River Street Grill

The flavored chicken wings are out of this world. I love the Sweet Chilli & Golden BBQ are soooooooooo good. You can get the wings with sauce on them which I think they put too much sauce. If that’s how you like them, then order with light sauce. But I like to switch it up and prefer my wings not soggy so I order them plain and get the sauce on the side.

They told me 30 – 45 min. The pizza came after over an hour. It tasted weird and stale, totally weird dough. It tasted kinda liked melted plastic. The only reason I’m giving RSG 2 stars instead of 1 was because the onion rings were somehow still crispy and not bad despite being lukewarm, maybe it was just because I was so hungry.

this is one of the nasty places I ever ever ate from… not to mention the shrimp (only) plate is 17.99 gtfoh… I rather order take out across town then eat from this low class place… with high class prices! The only positive thing I can say is the liquor store is right next door!!!

Awesome buffalo wings and fingers. Subs are pretty good too. They added pizza to menu but I think they should of left that off.

I always order a grilled chicken Caesar salad with the house dressing. It is delicious. I get all the way home to find out there was no dressing in my bag. I called and wasn’t yelling or rude and asked for a refund. I was told either you bring the salad back for your refund or get the salad and keep it pushing. The manager was beyond rude. It completely ruined my night. On top of that that salad was just ok. I think customer service is key especially when the staff mess up.

Had the chicken Parm sub and it was by far the best I have ever had. Customer service was great and the girl with the glasses who works the counter was very nice!!!

BEST wings I ever had in MA, you can never go wrong with River Street Wings with the million different flavors they have and the nice size wings and by portion you can purchase them, can’t beat it!!!

THE POOREST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EVER COME INTO CONTACT WITH.
Just to say, I run a business, and customer service is what KEEPS the customers returning. During high volume there should be no rudeness or sarcasm, which is what they have included in my order. I was put on hold right after i ordered, and when they picked me back up, began screaming for me to give them my address (which I already did). I told the female I was on hold to pay, I already ordered, then she screams more and tells me OH YOU HAVE TO WAIT, YOU’VE ONLY BEEN ON HOLD FOR A MINUTE AND I HAVE PEOPLE ON HOLD FOR FIVE MINUTES. Before I can even speak, she hung up on me. I was still registering what happened when they called back, I asked for the manager and all I got was even more sarcasm and poor customer service, FROM THE MANAGER. I ended up hanging up because customer service means nothing to these people. I dont know why the owner has let this place turn into a place hosted by ingnorant customer service females. I will NEVER ORDER HERE AGAIN.
NOTE TO OWNER: IF YOUR STAFF CAN’T HANDLE WHAT COMES WITH A BUSY BUSINESS, THEN I SUGGEST YOU FIND SOMEONE WHO CAN HANDLE IT OR YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS OVER THEIR PHONE ETIQUETTE.
And what stinks is I like their pizza. Now I have to order from somewhere without sarcasm and a disrespectful attitude.

I have been coming here since 1995 and if you love chicken wings then you need to try this place. I strongly recommend getting them plain and ask for a variety of sauces on the side. That way the wings stay crispy! I order anywhere from 25 to 100 wings at a time. The office lives them and so does my family. These are fresh wings not the frozen junk you get elsewhere. Next football game or party you attend order them and see the reaction you get!

Pizza is consistently great.

–lack of consistency with quality customer service (specifically in regards to the girl who answers the phone. There’s a ⁵⁰⁄₅₀ chance she’s going to be great or rude). Personally, It’s a tough call because their pizza is great. However, I don’t support businesses who are rude to the people who employ them (their customers); I have no problem going somewhere else.

Good local job. Your standard take out menu of burgers, subs and pizza wings, etc, although there are a few tables. The menu is pretty extensive. Counter people are nice. Not bad for a local place, but definitely not worth a special trip.

We tried this place on a whim of passing by and man were we LATE. I can definitely see why the parking lot is ALWAYS crowded. The food and portion size is amazing. Another plus is that they do «steak fries» and by far these are the best to pair with their wings. Haven’t had a burger yet but that’s next on the list.
Had to update, had their bacon burger and fries. AMAZING. the burger was crisp on the outside and so juicy when i bit in. Again, love the steak fries. Had a bite of hubby’s cheesesteak and it was soooo good. Writing this review is seriously making me thing about to going and trying the rib dinner.

Depends on whose cooking the food… I can only assume that this place has more than one chef working, because the difference between the quality of food from one week to the next is stark. Sometimes their subs are amazing and chock full of meat, other days they may as well be serving cheesy bread as those are basically the only two ingredients included. The tenders are good, although they still haven’t caught on to the concept on putting fries on one side and chicken on the other, so the fries get soggy very quickly.
All in all, it’s close and sometimes very good. I take my chances, but hate the disappointment when I order on the «wrong day.» Also, one of the cashiers could benefit from some training in customer service. Attitude is a little off putting.

It was 3 – 4 stars before but the food I am NOT eating now makes me want to give it a one. I ordered a rib dinner and garlic bread with cheese. The prices was $ 3 more than the delivery fee and online prices would tally to. Can’t eat the garlic cheese bread, cause it is cold, might’ve been good hot but it is NOT now. I ordered the rib dinner with fries. FYI don’t send fries with ribs on top of them. The fries are soggy and gross. So I ended up paying $ 20 (that includes the tip) to eat 2 ribs and ¼ bite of bread. I called to complain and was told sorry. I think they should have offered at least a partial refund.

The guys at work order from here and like the pizza so I decided to try a wrap. The Greek wrap came filled with almost a half a green pepper chopped up inside… I hate peppers and it was not on the menu. There was more dressing than I like, but with the peppers picked out, the rest of it wasn’t too bad. I’ll make sure I call next time so I can ask if there’s anything not listed that comes on a sandwich.

Been going here for years. I am definitely bias with my review but who cares. I would recommend anything on the menu especially the steak and cheese sub, chicken caesar salad, and Buffalo Chicken Calzone.

I was driving through Mattapan looking for a place to get some lunch and stopped by here… some of the greatest food I’ve ever had-​especially the buffalo chicken. Very quick, friendly and helpful service by the staff too.

The BBQ rib dinner… amazing! Nice friendly staff. No complaints here, just a full happy tummy.

I found this place by accident one day. I was leaving Whole Foods, I was hungry and I noticed this little shop. I went in ordered a pepsi and an Eggplant Parmesian Sub and it was great. The owners were nice and friendly and they didn’t seem to mind that I was a Yankee fan. LOL. I tried buffalo fingers on my next visit and they were A OK, too or A+ as a previous reviewer wrote.
