Very delicious home cooking! Got the county fried steak, greens, mac n cheese, biscuit and a sweet tea. I ate it so fast because it was so tasty. We went on a Sunday afternoon after church and went through line and got a seat very quick.

Honestly this place has good sides. The entrée options are not so great. However, they do not have chicken and dumplings very often. But when they do I highly recommend them!

My mother, daughters, and I stopped by for lunch Monday afternoon following a doctors appointment. We usually dine at the Chinese restaurant in the same shopping center, but I really wanted to try something new. I am VERY happy I insisted on stopping by. The restaurant offers cafeteria style service. You pick a meat, sides, and bread type. They also cook certain meals to order, but I saw everything I was interested in already on the line. I ordered the fried chicken, macaroni and cheese, sweet potato casserole, and corn bread. My daughters had the mashed potatoes and green beans while my mother tried the squash casserole. Everything was hot, fresh, and delicious. The sweet potatoes were amazing and we all are the chicken down to the bones. I wasn’t a fan of the corn bread because it savory rather than the sweet cornbread I prefer. I was still tasty, just not something I would order again. We also had the cherry cobbler and key lime pie for dessert. Both were excellent and I would stop by for the caked, pies, and other goodies any day of the week. Prices are reasonable($ 8.40 for a meat, two sides, bread, and a drink). Three adult meals with two desserts cost us about $ 30 and we all left feeling stuffed. I will be returning there soon because the baked chicken, fish, and other entrees all looked so good that I want to try everything.

My family eats here about 3 times a week and the food is always well prepared and wholesome. Excellent staff. Just wish they were open 7 days. Cafeteria style makes sure that we are eating quickly. Highly recommended.

For a quick and inexpensive good«home-cooked meal», you can’t beat Cravings. The vegetables are delicious and the banana pudding is a must! The wonderful friendly staff makes this one of my favorite lunch spots. This is a perfect Sunday/after church place to pick up a take out box. The food will remind you of the Sunday dinner you once had at your grandmother’s house! Five stars for this family friendly restaurant. I’m so glad we have Cravings in McDonough!

Tried this today. Food was decent. But there are country buffet restaurants around that supply the same quality food, but all you can eat, at the same price.

Amazing. Service was awesome, food was incredible. No words can explain how much I liked it. The Beale’s did a good job on this restraunt. Loving knowing that good friends from nearby work there to! Nice job folks!

I’ve eaten here twice and its okay. The gravy is on the salty side and I feel the prices are a bit high. For about a dollar or more I can go to another country place for all you can eat.

I was excited to try this restaurant for the first time. It’s very close to my home and there are not many home-cooking restaurants nearby. The restaurant is very clean and spacious. Lots of seats for different size groups. The style is cafeteria. You walk down the line and tell the servers what you want. The combo meals include a meet, two veggies, and bread for $ 7.25. The kids meal also has a meet, two veggies, bread and a drink for $ 4.75. Knowing this ahead of time, I had planned to let my daughters share the fried fish and two veggies. However, when I tried to order, I was told that the kids plates could only have fried chicken(not baked chicken) or a half piece of country fried steak. None of the other meat options were available for the kids meal. This was a dilemma, as both my girls love fish, and don’t get it very often. In the end, I paid more than I want to so we can all eat something we liked. The food was good– home cooking is true. Fried zucchini was very good. Mashed potatoes tasted like maybe the milk had spoiled. Fish was delicious.

Well, they have good variety of foods. This day, they have chicken fried steak, beef tips w/white rice, baked chicken, tilapia fish, fried chicken. Lots of choices. Good southern green beans. Mac & cheeses. They end with a dessert. Pecan pie. Not a fancy place. Food is good. You get in quick and get out quick. About $ 10 with a drink. Not bad.

Been here twice already this week, just sampling the menu. Lots of good southern dishes, and nothing I don’t like as if yet. Their green beans are fantastic. Country fried steak and baked chicken are both very good. The only reason I am not dropping five stars here is because they could serve things just a tad warmer. Don’t get me wrong, the food isn’t cold. But I do like my food served pretty hot. We’ll be back again soon.
