The food my sister ordered from here was nasty. We were not pleased and didn’t bother to complain to management because we won’t be going back. The Egg Foo Young was fried hard, the rice was dry, the gravy was dark and tasteless, the Cashew Chicken had whole pieces of vegetables and the chicken was stringy. The egg rolls with the combo plates were dry, fried hard and stale. This was a delivery service.

Of all the Chinese restaurants we’ve tried — we always come back to China Wok. Fast friendly service and the food is always spot on.

Hands down the best Chinese takeout joint around. I have tried countless Chinese places in richmond and this one still holds the crown for quality of food and service. Been coming here since 2010. The beef fried rice is moist and absolutely amazing with extra onions. Most Chinese places serve overly cooked rice thats hard and unenjoyable. General tso’s is good and has a nice crunch and spice to it. It’s not just sogged out sweet and sour chicken like most places I’ve had. All in all just a great place to eat.

Of all the Chinese restaurants I have tried in the area, this one is by far my favorite. I have yet to order anything that didn’t taste excellent. I have tried egg rolls, steamed dumplings, sweet & sour chicken, moo goo gai pan, and veggie lo mein. They definitely do moo goo gai pan soooo much better than anyone else in the area that I’ve tried. Their veggie lo mein has soft, non-​greasy noodles and crunchy, fresh veggies. Their portion sizes are big and their prices are cheap. AND online ordering? It’s perfect! Luckily, my fiancé works in Mechanicsville so he picks us up take-​out on his way home from work sometimes. So, the only downside is we don’t get to enjoy this place on the weekends since we live in Richmond and don’t feel like driving out to Mechanicsville to get it.

The place is certainly not beautiful on the inside, but the staff is friendly and quick, the prices are extremely reasonable and the food was good. I like it that they give you 8 dumplings in an order and the sauce was good. They also had some dishes, like Singapore Mai Fun that you don’t see everywhere, and the portion was huge. I think this is my go to chinese carryout.

I have gotten delivery from here. They are very fast and the food was good. It was a good price also. I would recommend this place.
