Great place for lunch and breakfast and lunch. I’m giving it a 4 star because the first day we ate it took ½ hour before we were helped and another 35 – 40 minutes for our food. One guy was working all the tables and seemed overwhelmed. The guest next to us had to hunt him down just to pay the bill. With that said the food was good and we did go back the next day for breakfast and it was very good and the server was very friendly. I’ll definitely go back again. To be honest they are just about the only game in that area unless you want McDonalds or go into downtown McMinnville.

We often go here for breakfast. Good stuff! They get forgotten because they are not right down town. They do a great job. Give them a try!

Was visiting Corvallis and heard I needed to check this place out. Got the Sunday Dinner which was a salad, mashed potatoes, Brussels sprouts, meat loaf, and a slice of pie with ice cream served family style, all for about $ 14. Everything was exceptionally delicious, far better than what you’d expect from its unassuming exterior. Great selection of local beers as well!

First visit and came based on reviews. It was really good. Service so friendly and atmosphere peaceful and not hurried or stressed. Our party of 4 had the fried chicken sandwich, BLT, hamburger and a breakfast omelette. Everyone loved their choices. The homemade bread was delicious. All ingredients were fresh and they smoke and cure their own bacon and ham. Homemade berry pie topped the whole meal! Well done Diner! We live in Newberg and will definately return!

I love this place. Great food, quality ingredients, and great service. Love coming to breakfast here. It has all the diner comfort foods without feeling like you are eating crappy ingredients.

French toast and hash were both awesome. Happenstance find for us and it worked out great. Breakfast plates for about $ 10. High quality and fresh. Highly recommended!

Made it here for Breakfast this weekend after wanting to try due to the great reviews I have read. we were not disappointed at all. From the super great staff and service to the food! The most important thing was the chicken fried steak. My husbands favorite breakfast dish is chicken fried steak, but it is extremely hard to find a place that makes a decent one that he likes! I about fell out of my chair when he took his first bite and he got the grin. you know the one… where he just had to admit it was delicious. The waitress promised it would be and she was right! I ordered eggs Benedict. they were tastey… but a tiny bit too soggy for my taste. all good though no worries. Another positive that may seem unimportant but to us it was not. the orange juice was great. We love our OJ to have lots of pulp and this did. It was all around good quality. It is all too typical to go out to breakfast and the orange juice is junk. Thanks for a great Sunday breakfast out! I want to go back and try their dinner or lunch now.

We arrived just after lunch and were greeted promptly and were taken to a table right away. Looking around, the side booths full, but only a couple along the large wall of windows I wondered why we got seated on the inside by the slatted wall next to the restrooms??? I asked to get the table in the corner of the large windows. The server had no problem with this and said it was the bet seat in the house… ok, well then why did he not seat us there in the first place??? I ordered the Fried Chicken Club. which was one of the best sandwiches I have had in a long time, along with the house side salad. I ordered the house vinaigrette dressing. I kept steering it but all I could taste was oil. I tried to like it but it had no flavor. My husband ordered the hamburger with added pulled pork along with a side salad. It was his choice to add the pulled pork the burger but in the end didn’t think that it was a wise choice of the two flavors together. Two sandwiches and one beer cost up over $ 40. $ 20 each for lunch. A little steep.

Yum! Not only is the food amazing but the staff here is friendly and knowledgeable. We shared the eggs benedict. Hands down best benedict I have ever had! The hollandaise was creamy and rich and the in house smoke ham was unbelievable! We had delicious bloody marys to wash it down! Coe here! Eat and drink! You won’t be sorry!!!

The fries are amazing. I’d come back just for them. But the service, other food, and décor is all great too. I especially appreciate that the food is all locally sourced. I just wish it was in a little closer in section of town.

This is a perfect little diner right down the street from the airplane museum!!! It is located in a hotel parking lot but don’t let that deter you… this place has a great look and modern vibe and puts out some great classics with a modern twist! We had the fried chicken sandwich and the classic reuben which were both recommended by our server. Both were well made, fresh to order. The reuben was made with beef brisket which was perfectly seasoned. Both sandwiches were pretty big– They offer full and half sandwiches and next time I will get the half. We also got tots with each sandwich that were crunchy and perfect. If I hadn’t eaten my whole sandwich I would have gone for some of their pie. They also have brownies and cookies. This place has a breakfast menu I can’t wait to go back and try as well as I overheard the server talking about their 3 course Sunday supper which made me want to eat again. Great affordable spot and good service– we will be back soon!

Listened to the Unilocalers and decided to stop here for lunch on the way back from the coast. Oh so glad we did! As a Bloody Mary expert, I can tell you – that has got to be one of the best spicy marys I have ever had. Like, ever. The service(Julius) was wonderful, and everything our table ordered, from the Cuban to the linguine to the burger and the grilled cheese – was excellent. Best dish at the table was the fried chicken club, which was flawless. We will be back, and we’re hoping to try a Sunday Supper. What an awesome find! Can’t wait to eat there again!

Stopped in for dinner with the family. Pleasantly surprised! The kids grilled cheese was quality and huge! And the fresh fruit was delicious peaches and honeydew. My pasta was also yummy! I wish there was one of these in Duvall, WA(where we live) I would be here all the time! The service was also wonderful and you can’t beat the prices

Ordered the fried chicken club with a side of fries. Sandwich came out piping hot and everything about the meal was made correctly per my preferences. Fries were crispy, bread was soft but still had a slight crunch. The man at the register was extremely friendly. I had ordered to-go but he still offered me a seat and glass to enjoy my ginger beer(I advise getting the ginger beer if you are a fan of ginger ale). Overall great experience.

Wow! This place is a hidden gem, and surprisingly unknown. My husband and I were so happy with our meal, everything was made from scratch using high quality ingredients. I would hardly consider this typical diner fare, the food served here is something to expect from an upscale bistro only more affordable. The restaurant was very clean and kid friendly as well, they have a cupboard of games to keep the little ones entertained. Our server was very friendly and helpful with the menu. The Diner is located next to the Comfort Inn close to the Evergreen Aviation Museum… needless to say we will be back!

Portion to Price-for-Quality Issue We came in to give this place a try. This address has been a few different places over the last several years; we were hoping this place would last. After our meal we left concerned for The Diner’s longevity. What we ordered had us leaving unsatisfied. I ordered a spaghetti plate. It came, and seemed scant for the price. Boiled down spaghetti noodles with a meatless red sauce. Yum? Oh, and, somebody took a deli slice of provalone, cut it in half, and rested it on top of the spaghetti upon serving. There was also a small slice of sourdough toast on the edge– not like a basket with several pieces.(I took a picture; the spoon and fork in the bowl shows the portion size) I thought it was expensive at $ 8.00 for what it really was. From the store it would be: 0.30 cents — Dried spaghetti noodles 0.88 cents — 1⁄3 jar Ragu vegetarian pasta sauce 0.18 cents — small slice of sourdough, lightly buttered 0.19 cents — 1 slice Kraft provalone deli pack cheese Now, I know there are huge expenses in running a restaurant. You don’t pay your bills and pay for labor without first making a profit. Profit is not a dirty word. My point is, that for what seems to be $ 1.55 worth of ingredients, the quantity could have been more generous; or, for the price, the quality could have been improved greatly: maybe a chunkier fresh sauce, or nicer breads, or a hard Italian cheese option. That would have made me feel better about my stomach and my wallet.
