The Hardware Store

The Hardware Store, Inc. affiliated with the «Do It Best» hardware chain (cf. to Ace Hardware, True Value, etc.). What this means is that they have access to all goods and can offer them at competitive prices to the big box stores.
Their selection is fantastic in most departments. My wife is particularly interested in feeding birds and they have all that stuff.
I have been looking for a snow blower and they have an excellent buy ($ 200 savings oover competitive items) on a 27″ Poulen/​Husqvarna item that unfortunately is not available from the warehouse at the present time.
I have sent an email inquiry to the warehouse asking if/​when the item will be re-​stocked and available (awaiting reply).
Items such as this are not usually in stock at the local store, but you can get them shipped to the local store for free. So as long as you have a way to get it home, you can do just as well as big box, and perhaps better.
The local store gets 5* because it’s well organized and it’s easy to find things. But because their supplier doesn’t have what I want, I will give an overall 4*
If they come through, I will write an update and upgrade the overall score.
