Three and a half, KRAZE is not«fast» or so they claim, I guess that means they aren’t a typical frozen burger never fresh type of place because my food came out pretty quick! The burger itself? Looks delicious, fresh moist bun, just chopped LTO, and perfectly melted cheese. The burger meat, did taste freshly made, however it was a little over cooked, not complaining since I did say«medium-well», I’ll know next time. I gotta say, all the fixings is what made this burger along with the ketchup-mayo I dipped it into! This is one of the better«healthy-non-GMO-gluten free-it’s good for you» burger joints that popped up and I’d be willing to try it again over other contenders if I were near it again in Tyson’s. This may not be a Shake Shack, but it’s quality food that has a few redeeming qualities about it that can make it stick out from the rest.

Their meat is good, lots of flavors for burgers, and decent fries, but nothing stands out. I’ll probably be back because there are so few lunch options in Tysons II, but not too frequently.

I’m a fan of Kraze(or «ezarK», as my bf calls them due to their logo) and can’t seem to get enough after a full day of spending my hard earned cash at Karen Millen, Stewart Weitzman, Hugo Boss, and Coach. It’s becoming my go-to place in the Galleria for a quick, easy counter-service meal fix! ezarK offers all kinds of healthy protein choices like tofu, veggie patty, chicken, and turkey, but I come for the hand formed, grain-finished, premium Angus beef from a single source! I’ll never amend my carnivorous habits, Jimmy Buffet – so there. I always order mine medium and skip the home-baked buns for a bowl of greens! Whatever your preference, your burger is custom tailored to order. ezarK’s toppings are extensive, but many of my favorite combinations are already listed on the menu – I love the KS spicy sauce burger, the original, the Hawaiian(with a sweet chunk of grilled pineapple and melted Swiss) and the Bulgogi Burger – featuring thin slices of rib eye marinated in a Sesame & Soy sauce, topped with Swiss cheese! I’ve not seen a Bulgogi Burger offered anywhere else! Fries are the shoestring variety and have always been warm, fresh, and crisp on the outside! Prices are about what you expect for the new genre of gourmet customized burgers with premium ingredients and pretty reasonable for Tyson’s II.

Overall Kraze Burger is just … Ok ! I have definitely had better turkey burger patties before. Everything is made fresh in the back. So never frozen, well so they say. Haha. I had a Turkey Burger on a Multigrain bun and fixings. I also had sweet potato fries. The turkey burger patty was not seasoned. The bun was actually pretty good. On the other hand the sweet potato fries were actually probably the best thing. They didn’t have any cinnamon or sugar on them but they were tasty with ketchup. Kraze wasn’t horrible but I would recommend going to another restaurant for at least a GOOD burger. Amazing would be awesome but I can deal with at least good. They were just ok.

We had a burger bash last night with a bunch of friends and bought burgers from Kraze Burger along with a couple of burger joints in Tysons Corner Mall, BGR and Shake Shack. Kraze’s burger held up the best, despite the fact that we picked these burgers up first. Their beef was cooked to how we ordered, and overall, the burgers flavorful and the right amount of juicy. Not enough to soil the bun through and through, but not dry either. Their sweet potato fries are also pretty good. Well worth a trip if you want some good burgers and want to avoid some of the Tysons Corner mall craziness.

Sliders, Spicy and Original Cheese. — Over all very good. Bread, condiments and cheese flavors were awesome. Beef Horrible. Hard, dry and cooked beyond recognition. Even with the crappy meat it was a very good sandwich.

I decided to try Kraze Burger since I happened to be in Tysons II. I must say that it’s a hidden gem here. I suspect that part of the reason that it’s in Tysons II and not I is because of the price and the fact that it boasts quality and premium ingredients over fast food service.(Tysons II is the more upscale an luxury mall on Tysons.) The average burger is about $ 7.50. Nevertheless, I don’t mind the price because the burgers are huge and the portions of the sides are large as well. They offer the option of beef, turkey, veggie, and tofu burgers. Additionally, the menu includes salads, chicken sandwiches, hand cut fries, sweet potato fries, onion rings, Parmesan fries, chili fries, and grilled asparagus! Whew! I opted for the Hawaiian Veggie burger which included a grilled pineapple and Swiss cheese. I found the bean-based burger to be extremely well-seasoned and very moist. The Parmesan fries were kinda a let down. Don’t get me wrong their hand-cut fries are great — not too greasy and freshly cut. But they only sprinkle a little bit of Parmesan cheese and herbs leaving the fries somewhat blah. :-(this is extremely disappointing especially since there is almost a $ 0.75 difference in these and the price if regular fries. Nevertheless, I would highly recommend the spot if you are in the area. Great cheap and trendy day or outing.

