Purchased a TV from them and was told to go outside to wait for them to bring it out. After 10 – 15 min I went back in to see what was taking so long and i see a guy taping up a tv box that appears to be mine. I said is that my tv and he said yes. I asked why he opened the box. He said they always pull the tv’s out to make sure their not damaged and worked. I said I wish the sales guy would of told me that and I would have stayed in the store to watch. Needless to say I went home and ended up coming back the next morning because I don’t trust anyone opening up my brand new $ 1000 tv when I’m not there. Who knows what they did. Even if they didn’t do anything that is bad practice. So the manager started being combative with me saying we always have done that, which is not true because I have bought 3 tv’s from them and that was never done. He was sarcastic and wanted to argue so I said we can argue all you want but I want a brand new factory sealed tv. They brought my old tv in and pulled it out to make sure it worked and he was like see its still packed in the factory packaging. Well of course it was because I never even opened it when I took it home, it was still sealed from when they opened it. They opened the new one and just plugged it in to see if it powered up. They didn’t check for dead pixels or damage like the guy said he was checking for yesterday. He also put his paws all over the front of the tv… thanks. They could have been nicer and more understanding with my concerns but instead just wanted to be an asshole to me. The worst customer experience I have ever encountered at a retail store. I have prob purchased over 10k worth of appliances/tv’s in the past 10 years from them. Well they just lost me as a customer. This place is only good if you can get a better price for a product that’s it. Don’t expect any expert advise or good customer service.

I walked in to see if they carried an item that I wasnt too sure they would have, but since I was in the area I thought I would check. There weren’t many other customers in the store, maybe 1 or 2. I walked in and about 4 employees including what appeared to be a manager did not acknowledge me, but instead looked as if they did not want to help. They were surrounding the check out area chatting amongst themselves… I guess I was interrupting. Too bad because I am looking for a nice grill and a TV. I bought my washer, dryer, stove and fridge from HHGregg, but will not step foot in this place again. Aren’t these guys on commission?

We recently came here looking for kitchen appliances. The salespeople were extremely helpful and spent quite a while describing all the different models and features. We really learned the differences between brands, including features we hadn’t previously considered, and the were encouraged to take apart the dishwasher racks and look in each to make sure we were satisfied. While the salesperson took the time to understand what we wanted, they also gave us some space to talk amongst ourselves so we could decide with very little sales pressure. Our new appliance was installed within two weeks. We were very happy with both the customer service in store and the installation team. The product is great and works exactly how we wanted. I don’t think the prices are as competitive as some of the big hardware stores, but the products seem better quality. The fact that we had as much info as needed made us confident in our decision and we are happy with the result. Not to mention the fact that the store is clean, bright, and well kept and the employees here are friendly and knowledgable. A win for all!
