Starbucks Matteson this is the worst run location at Starbucks no heat when cold, when warm no ac why can’t they get this corrected. A very unhappy customer. This has been a problem every day you been open. restaurants need good management please correct this or you will loose a 10 plus year customer.

This store never really closed just moved. Starbucks opened a brand new location just across Cicero Avenue(the street) from the old location.

This location has MOVED to Cicero and Lincoln Highway. There is now a drive-through window and I think they need a better speaker. It can be insanely busy in the morning and sometimes orders can get mixed up. I call it growing pains with this new more complex operation. But the employees are always willing to give you your order exactly as you want it.

My favorite of the Starbucks. The staff knows what you like as any good bartender should. Good energy. Nice and busy.

Good coffee. Great location near I57. Can not go wrong with coffee when have top time to kill, and if you are a people watcher this Starbucks has a lot of traffic(which means a lot of eye-candy that fits whatever needs… lol)

I have been frequenting this Starbucks for years… enough to experience the many changes in management and baristas. :(just when u get used to seeing the same smiling faces u get a … «sorry, he/she is no longer at this store.» Which is a shame bc the caring, humorous, and attentive staff is what has made me swarm back to this location time and time again. As another reviewer said, however, these baristas know their stuff(newly assigned to this store or not)…and they will make ur drink until they get it right. I always feel welcomed AND wanted :). I have made many barista friends over the years, as well as Starbucks frequenting friends from the community. The new renovation was needed… a wonderful long center table with plenty of outlets… smaller tables along the walls… an awesome bar area where u can watch all of the barista action… and bar height round pub tables in the rear of the store. Additionally, there are a couple of rounds outside in front of the store if u like outside weather or enjoy striking up conversations with passersby going to the cigar shop next door or AT&T wireless, Panda Express, or any other store in the strip mall. And don’t be afraid to strike up a convo with the baristas… they’re not shy! No five stars bc it can become VERY chilly in the store… so bring a sweater if u get cold easily… But even in spite of that it is definitely a place to plug into… a place where everybody knows ur name and they’re always glad u came.

Every time I sit down to write a review for Starbucks I have to double check to make sure I haven’t already tapped out a review for the location in question. Most Starbucks are pretty homogenous – it’s the Starbucks way – the business is set up so that your experience should be almost identical regardless of the location you visit. That being said, the experience isn’t always the same. Sometimes I leave a Starbucks wishing I poured some coffee in a thermos at home and skipped the whole deal. Not so at the Matteson location. I like this little Starbucks. The baristas are personable and the drinks are well-made. The store is clean and newly renovated(am I the only one who hates to see all the older Starbucks getting this cookie cutter renovation?) and it the most convenient store to hit up when driving from work to class twice a week. Definitely a solid little store. The only thing that kept this location from edging up into four star territory is the pastry. Dry and stale does not make for a happy pastry. And all pastry should be happy pastry. Stick with the coffee and pass on the pastry. Yup, that about sums it up.

As I been trying many of the other Starbucks throughout the Southwest Suburban Area, I am drawn back to this location, they are one of the VERY«FEW»! I have found that actually listen to your Frappacinnio Reciepe, many I found write it on the cup(or make motion that they do!) but FEW actually give you exactly what you requested. Many charge for EXTRA Whip Cream and then don’t give you extra saying they would have to put it in a large size cup, what a mess! This location makes every effort to serve your drink«YOURWAY!» So far, this is the place to get«YOURDRINK!» Keep up the Great Work! Combat Veterans Welcomed!
