I am a regular at this place. The coffee is good and I’m always greeted with a friendly face and impeccable service. The only con for me is they have no cookies which I always enjoy with my coffee.

From the atmosphere to the coffee and pastries, this place is wonderful! There are many different, unique types of coffee, including my personal favorite the frozen iced coffees. So delicious and such a laid back place to sit down with a cup of coffee. Highly recommend!

I was wildly unimpressed with Massapequa Perk. I was so excited to come here because the reviews were great. But that was not my experience. Upon walking in, there was a group of 5 girls taking up all 3 tables(they couldn’t condense into 2 tables?- anyway, not the shop’s fault) and the barista was not behind the counter, but was talking to them. Then, when I went to the counter, it took him a little while to stop his conversation and do his job of taking my order :(wouldn’t have been that bad if he was a friendly person… But he was simply not friendly and made me feel like I was bothering him by placing an order for coffee. If the coffee was good, all would have been forgiven. But it wasn’t — the coffee tastesd watered down and weak. I had a toasted marshmallow iced coffee and I truthfully threw it out. So, so disappointing. A few tips for them: 1) have better coffee and nicer baristas– or at least baristas who are pleasant 2) re-arrange table inside and outside so they’re not right on top of one another or completely inaccessible 3) turn on some lights– even on a sunny day, the natural light doesn’t do enough to make the place lit up.

This place is amazing. Prices are on point and totally reasonable. The flavor options are fantastic. I’ve had the bumble bee(honey and vanilla) and snowy coconut(coconut and vanilla) flavored iced lattes. Both were delicious. I live 15 minutes away and I gladly take the drive here to get my coffee fix.

Best. Coffee. Ever. I like to get the bumble bee latte(vanilla and honey). Everyone that works there has always been super friendly! Also I love that they’re always willing to help decide what new thing to try. You can REALLY tell that they love and appreciate both coffee and their customers. I’m always happy to miss my train because if means I «have to» come over and get a cup ;)

Amazing coffee shop. Service is great and employees are more than happy to answer any questions about their coffee/drinks. The syrups they use are supposedly all natural. So far after my 3rd visit, the crème brûlée was my favorite. A must visit.

Pretty good coffee shop and a great location for sure. Everyone is very to themselves here — definitely not winning any awards for friendliest place on earth. But if you like lattes and creative sugary drinks — you WILL have your fill! Lattes and teas galore. I’m more of a black coffee drinker and if you are too, you might not find the quality something amazing like you would in NYC or smaller coffee roaster shops. But overall a good place to hang with 3 – 4 people max. They have a little nook where you can get some studying done with the wifi they offer — but you have to claim your spot! It goes quick.

Always has a crowd of teenagers lounging around inside and near the bathroom which can be a downside. But the coffee is great and the staff is nice and attentive. Stop by here whenever I come in from the city, which is often

Love this place! So such a quaint and comfortable place to enjoy a cup of coffee. Great location too as it is right next to Massapequa Park town and the LIRR station. Tip: it seems to be a hangout for high school kids so be aware during after school hours

Stopped in to try their coffee after hearing about them through multiple people. I ordered a snowy coconut latte and my boyfriend ordered a white chocolate raspberry coffee. Mine was amazing, the coconut flavor was not overpowering and it was the perfect temperature. My boyfriends coffee had a strong raspberry flavor that I wasn’t a huge fan of, but he loved it! I highly recommend this place but I’m not giving it 5 stars because it was a bit messy when we first walked in but the coffee was great!

This place has an urban and fun vibe. After growing up in LI, I moved to Brooklyn and then moved to a few different states. I came with a friend while visiting and felt transported back to Brooklyn. Everything was on point with two exceptions – the music was too loud and there were a few bros. Great coffee and service!

My girlfriend and I were catching a train into Penn, we got our tickets and being a cold winters day, we said let’s grab a quick hot chocolate(okay she wanted it, not me) I obliged and we quickly hustled over there. The gentleman at the counter was very friendly and very Gunther-esque. Like if fibi and Gunther mated with a snail… He was a bit spacey, and incredibly slow, really into his latte making I guess. She ordered a Nutella hot cocoa and I got some sort of crazy combination of flavors as is my M.O., thrown into a latte. The train is due in literally two minutes up on the platform when my wonderful lady asks for a bagel, granted she had no time to do so, the gentleman said ok just as I heard the trains horn, I asked my gf if she was serious and she yelled back to the guy never-mind. It was as if he was auditioning for the part of tortoise in a coffee shop rendition of tortoise and the hare. He gets the part, we threw a 20 down as we rushed out the door and he came up front from the back saying«aw that’s a shame». We bolted for the train that was already stopped on the platform above, getting to the doors just as they closed, train about to take off pounding on the window, hot drinks in hand! They opened the doors where we could now relax and enjoy the beverages. Her hot cocoa was actually fantastic, I don’t remember mine much. All I remember is being bummed we threw down a 20 for 10 bux worth of drinks at most, and my knees were shattering in the icy cold weather. But I’d go back for that Nutella hot cocoa for sure.

If you seek a quality cup of coffee at a reasonable price this is the place to go. They make other well known coffee chains seem sub-par with every factor… Quality coffee and ingredients, customer service and price. I get a coffee for myself and hubby and walk out spending $ 5 or less. The other day my black coffee had an odd taste(surprisingly) — I took it back and not only did they replace my cup with a fresh brew, but my husband’s too(who loved his vanilla-crème brûlée latte)! They go above and beyond… They have seasonal options and they can whip up any substitute for your favorite chain coffee drink, in my opinion. Ambiance is fantastic with a cozy, eclectic bookshop vibe. My only complaint is that there isn’t much for pastry/edible options, but then again it’s a coffee house and the main mission is– coffee. Love it!

One or two times a week I frequent Massapequa Perk before my morning LIRR commute. I like to sit and enjoy coffee that is invariably perfect every day. The place is so popular that the lines can snake all the way to the door near train departure times. Nevertheless, the service is fast and first rate. The employees are people who like what they do and enjoy friendly banter with the customers. In addition to its on site coffee, Massapequa Perk features a wide variety of excellent whole bean coffees for home brew. The décor is very nice as is the selection of Sirius Coffee House music. The free New York Times is a nice perk(no pun intended). The muffins are absolutely DIVINE. I love the blueberry crumb and chocolate chocolate chip. I have been a big fan of Massapequa Perk for many years and will remain so. Thank you, Lucky Fortunato, your brainchild has grown into a fine adult.

Cute place with fresh pastries, great service and a nice selection coffees and coffee drinks. I have a lot of respect for privately-owned cafes that deliver great service and a solid product over the cheaper or publicly traded alternatives. This place has a great neighborhood feel and a selection of books in case you want to stay for a while and get to know a book.

Small local coffee shop right next to the LIRR. As soon as I walked in I knew this place was going to be great. Very affordable with an extensive list of coffee’s and tea’s. They have pastries, and many other snacks for sale and even bags of their coffee that you can take home to brew and enjoy later. Seem’s like a great place to study and/or get work done or to just relax on the super comfortable couches. I look forward to coming back again!

This place has been open since 2008?! Where have I been?! Adorable little café — couches, cheap/strong coffee, nice staff, and I even saw a small jewelry display! So pick up your girlfriend a necklace, grab a cup o’ joe, and take a nap on that couch!
