Talk to the chef and tell him what you like… He’ll make you the best rolls ever!!! And it was so inexpensive… Loved it! I’ll be back!

What a sorry excuse for a sushi bar. The fish looks old and when I asked for an option to have a sushi lunch, my choices were ala carte sushi or $ 35 box. Nothing in between. It just so happens at the World Cup soccer match was on and the 15-year-old host thought it was a good idea to raise the volume beyond capacity, so that I could not focus on my lunch, enjoy it, or even hear anything else that was going on. It was a most unpleasant experience and I will never go back.

This place was great. We ordered several items: Fried crab, beef tataki, seaweed salad, saki, beer, kimchi, and a lot sushi: Salmon, octopus, white tail, yellow tail, scallops, fish eggs and a few others. All this and our bill was just under $ 100. Very fair priced, in my opinion. The waitress was attentive and polite. I will for sure go back.

Food was good. But damn, no hot green tea! That’s not acceptable in an authentic Japanese place. But then, they’re not ran by Japanese, but by locals. Couldn’t they have ran to Le Lai next door to borrow some hot tea?
