Who would’ve guessed you could get fresh made pasta in lil ‘olé downtown Mechanicville? We’ve tried the plain, lemon pepper and roasted garlic fettuccines. Loved them all. Butternut squash ravioli was also delicious dressed with a little brown butter, sage and parmesan. The sopressata and provolone scones are awesome and the tasty little cannolis are filled to order(YAY for doing it right!) with a delicious filling that isn’t overly sweet. I believe they are cutting pasta to order now so you can do fettucine, spaghetti, lasagna sheets, etc. They often have bread and tomato pie from Perreca’s and small assortment of jarred sauces and other Italian groceries and fresh made sauces in the cold case now as well. Although I’ve not tried any of them yet, they offer a few yummy sounding sandwiches and an assortment of Italian cookies. The folks that run it are just lovely. It’s always a pleasure to stop in and grab some dinner and there’s always something I haven’t seen in previous visits.
