Ivar’s

For fast food, this is as good as it gets. The staff is friendly, the food delicious and the place is super clean. Wonderful. Keep it up.

I was hoping for a similar dining experience to the Ivars in Seattle by the pier. Either Ivars has changed (not for the better) or this restaurant is not the same as Seattle’s. My husband had the clam chowder and he was happy with that. I had the fish and chips and I was very disappointed. Very little of fish and what was there was greasy, bland and quite thin. The French fries limp and greasy. I only had a couple of bites and threw the rest away. I was really looking forward to a better meal than that, with the name Ivars.

So fresh and so delicious! Would eat here everyday if I had the money!

nice staff, clean restrooms, halibut is expensive. I just want to try the cod first. I will trust the halibut if this is good. hot and fresh, I am a sticker on Tatar sauce. it is good. the fish is super bland without malt vinegar or tartar. fries are a little under seasoned, but still good. tip, gotta love condiments, but it is good.

We have never had a problem with this Ivars. Manager Devon is really cool guy. Would be nice if the tables were kept up on when it is busy but other than that the food is always good!

I go to this ivars once a week and I enjoy the panko crusted fish, super crunchy and juicy. The staff and Cindy the manager treat me so well, remembering my order and bringing my meal amazingly fast, piping hot. I recommend this ivars highly. It is not frozen, the fish is shipped from a big facility in Mukilteo, hand breaded daily,

Frozen food at inflated prices, don’t let the name Ivar’s fool you into thinking this is anywhere near the same quality food as their more expensive restaurants. The food you’ll find here is about on par with what you’d expect to find in your local grocers frozen food section, but only at about 4 times the cost. Their «Fish and Chips» is nothing more than greasy fishy tasting fish sticks with fries. Their clam strip basket at $ 7.99 feels like a fishy tasting rip-​off, when you can get about 3 times more clam for only $ 9.99 at Red Robin. It may now be an off menu item, but you can still order it, and it won’t leave a fishy taste in your mouth. Their Coke Freestyle was poorly calibrated and dispensed nothing more than flavorless brown soda water. Ivar’s Seafood Bar should stop trying to fool us, cut their prices in half and add a drive through window.

I love Ivar’s, but the one in Marysville is definitely lacking. I don’t blame it on this location exactly, seems to be everywhere outside of Seattle. The pieces of fish are smaller for sure and I have the pictures to prove it, LOL. I still give it three stars. I no longer live in Washington and will go here in a pinch while visiting the fam. :-) Huge thumbs up for getting a Coke Freestyle machine though!!!

My husband likes this place. I think its so-​so. I never suggest going here. Kind pricey I think. But they do have a great new soda machine, tons of combinations!
Worse Manhattan chowder I have ever had. Spit it out. Blah. Ok fish, blah fries.

Two orders of their delicious Grilled Alaskan Salmon, tasty wild rice, yummy cole slaw, their delicious New England Clam Chowder in a large home made sour dough bread bowl to share, two drinks from of a fancy fountain, and two desserts to die for: $ 31. Absolutely delicious, served timely. Couldn’t eat it all.

This particular Ivar’s is usually fairly clean, the staff is nice and the food seems fresh. I personally like Ivar’s more than Skipper’s or other «chain» fish restaurants because their fish seems to be better quality. Tried the salmon chowder for the first time over the weekend and it was to die for!

Please save your time and money! Don’t even bother going here. The service is so bad and it’s way over priced. The last time we were there we ended up waiting close to 40 mins for our food and the order was still messed up. Trust this was the last time I will ever step foot in this restaurant.
