The allure of this Taco Tico is baffling. I have eaten here twice and was disappointed both times. The enchiladas were cold, the nacho cheese lumpy, and who knows what was going on with my Tico dinner. I have eaten at the Fort Dodge location numerous times and I must say the Mason City location needs work. If you are craving Taco Tico do yourself a favor and buzz on down to Fort Dodge, a Tico that can back up the talk.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this place at all costs!

Holy cow, this is the best fast food Mexican food in Mason City and it’s not even close. I have dreams about their extra hot sauce. The chicken sancho platter is the kind of thing that can change lives.

Great burritos! That is all I have ever tried there so I cant really speak for anything else. The combo burrito is one of the best burritos I have had. I love this place! I also like the small bar with different hot sauces and salsas. Try this place at least once.

Best fast food Mexican out there. It obviously cannot be compared to a typical Mexican restaurant, but taco bell and taco johns are seriously out classed. Don’t throw your fork away by mistake when you leave.

$ 5 will get you a full stomach with change left over. Not the best quality, but for the price you couldn’t ask for more. If you like Taco Bell, give this place a shot next time you’re in Mason City.

This could possibly be my favorite fast food mexican place of all time. The menu is extensive and cheap. The food is basically microwaved to order, but it tastes great and I always leave there full. So, if you’re looking for very cheap mexican food that tastes great, this is the place to go!