4-star burgers, 1-star milkshakes. Kinda pricey, but that’s Tysons 2 for ya. I’ll be back to try other burgers. I went for the bulgogi burger and really enjoyed it. The only criticism I can offer is that the onions were a bit too overpowering, so if I order it again I might leave those off. Otherwise, a lot to like here: soft, buttery bun, made to order beef, crunchy veggies, and sweet/salty pickles. HOWEVER… After my burger, which I ate a la cart(no fries, no nothin’, that’s how I roll), I decided a milkshake would hit the spot, so I went back up to the counter and ordered my go-to shake flavor, vanilla. I paid and walked out, starting to sip. I got about halfway to the escalators before I turned around and walked back for a refund. I wanted a thick, rich, and creamy end to my meal. What I got was milky, thin, and lacking vanilla flavor. McDonald’s makes a better shake. While I’m complaining – 50 cents extra for hot sauce or teriyaki? That makes me kind of annoyed.

There are many intriguing things that pull you into Kraze burger. But there are also many things that keep it from being entirely enjoyable. It deserves 4-stars because it doesn’t do anything wrong. But it’s also 4-stars with an asterisk because of the things that keep it from truly being a superb place. Here’s why: Kraze is located within Tyson’s Galleria, among other places that are great for a shopping mall. A specialty burger place inside the mall? Sure beats the usual 5 Guys right? The glass storefront and trendy décor of the restaurant is enticing. I read some reviews on Unilocal while laying in our room at the Ritz and was immediately convinced by their menu. Bulgogi burger with fried egg? Yes, please. The menu, convenient location(if you’re already in the mall) and the creative twist on the casual burger place are great. But now the things that prevent it from a better score. The ladies running the counter were just plain odd. They were nice. Please don’t get me wrong. But in an odd kind of way. I had a hard time understanding one of them, not because of an accent but more because of the lack of enunciation. The compliments she gave my wife were also nice but slightly strange. Overall, the service here is just a stark departure from what you may be used to in the Galleria. Nothing really wrong here. There was no soap in the men’s room. No soap in a salad place? Fine, I’ll endure until the next place if I just need to wash my hands. Burger place? Soap is a must for me. We both got the bulgogi burger with fried egg. All the food is prepared fresh off the grill. Believe me. My first bite was welcomed by an explosion of grease and sauce onto my hand, resulting in probably the worst food-related burn I’ve ever experienced. I’m not factoring this into the score since this could happen to anyone, anywhere. The burger was good but not in a restaurant kind of way. When I get a burger at a restaurant, I expect something different than a burger made at home. This tasted more like a burger made at home… which should be great! And it was a great burger, which was amazingly crafted. But for some reason, it left me a bit disappointed, especially since I was so intrigued by the idea of a Korean-inspired burger. Finally, even though the interior is creative, I couldn’t help but think that it was a forced mix of several elements. Imagine a university student center /pool hall /frozen yogurt bar. It’s an odd juxtaposition. Again, nothing wrong here. If you’re in the mood for a burger and are in the Galleria. Give it a shot. It’s a nice place with nice food. Just don’t get too hyped. Kraze is what it is and nothing more.

While roaming around Tysons Galleria, my husband was hungry so we decided to check out Kraze Burger. I remembered a sign months ago that this place was opening up, so I was pretty excited in checking them out. Kraze hand-forms their meat and swears that they never freeze it. They also offer alternatives to beef, such as veggie options, and offer a variety of specialty toppings(like grilled pineapples, bleu cheese, etc.). The menu looked delicious, such as their Spicy, Bulgogi, the Hawaiian, and mini sliders. My husband ordered the Create-Your-Own, in a form of a lettuce wrap, that came with a beef patty, ketchup, tomato, white onions, and fresh jalapenos. I liked the fact that the ‘condiments’ were separate in their little containers. He also liked the mayo/ketchup that had a hint of paprika that was available for the burgers as well as for the fries. The hand-cut fries were also stated to be quite good. I had a Ito En Ito green tea, and it was nice to see other variety of bottled drinks besides the soda fountain. Once you order, they give you a number stand; they deliver the food for you and then they also clean up afterwards. The vibe of this place was kind of modern-ish, and the staff were nice and friendly.

I wasn’t sure what to expect after reading the reviews, but I was pleasantly surprised by how good the food was. I ordered a KBBBQ with chili cheese fries, and my friend ordered a KB Spicy. The burgers were cooked just the right amount(a little pink), and plenty juicy. The Spicy burger had some heat, but wasn’t overwhelming. I was particularly happy with the chili fries; there was a good size portion of chili, with onions and cheese, and it wasn’t soggy at all. I see complaints about the prices, but ~$ 11 for a burger, fries and a drink isn’t out of line for a high end burger restaurant, and I’ve eaten worse at similar places. It’s rather surprising to have a burger joint tucked into the corner of a very upscale mall; it doesn’t seem like a good fit for the demographic. They weren’t busy at all on a Saturday afternoon, and I’d think they would do better in a different location.

