoy your meal. Before we barely got settled at our table, the manager comes outside and brings our dog a dish of ice water. So thoughtful! The food was delicious, too. Their burgers were seasoned well and a nice size. Their home made potato chips were fresh and hot. A little spicy, they had old bay seasoning on them. A little more bacon on the burger would’ve been great, but it was still a yummy burger. Their pork tostadas appetizer was great. One more chip would have been preferred, but it was still a nice enough size for an app. The Flirtini cocktail was perfect on a hot day. Chilled and a little sweet! We can’t wait to go back and it’s nice to know that we don’t have to leave the dog at home.
