Ehhh, this place is hit or miss. I’ve been here sometimes and had great help, and others I’m begging someone to help me and the line for the one open register is insane. In this case I arrived looking for a replacement Dewalt battery for my drill and was told by a guy they«didn’t carry it». I told him I was pretty sure they did and asked where the Dewalt stuff was and he pointed me in that direction. They did, in fact, carry the replacement batteries however one of them was open, literally laid out on the shelf. The other had clearly been purchased, cut open, used, and then returned. Lowe’s had used clear packing tape to reseal the package, and these were the only two batteries. Since I needed it, I at least took the one that had been«tested» when it was returned and was given a discount on the item. I was surprised that no one had even noticed the tampered with merchandise, and the guy didn’t seem concerned by it? Whatever, I got my battery. I just suggest you check your packaging carefully for anything you purchase.

This is my goto Lowes. I think they have a great selection of stuff at a good price. If they don’t have it, I shop Home Depot as they carry different brands of stuff. Can’t find it at Lowes, go to Home Depot!

3 stars because they had what I needed, but not any more due to customer service in the paint department. They have plenty of staff to be able to care for customers, but I felt like I had to bother someone to get paint mixed or ask a question. At the paint counter, me and other customers were standing and waiting to get paint mixed while 2 staff members were behind the counter ignoring us. It took one outgoing man to get their attention and get us some help. It’s not like the staff and politely said they would be with us in a moment. Then, I asked for the ultra paint, yet received the premium expensive paint I didn’t need. When the paint was done, they just put to someone on the counter and didn’t let the waiting customer know it was ready. So, we all waited twice as long as we needed to because we didn’t know our paint was done until someone figured out their secret pile of done items. Just an annoying visit to lowes. Hopefully next time will be better. The tool guys tend to be helpful and nice. Maybe the paint people will learn from them.

Kids in lumber were goofing around when I asked for some cuts. They seemed very unhappy when I asked for help. Yes the job got done but I worry about HS kids working a dept like lumber.

i bought a microwave oven combo and a boshe gas cooktop. I had them install it. They charged me an extra $ 300 to cut the tile to install the cooktop. When he went to install, he said i will not charge you if i don’t have to cut it. He ended up spending 5 minutes cutting the tile and charged me the $ 300. Lowes called me to see if i was satisfied and i told them that i was not. I spoke with Lenisha and she said she would call the installer and call me back. That was a week ago and never called me back. I spent $ 4300 with lowes and expected a little better service than what i got…

very helpful staff — i came across the floor manager a few times and he walked with me to the products that i was asking for. also, rebekah is a very very patient, nice, and helpful associate. she sat with my wife for(what seemed) like a very very long time to explain the different options for blinds. we recently received the quotes and will follow up on the quality of the installation and product.

I’m still a fan. I’ve had some installations done in my home and purchased even more stuff — all with no complaints thus far. In addition to consuming goods, I took my niece and nephew to one of their weekend kiddie workshops where the kids are set up to participate in an arts and crafts hour. There were tons of children there — all ages. They worked at their table or on the floor huddled with parents to make their toy/complete their project. No need to bring anything other than the kids’ eagerness. Lowes provides any tools and even gives the kids aprons and badges. Pretty cool.
