I have been going to the McDonough location for years, I really liked Dr. Modi and NP Christina. However, I just went back for the first time after major staff changes and it is no longer a good office. While the facilities are still nice and the hours and location are convenient… that’s about it. The wait time before I even got called back was 45 minutes after my appointment time. The time spent getting a quick look over and some lab specimens taken was an hour and the NP who was the overseeing medical professional did not take time to discuss lab reporting procedures, expected time of results, nothing. I had to call the office to leave a message to have her call back and speak to me, which was not done until the next day. I was told that it would be days for results that I used to get a much more definitive answer on from the staff before I even left my appointment, now they will not give any advice and tell you to simply wait until results to begin any treatment for relief of symptoms. Lastly, the staff congregate and discuss cases loudly at the back desk. As you walk around from the scale to exam room to restroom to lab draw, etc. you can hear them discussing current/past patients, while no names are mentioned it still seems vastly unprofessional to be discussing it where anyone can hear. You can hear absolutely everything said at that desk if you are waiting in one of the nearby exam rooms.

Love this place. I have been to a few doctors here in McDonough that I didn’t like. At liveOn, from the nurses to the doctors everyone is friendly, helpful, caring, and considerate. I have been in many times. The office is super clean and modern. They offer water to patients and appointments on same day. My doctor told me he was interested in not just treating me with medication, but he was interested in making me well again. I am now well after coming here. As a patient you can check all your medical information, lab result, medication on their online portal. You can even send a message to your doctor. I get my labs done in office. I heard they have a nutritionist on site too. Glad I came here and very thankful.

Worst service ever. Came in on Wednesday of this week covered in what I thought was hives. The doctor took one look from across the room and diagnosed an allergic reaction and sent me home with a steroid cream. At the pharmacy the pharmacist made mention that it looked like shingles. Hmm. Interesting. For the next 48 hours I have been in excruciating pain mixed with horrible itching. Went back to the pharmacy to ask about something to relieve the itching and pain. The second pharmacist said that I needed to go back to the doctor because it is undoubtedly shingles and that a steroid cream is the worst thing for it. Went directly back to LiveOn. They close at 1pm and I arrived at noon. I explained to the intake nurse/receptionist that I had previously been seen and needed a follow up because it had gotten worse. (Keep in mind this is a walk in clinic) She says«we don’t have time to see you». I explain again that I was previously seen and that if it IS shingles… The medicine prescribed to me is the worst thing for me. She walks to the back(where I can hear her) and says to another nurse«she wants to be seen because she has gotten worse» the second nurse says«uh. No.» It’s ANHOURBEFORECLOSING!!! So here I am at 1230 on Saturday going to find another doctor somewhere because the people at LiveOn want to go home for the day. Glad you took that oath. Save yourself the headache. Don’t go here.

I visited LiveOn Health Center as a first time patient and the entire staff was really nice. The wait wasn’t long at all and Dr. Modi was very pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. I would recommend LiveOn Health Center to anyone and look forward to using them as my primary care physician!!!
