The energy of this place is fantastic. It’s my favorite place to eat! Everyone is so nice and the food is fantastic! The bakery is also so so good. I’ve never had anything bad there. You must try the apple dumplings!

Love this place. Had the ‘Mess’. It was the best that I’ve had in a long time. I should have only got the half order cause it was way too much for me to eat. Loved it. Always something new and different there to try. Plus the signs don’t lie they do have the best donuts.

This place is awesome. Karen and crew are awesome. I don’t know what more I can say. It was so hard to make a decision about which donut to get with breakfast. Problem solved: They custom made me a peanut butter filled(only in Central PA) half chocolate glazed half vanilla glazed beauty. It was the best donut ever, and I regularly get donuts from Sublime in Atlanta, often cited as the country’s best. Breakfast was great. The ambiance is great. Who knew such a treasure could be found in Martinsburg, PA?

Everything here is delicious. Whether we go for breakfast, lunch, or just for the wonderful baked goods, we have never had a bad experience. They boast the best donuts in Pennsylvania and I have to agree.

Delicious coffee and breakfast. Amazing baked goods made fresh daily. Cozy and friendly atmosphere. A great place to get good coffee due to not having more than gas station sludge in the area.

I can’t say anything that hasn’t already been said… just go there! It’s great! Everything is! You’ll love it! Bakery is insanely amazing! Breakfast is wonderful! Atmosphere is homey and comfortable! Crazy good! Don’t miss this place. My only complaint is that I live 4 hours away! But I WILL go again!

I LOVE this restaurant! However, I’m really disappointed to see the food workers handling ready-to-eat food with their bare hands. Having worked in the hospitality business for over 10 years, it is mandatory for us to use gloves or tongs when handling food, despite the amount of hand-washing. I’ll still keep coming here, but I do hope the procedures are taken a little more seriously. :) Ps, the mint sweet tea is ahhhh-mazing!

Stopped at Mamie’s twice in one week. Here goes: Friday at high noon: the place was packed. The locals in line were really warm and inviting — I know that sounds weird, but that’s how it went. I was torn on the beverage side: homemade crème soda or atomic lemonade. I went atomic and couldn’t have been more pleased. Sour. Sweet. ZING. I also had the BLT Salad which was fine and the Spicy Pumpkin Sausage soup which was A+++. Friend had the Reuben, and it was kinda sloppy. As an anti-soggy-bread advocate, I cannot say it looked good, but she says it was great. Two Hubs at the table had mile high sandwiches that they loved. We had French Fries and Sweet Potato Fries which were well above normal. To finish, some of us took do-nuts and cookies. The bakery is extensive and a ture experience in itself. Monday 10:30am: the place was packed. Of course, I needed a repeat on the Atomic Lemonade. Just as fab. I also had a half order of «The Mess», which is a conglomeration of eggs, ham, peppers and onions mixed with a large order of fried potatoes and covered in cheddar cheese. Crazy good. Both Hubs had full orders of the Grand Canyon Mess — which is as above only with sliced ribeye instead of ham. They loved it and neither could finish. I also had a side of andouille sausage — Yum! Friend had the stuffed french toast and it was a work of art. Two large slices of bread, huge pieces of fresh fruit, cinnamon cream cheese in the middle and freshly whipped cream on top. Glorious. The place marries people and food. The place is clean, efficient and the employees are all happy. The staff is paid above minimum wage and they are focused and friendly. Perfect MC ride from The ‘Burgh — countryside is spectacular. Get yourself to Maime’s and fly that atomic kite… You will not be sorry!

3 years in a row we have been coming to Martinsburg for a family reunion. 3 years in a row we have gone to Mamie’s. Mamie’s is enough of a reason to come here from Chicago but we will visit the family too. The breakfast grilled cheese sandwich with Brie and provolone is not to be missed. Amazing specials. Today was incredible with banana cream pie pancakes. I want to learn how they make their pancakes, I have never had better. We will be back on Monday for more(they are closed on Sunday’s).

