L’ Amour Nail & Spa

I posted the picture of the deep purple nails with the gems on the ring fingers and I am so pleased with the work they did! They actually listened to everything I requested and made sure that I was able to find the perfect color and design that I wanted. There was also no wait to get in and I highly recommend this place over first nails.

I was in the area for a wedding and stopped in on a Saturday morning. The staff was friendly and everything seemed clean. My main problem was the price. It was super expensive for a mani/​pedi, more than I pay in DC where the cost of living is way higher. Also, the technician who did my nails, left very unclean lines around the cuticle. I had to ask her to go back on both my fingers and toes to clean it up, and she seemed confused about what I was asking, when they clearly looked like something I could have done. The manicure did last almost a whole week which was impressive, but my toenails started chipping after a few days.

I was in Toledo for a wedding and needed a mani/​pedi before the festivities. I did some searching online and found L’Amour & it was about 5 minutes away. After calling to make sure there was availability, I was on my way!
I had a great experience overall. The service was great, the staff friendly and the manicure and pedicure were excellent. The salon isn’t over the top decked out or anything, but it’s clean and simple which matters to me. When I’m in the area again, I’ll be sure to go here!

I have been to this place a couple of times now. I usually have to wait but it is worth it– I don’t feel rushed or like they are on a mission to get you in and out (like most salons in this area). They take their time and do a really nice job.

I think we may have found L’Amour on an off day. I went a couple of months ago with my friend to get no-​chip manicures. Upon arriving they were able to start us right away, so since we had time, we added pedis too. We wrote all this on the check-​in sheet. We sat in the chairs with our feet soaking in lukewarm water for twenty minutes. The woman who approached me asked if I needed no-​chip and I said «Not for my feet, but a no-​chip mani, yes.» The pedicure was fine. Then when I was moved to the table for my hands, she started using a regular polish. I interrupted to clarify and she said that she had asked and I had said «No.» The translation error cost a little bit of time as she had to remove the polish from my first two nails. I had also already paid, so she said it would be an extra $ 20. I tried to give her a $ 20 bill but there was also tax she had to add on… In the meantime, my friend was working with a gentleman who also appeared to be running the place. He stopped frequently to help greet guests at the door and answer the phone. Eventually my manicure was done and my friend was still in the buffing stages. Getting to work on time was a challenge. I wouldn’t come back here if I had somewhere to be afterward, but if you’ve got an open schedule, I say go for it.

I am from Los Angeles, CA and traveling on business. I travel almost all 52 weeks of the year and get my nails done all over the country. L’Amour Nail & Spa does excellent work. Budget a bit of time as they do take their time… which I appreciate, and they are not extremely cheap; $ 47.00 for a basic mani/​pedi. The $ 47.00 was well worth every penny. At 39, I have been getting my nails done for quite awhile, but I cannot remember the last time I was this satisfied with the work done, care taken and the kindness of the staff. I will stop here as no one likes long reviews.

Fabulous! I have been to high end salons all of my life for mani/​pedi, and have always had bad luck at «quick» places like «The Venetian» in Levis Commons. Tina was delightful, and VERY meticulous… Highly recommended salon!

Got regular full set done with gel polish. Staffs were very friendly and professional. We were there 30 minutes earlier than our appt time but didn’t have to wait which was great. I was not really satisfied with the shape of my nails but other than that great place to go!

I just moved to the Toledo area and have been VERY nervous about finding a new nail salon. I am very picky with my acrylic, I like it thin and never sharp. Sounds easy but surprisingly has been difficult in the past. I decided to try L’Amour due to the 2 excellent reviews. Walked in and was helped immediately. Julie listened to my requests and was amazing!!! She now has a loyal customer! I’m very excited to try the deluxe pedicure next!

I love this place! It is clean and the staff is courteous and professional. It’s a relaxing environment unlike some spas where the music is blasting and no one acknowledges you when you come in. We were greeted upon arrival and only had a short wait even though we were a walk in. My nails look fantastic and the manicure was great. I will definitely go back and I will recommend this salon to others.

I am extremely picky when it comes to my nails, having said that I’m extremely happy so far with my nails. This salon is extremely clean and the staff seems to really care about your satisfaction. I will definitely be back!!!

Came in the late afternoon as a walk-​in and didn’t have to wait at all. Staff was courteous, facility was very clean & comfortable, and prices were very reasonable. I had a gel manicure removed & a regular manicure done. I was not rushed at all, the woman doing my nails was meticulous!

This is a great salon. Privately owned and operated by a husband and wife. I have numerous pedicures here over the last yr. The owners are from California and do a wonderful job. The salon is always clean and calm. Thank You!

I loved this place! I am so picky about nail salons and so far Toledo has been a disappointment for nail salons but I went here for a pedicure and it was perfect :) I had Hai and he was wonderful, sooooo nice and my toes looked divine! He mentioned that business is slow because of the construction on Dussel which is crazy because I would have drove an hour in traffic for this pedicure. Enjoy Toledo: D
