Subway is awesome and the people here are nice. The line moves quite fast. That all said, it is worth noting how awful the parking is here. I haven’t even tried parking in Subway’s parking lot for years because of how awful it is getting in and out of here. Several times we have pulled in only to have to back up around a tight curve because another car is trying to get out as we are trying to get in. The parking spaces themselves are very narrow and backing in and out of a parking space is very unpleasant as there isn’t much room for error. Just a big warning! We usually park at the building next door, which has its own disadvantages. The spots there are reserved for patrons of the other building and once Mom and I were screamed at by a customer as we returned to our car with Subway sandwiches. However, we have never been towed from there, and the risk of another screaming match is well worth the benefit of avoiding Subway’s parking lot — it is one of the worst I have ever been in!

This is the Subway I always go to. This is the exchange I always have… without fail. ME: I’d like a foot-long ham on Italian. SUBWAYGUY: What would you like on it? ME: Olives and pickles ONLY. That’s it. SUBWAYGUY: Anything else on it? No dressing? Awesome.

I frequented this Subway while I was growing up in McLean. I also used them when I had to cater lunches for various events. Always reliable and pretty efficient in regards to time. At lunch the line can be out the door, but they move at a decent pace. Clean, organized, and completely competent at fulfilling orders. The only downside can be the parking: the lot attached is small and always crowded, and the street parking is very limited.