Stopped by again. Had the spicy burger with a fried egg and chili cheese fries. Nothing impressive. The spicy was burger was more sweet then anything else. Disappointed especially with the low meat to toppings ratio

Dropped in again and we had two burgers. The spicy burger and the Bulgogi with a fried egg. The spicy burger was a little boring. I would not ever order this one again. The bulgogi burger was the breakout star. How did I not know about this one??? Sliced beef with some sweet sauce piled into a bun! Way more flavor and texture than a traditional burger and the only way I will ever roll at Kraze. Apparently a little polarizing after reading other reviews, but you need to try it and make your own mind up on this one. Of note, the fried egg looks more like a bun diameter flat omelet. If you want a fried egg runny, you have to specifically ask for that. They will also cook burgers medium on request, this is a good idea.

Please don’t judge me, BUT I prefer my burgers cooked Medium Well, so I was disappointed to find out that my burger was Medium Rare. Sadly, we ordered carry out and did not want to brave the weather in order to get a new burger… so I just ate it anyways. It wasn’t anything special and I also thought the bun was too buttery(personal preference) I think they skimped/forgot my kraze sauce because I did not taste anything on my burger. I originally ordered the sliders, but they ran out of small buns :/I think we will stick to our usual burger places.

Quick, but not so friendly service yesterday. The cashier and our server was very aloof and was in no mood to be helpful or answer my questions. I ordered the K. Onion burger and my husband tried the Bulgogi. He said the Bulgogi burger tasted more like a cheese steak and wasn’t happy with his choice. I really like my Onion burger. The oat/wheat bun, lettuce, and tomato were fresh. The onion ring was perfectly crispy, but I couldn’t even taste the BBQ sauce. Had I been able to taste the sauce, this burger would be just like the Western Bacon Cheeseburger from Carl’s Jr. — which is one of my favorite West Coast burgers. :)

It’s not great, yet It’s not horrible. This is a true definition of a mediocre burger. Between the KB Original and Kraze Spicy burger, I would order the KB Original next time. The Spicy burger had this sauce that was: A) Not spicy, and B) The burger patty was drenched in it. But on a positive note, the Sweet Potato Fries were just lovely! They were thin, yet they were able to be slightly crispy on the outside and still soft and sweet on the inside. And the sweetness from the sweet potatoes was not overpowering and I ended up eating every crumb.

Well, we weren’t planning on eating here but Maggianos next door had a 2 hour wait so we walked right in here for a nice burger. I’m so glad we did too. They have such an eclectic menu. You can order a regular burger to a tofu burger that is actual tofu patties(which worked out great for my vegan husband). They also have a bulgogi burger which looked really good at the table next to us. I tried the beef patty burger with my choice of fixings & enjoyed their onion rings with a side of regular potato fries. All delish! You can even get a fried egg as a topping(extra $ of course). The burger was very juicy so extra napkins are a must. My husband had the tofu patty & he loved it. I will try the bulgogi burger if I ever am back in the Tysons area. All in all. Lots of burger choices, lots of toppings, & their sides are amazing & they offer milkshakes. If you love burger joints, you will love Kraze.

We decided to give Kraze Burger a try to see if it lived up to the hype. When we arrived there it was on a Saturday shortly before 5 p.m. and were surprised to see that it was doing a brisk business. That said, there were still tables available. Before going, we looked at the menu online so when we got there we knew what we wanted. There were 2 cashiers at the counter and both were busy but it didn’t take long for one of them to take our order. The cashier we got was friendly and he was very familiar with their offerings. My husband ordered the«KB-original». This burger consists of «charbroiled beef patty, American cheese, tomatoes, onions, lettuce, mayo, Kraze sauce and pickles» For his side, he chose onion rings. I did a «My burger», which basically is a create your own burger. I got the original roll, American cheese, charbroiled beef patty, lettuce, tomatoes, grilled onions, bacon and a fried egg. For my side, I chose fries. With a burger and a side, you get a soda fountain drink as part of the cost. All this cost $ 25 + change. We were given a number to take to our table. When our food was ready(in about 5 – 10 minutes), it was brought to us. As for the burgers —when we ordered, we were asked how we wanted them cooked. We both said«medium» but what we got was well done. To which I say, why bother to ask if you can’t/won’t deliver? So, the burgers were on the dry side. My husband said that the Kraze sauce was like sweetened watered-down ketchup. Nothing to him stood out as having that wow factor. The egg on my burger was hard-cooked. It would have been nice if it was less so as it would have given some moisture and flavor to the burger. The only topping on my burger that really stood out was the grilled onions as they gave some good flavoring to it. The onion rings could have been better. When you bite into them, the onion slides right out of the batter. We both liked the fries better as they held up well, had good flavor and weren’t dried out. So…we don’t regret going but on the other hand, we’re in no rush to return. Next time we’re at the Galleria, we’ll eat elsewhere.

3.5 stars. Not sure I’m a fan yet, but definitely a good burger… and better than a-okay. Honestly, the Groupon helped. Not sure I could get myself to come back to pay full price though. I got the KBBQ burger and it was good. My wife got the bulgogi burger and I thought it was a bit sweet. We will be back with more Groupons. Hopefully by then, we’ll determine whether this is worth full price or not.
