Beware that unlike at other Hilton properties, this one charges you one night stay if you cancel within 24 hours of scheduled check-in. I travel a lot for business and sometimes plans change last minute. Just be aware of this policy. It’s cost us hundreds of dollars.

Hands down the best hotel I’ve ever been to. The staff is amazingly exceptional. No need to list names because every single one of them goes above and beyond. I usually like to keep to myself so in that regard this is a dream. Housekeeping respects the do not disturb sign which surprisingly a lot of hotels do not. Then as soon as I took the sign off they promtly cleaned the room. The hotel is quiet and clean and the rooms are gorgeous. I wish I had this furniture in my house. The restaurant downstairs is the best food I’ve ever had so it makes the price okay. In addition there is a gym, and indoor pool, and a coin operated washer and dryer. The rooms have a fridge a microwave and a Keurig coffee machine. And then if that’s not enough it is adjacent to strip mall. I don’t need to drive anywhere! It’s going to be hard to get me to leave.

I’ve stayed at several HGIs over the years, but I must say this was the best experience so far. The hotel was immaculate and I was surprised to learn it was 10 – 15 years old. Clearly the management has done an exemplary job of maintaining the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows actually get a 6-star rating! I want to make special mention of Marjorianna Douglas, the Director of Sales & Marketing. We were in town for a wedding and the rehearsal dinner was held at the hotel. Having been in sales and marketing for 25 years I am always impressed when someone exceeds my expectations and Marjorianna did just that. The event was very well organized and the evening was a tremendous success. Just as with all weddings, there are always challenges to deal with and she eliminated the stress by handling any glitch that arose quickly, calmly and confidently. I also had the opportunity to see her interact with other hotel staff and it was clear she has earned the respect of her staff. Hilton is lucky to have Ms. Douglas. If you need a venue for your event, you will be in good hands if you are working with her! I look forward to staying here anytime I return to Atlanta.

A nice clean and pleasant experience, just like you expect from a HGI. A decent beer selection for that«Last Call» while you’re watching Dancing With the Stars. The morning breakfast offerings we up to HGI standards, plenty of fresh fruit, bread and made to order eggs.

Reasonably clean and convenient, however the breakfast took almost 50 minutes to get to the table. The walls in the rooms are thin as well… our snoring neighbor may as well have been in our room. Try the Express across the street.

I just stayed here and I had a great experience — the staff was friendly, the rooms were clean and nicely decorated, the entire hotel felt very new, and the food at the restaurant was great! I definitely appreciate good food, and I got in late one night and ordered a salad with grilled chicken, pecans, cranberries, blue cheese, etc. It was so good that the next day I got one«to go» for my lunch. The best part was that a friend who lives in Atlanta drove down to visit me while I was in the area for work, and a storm prevented us from going out to a restaurant, so we ate at the hotel restaurant. The waitress was great, and the chef even made me a different sauce than what came on the salmon and linguine, then came out to check how I liked it(it was delicious!). Overall, excellent service!!!

Regarding the restaurant. I love eating here for breakfast. They have a la carte cooked to order service. They also offer a self serve continental side which includes pecans, cantaloupe, coffee, pastries, cereals, etc. I usually order the egg white omelette with veggies. It’s made consistently even if the cook is different. I only take one star because at times they can be under staffed. The staff is super friendly and very helpful. They remember my name and remember what I usually order. The food is very fresh and the place is extremely clean. My wife and I are devoted customers on those days that we ran out of time and can’t fix breakfast at home. Some Sunday’s we bring the kids here just to mix it up. Their waffles and pancakes which are also made to order are a big hit with our 3 boys.

I really enjoyed my stay here at the HGI. The hotel seems brand new. The rooms were nicely decorated with a modern touch. Checking-in was fast and only took a minute. Free wi-fi. My GPS had trouble locating the place so I had to call them for directions, but it was very easy to get to. I took advantage of the breakfast buffet and loved that they served halved grapefruit! lol Love grapefruit.

This hotel reminds me of Hyatt Place a lot. The modern and trendy décor, the mosaic in the kitchen /bar area and the continuous jazz offer a departure from the flowered wallpapered, southern sun room feel I have experienced at other HGI hotels. Yes, this HGI does not have that nauseating factor that I call yuck. The eating area has a bar that seems to only play CNN. There is a breakfast bar with many food options in addition to a grill where there are some made to order options for omelets. I have not stayed overnight here – only held seminar for work. I would definitely want to stay based on my experiences. It’s a very new, well appointed hotel.
