Peking Wok Chinese Restaurant

Whee do I begin… the «4» stars it garnered when I looked it up earlier had to be from the three people cooking, and the little boy who apparently lives in the front.
I hazard a guess the Saratoga County Health inspector has either fallen ill, or is on the take because from what we witnessed this evening, concerns with a clean restaurant or cooking didn’t exist. Simply terrible.
The food — lets just cut to the chase and call it marginally better than the canned stuff you would buy in the oriental section of Walmart… Horrendous, flavorless, greasy, and just plain wrong. When the food makes you long for The End Zone, something has gone gone horribly awry…
If you find yourself in McVille, stuck on Park avenue and starved… as difficult as it is to fathom, there are better choices…

There aren’t a lot of choices for places to eat in Mechanicville. This place was decent as far as the quality of the food and the general service.

As far as I am concerned this is the only place you should order Chinese food in the city of Mechanicville. I’ve been coming here since I was a kid and the food has been always consited, fresh and hot. I always go with a combination platter which includes pork fried rice and a egg roll. I have gotten the General Tso’s chicken, broccoli with chicken, and chicken lo mein. Also their fried won ton is the awesome. The portions are perfect too because I always have enough to bring for lunch the next day.

Decent tasting quick Chinese food for takeout or eat in, located next to the Yankee One Dollar in the Price Chopper Plaza.
I’ve ordered takeout from the Peking Wok several times over the years. It’s an open kitchen with a few tables for eating in. The 34 Lunch Specials ($ 3.75-$ 4.75 plus tax) served Mon-​Sat (11AM-​3PM) come with roast pork fried rice and the 34 All Day Combination Platters ($ 5.75-$ 6.75 plus tax) come with roast pork fried rice and egg roll. The Shrimp Lo Mein and General Tso’s chicken are my favorites and no MSG is used. There are also healthy steamed menu options too.
