Regretful.
Nothing like the fond memories of Panda Express.
Don’t get me wrong. I had really low expectations when I walked up to this Charlie Chiang’s station at Tysons Corner Center Food Court.
Charlie Chiang’s Kwai not only failed to live up to the really low expectations (for fast food Chinese), but was horrible.
The expectedly over-cooked noodles had no flavor other than saltiness, the fried rice was simply bad, general tso’s chicken was made with old chicken pieces, and the bean curd with vegetables was bland.
For about $ 8 with tax, do yourself a favor and walk over to the Five Guys counter and get a bacon cheese burger with all the toppings you want.