Oh sweet baby Jesus this place is awesome. There are so many good baked goods I am not sure where to begin. The donuts are out of this world, make sure to try one! I had the turkey Reuben and my boyfriend and I should have shared it. The fries were a huge size also. The coleslaw on the Reuben was fantastic, and I hate most coleslaw. The ordering system is a little Confusing, but you get the hang of it and they are very helpful guiding you to the right place. You place your order at the counter and they give you a number and then sit down and they bring your stuff. We weren’t sure how to add coffee and donuts for dessert afterwards, but we just told them when we checked out. It seems busy most of the day. I heard several people gushing over the roast beef sandwich while I was there, so will go back to try that.

Mamie’s makes some of the best cookies I’ve ever eaten! My mom bought a selection of cookies from Mamie’s for a Christmas platter, which were very festive. I’m incredibly picky about my cookies… as I love to bake myself. However, I found about 5 different types of cookies that I couldn’t stop eating! I can’t wait to visit this place in person!

This place is an amazing hidden gem in Martinsburg, PA. I grew up not far from here and never even knew it existed until a few months ago… tragic. Mamie’s has the BEST doughnuts I have literally ever tasted and I honestly don’t think it’s possible to get anything there that doesn’t taste good. The breakfast portions are enormous… I ate an omelette and 2 donuts ALLDAY with my leftovers. Everything on the plate is homemade and they also use local produce, meat and eggs. It really is incredible. Their homemade breads, jams and preserves are also not to be missed! This place is so charming, welcoming, and homey. You get to pick your own coffee cup from the Mamie’s collection of cups, help yourself to drinks and Mamie’s own blended, roasted and fresh brewed coffee(never having to wait on a waitress for it) and you can also get some baked deliciousness to eat before your meal comes out and take them right to your table with you. Who doesn’t want coffee and doughnuts as an appetizer?! I had a bacon maple bar doughnut and a toffee crunch cake doughnut… THEBESTEVER. I also had their toasted coconut coffee and chocolate caramel roast coffee. It was incredible. For coffee addicts like myself, its also good to know that you can take a giant to-go cup of Mamie’s amazing coffee on your way out the door. Everyone there is warm and friendly. It is heaven for anyone who loves baked anything and who likes to eat. I’m SOSAD that I live a solid 2 hours away from Mamie’s when it was literally sitting in my backyard at home for 18 years. If you are passing through the area, do yourself a favor and MAKETHISTRIP. You wont be sorry!

Please consider opening a second Mamie’s in Riverside, Illinois. I beg of you, dear sweet owners of Mamie’s. Please? I was in Mechanicsburg for work and this was my one must stop. I managed to bribe my coworker into stopping one day if I promised to be quick. It was a quick stop into heaven!!! I bought a cinnamon sugar yeast donut that I ate for breakfast the next morning. This was the greatest donut of my life. I have never had a cinnamon sugar yeast donut. The texture of this was out of this world. I think it tasted better by being granulated sugar rather than the typical powdered sugar as well. The next morning I devoured my cookies n cream filled donut. It was still incredibly fresh 36 hours after buying it and probably close to 48 hours after being made. It reminded me of the amazing puczkis that us Polish Chicago girls love to devour on Fat Tuesday. The selection of those was a. amazing and b. would blow up in an area like Chicagoland. I’m super sad I didn’t get pictures for friends and family! They were that amazing and impressive! Thank you. Thank you for undoubtedly the best donut experience of my life. I’m just sad I couldn’t bring more onto a plane home with me.

Went to this café with friend for breakfast yesterday. Love this old style café, smells good and all food are good. Will be back again with my husband. Try their doughnuts or pastry or toast. Prices in here reasonable. Toilet is clean and people are friendly

Great local place with lots of reasons to come back. Very friendly staff which probably stems back to the fact that they pay their wait staff greater than the normal amount which counts on tips to make a living. The food choices are diverse and include you average deli items to some more interesting dishes and oh my goodness the desserts. Deserving a 5 star rating on its own, the choices and deliciousness of the baked goods rivals anywhere I’ve been. Definately go, take firneds and family, and prepare to be stuffed and wish you could eat more.
