Cherner did several minor body repairs for our cars. the service quality is excellent. they also paid full attention to need of customers. they are easy to work with. We are extremely happy with the auto body repair services provided by Cherner.

I bought a 2010 Mercedes-​Benz E350 from Cherner in November 2014 so far I’m very happy with the car. very knowledgeable sales staff very reasonably priced similar car was going for over almot $ 4000 at tysons Mercedes. I highly recommend these guys.

Took my car there as recommendation from insurance agency.
Horrible experience, small scratch and fix a windshield. quoted at 4 days, its been 6 weeks. car still isnt done correctly.
Horrible customer service, horrible attitude.

Another long overdue review. Cherner Lincoln Mercury still exists. It was closed down, and reopened.
I have gone to this dealership throughout my life as I have both ridden and driven vehicles from this place. Not once has this place given us a good deal.
By the time I was ready to buy, I went back here to the same salesman our family has used for the past 20 years. I chose a base model sedan, no bells, or whistles, got the manufacturers rebates available, and was «ok» with the price. We went into the finance office, and they took me for 24.99% interest over five years. I was in shock. I was a new driver, but I had credit carts for a while, and always paid on time.
I refinanced it later, and got it down to 8% through another company. The car would have cost me as much as a new Toyota Camry.
Not to end there, the car has many problems and was covered under warranty. A couple times they wanted me to pay for it and said they lost the records for the car. I had to drive back home and present the records to them and they would fix the car. Muffler, exhaust pipe, rattling, funny issues for a new car. I had to do this a few times, and probably had multiple exhaust/​mufflers replaced under warranty.
Needless to say, the place has no control for integrity.
I do not know how it is today, but the business practice of this place is equivalent to that of a lethal injection of rip off.

Beware of being ripped off!!!
Good: They are conveniently located in Tyson’s Corner and have a nice clean environment. They are also a Geico preferred shop, so they can take care of all the paperwork in one stop…
Bad: Not recommended if you are going to spend your own money. I had some minor paint imperfection that I wanted them to take care of. I was written up for an estimate of $ 1034. No joke!!! Another body shop in Vienna quoted me $ 484 for the exact same job. No joke!!! Took it to Jack’s Auto Body in Falls Church and they fixed the problem for $ 100. Perfect finish, in 3 hours. How long did Cherner say they needed for the job? 3 days!!!
Net: I am not sure if they are crooks or they simply over estimated the nature of the work. However, given that I ended up with a perfect end result for 10x lower cost (that’s right, I paid 10x less in terms of $ and saved around 3 days of being in a rental car).
Shops like Cherner I believe are used to living by over charging the insurance companies. I am sure the quality of their work is good, but I would not step in there, ever!

Stay away. With my wife, we were very disappointed by the sales team attitude.
We know it’s very hard to obtain full information on cars from dealers. But there is a minimum of honesty to have.
At Cherner, we liked a used car there and we had to deal with two sales, Sam and his boss Eddie. As we did not want to buy rental car, we asked specifically several times where the car was coming from. On the carfax, it said lease or rental. The salesmen kept telling us «We’re pretty sure it’s not a rental». When we bought the car, we saw on the title the car was owned by Hertz… We told them back and their reply was «we told you we were pretty sure, we did not certify it was not a rental». I know, buying car from dealers is a not child play. But if you’re interested in buying at Cherner, just move on to the next dealer…
