Attempted to buy a firearm. 30 min later they finally found the box. 25 min later their «electronic» NFA transfer form wouldn’t print. I had to just walk out. Sorry. They were friendly. But I’d much rather spend that much money in a local business. It shouldn’t take over an hour to proceeds a firearm transaction. The place is understaffed.

Went to Dick’s in McDonough to buy athletic shoes.
There was no one in the department to help me.
Saw three young men, presumably employees in another department
shooting the breeze.
Went to Academy sports and got the shoes and service I was looking for.
Dick’s is no longer my first choice for sporting goods needs.

Horrible customer service. Went yesterday to see if they could re-​shaft a couple of my clubs and the old man was rude and said they didn’t do that here. I think he was just lying so he wouldn’t have to do them.

I go to Dick’s for two reasons. They would be football & softball. And normally I just get the basic help and move on. Nothing to complain about. I get what I need, if they have it in stock, and I move on.
This last trip we met this young college student who played football and he really REALLY enjoyed it. He was extremely helpful. Past what would have been acceptable for customer service. So helpful that he gave us his schedule so we could come back because he needed to check on some information (We had to come back anyway because they didn’t have what we needed and the truck was coming in late Friday). Where do they do that at? MCDONOUGH THAT’S WHERE.
Dick’s really needs to hold on to this guy. He’s a gem. Imagine someone at a store who actually knows what he’s talking about? Oh yea. I’m a fan!

It seems like every time I go to this location I have horrible service. Today I was there with my family and when we went to check out, stood in a line that didn’t move for ten minutes, before sitting down the merchandise and walking out. This seems to be par for the course every time we go there…
