The Spa at Massanutten

Out of everything in the park my lady really wanted to do a couples massage. I wasn’t to enthused at first, but it actually turned out to be quite relaxing. We both ended up getting the Signature Massage, which is a combination of Deep Tissue/​Swedish massage. It was 95.00 per person for an hour. The staff is very professional and upon arrival even offered us our choice of cucumber water, spring water, or wine. I of course chose the latter (Pink Moscato). I would definitely recommend this place while your on the resort.

Had a couples massage with the love of my life. The entrance/​lobby is upscale and has a water feature one the wall that automatically sends you into relaxation mode. All staff were nice, professional and greeted you with a smile. We both agreed that our massages were some of the best ever.

My husband and I got a couples massage and it was one of the best of my life. I’ve worked in many spas and had lots of massages and I was more than pleased. They use hot towels all over my body which was very relaxing. I will recommend a massage here over and over again. If I lived closer I would come here all the time.

Amazing massage. I had the Signature Massage with Rebecca… She was amazing!!! I felt on cloud nine. She made sure to get areas in my back that I told her to focus on. With the signature package, she gave me a foot rub as well a mask for my eyes to continue to relax. She was extremely professional and made me feel very comfortable. This is my second time have her for a massage 2 yrs in a row and I am glad the service she provided was consistent. If you want to relax and want someone who is trustworthy especially since your going to spend around $ 110, ask for Rebecca. There are 2 Rebecca’s. I had the tall one. Can’t wait to come back again!

My hubby and I took a weekend getway to check out the caverns and spa. I called here for a couples massage with reflexology package and couples pedicure. The spa was very relaxing and modern and the staff were friendly. They are very thourough with paperwork because they want to make sure of your nedical history. We both enjoyed the packages and we plan on returning when we make another trip in the area.

I had the signature massage with Danielle and she was AMAZING! The only reason I am not giving a higher rating is because there aren’t really any more amenities that come with the facility itself. It would have been nice to have use of a sauna, steam room, something. I’ve had massages in many places and the facility at Massanutten could use a few more standard amenities just to make you want to stick around after or before your massage. However, I would recommend based on the quality of my massage.

Visited the spa today… I had the signature massage. (1 hour, $ 85 — $ 100 after tip)
It was very nice. It was not «amazing», but very relaxing & enjoyable. I would have rated today’s visit a 3 star visit, but since I have been before, and it was a 5 star experience then, I decided to average those experiences.
The spa is a separate building now — in the old days it was tucked into the basement of another building. It’s very upscale and very nice.
I was sad I couldn’t get a convenient appt at the nail salon. As long as I got my massage, who cares? I can get a mani/​pedi elsewhere.

I had a wonderful experience at the Spa today. I made an appointment for the Best of Both Worlds service (half massage/​half facial (no extractions) massage) plus a 15 minute reflexology add on. Angela, my therapist, was very thorough & knowledgeable, and I left the service feeling relaxed and pampered. She even sent me home with the head wrap she used for my facial. The front desk staff were all very friendly, helpful, and professional. The prices seem a bit higher than I’m accustomed to paying, but the service quality is well worth it. I cannot speak to the quality of their other services since I haven’t tried them, but I highly recommend their massage & facial services! I am interested in their spa packages & nail services, so I will be back at the Spa on my next trip to Massanutten.
