My husband and I went here for dinner last month when they had the car show(Friday night) and had a horrible experience. We waited 8 minutes(I timed it) before we were even acknowledged. We were led to a tiny room with 2 tables in it and were given menus. While reading the menu, 3 other people were led to the remaining table. A waitress came in and took their order while ignoring us. I finally after another 5 minutes waved a waitress down and told her our order had never been taken. She got our waitress and she took our order. We both ordered the Friday night(according to the menu) special of fish. I ordered beer battered fried and my husband ordered baked. I heard the other tables waitress telling them what the sides were(which included baby beets) and ordered 2 sides, which were Mac and cheese and the baby beets. My husband ordered stewed tomatoes(which he said was delicious and a salad. When our orders came his fish he said was good. Mine on the other hand was crispy on the outside, but undercooked and soggy on the inside. The Mac and cheese was cold and they gave me potatoes instead of the baby beets. I flagged another waitress down because ours never came back to ask if everything was satisfactory and she said she’d microwave it and I declined the offer. I also told her I got potatoes instead of baby beets, and she proceeded to tell me that baby beets were not on the menu(then why did the waitress at the other table say it was an available side?) and said she’d get the chef to make me fresh Mac and cheese and the baby beets. After quite a while she came back with the Mac and cheese, which was very hot and sliced beets which were bitter. I went to the restaurant hungry and after only eating the small side of Mac and cheese, left hungry as well. Our waitress finally came back with the check and my husband gave her his credit card with a 15% coupon. She came back with 2 checks stating she had to redo it because we had the coupon. Needless to say, we will never go back. Had I known, we would have gone to Traditions restaurant down the road and would have left with a full belly and good food with excellent service. We thought we’d try the Bistro because we had a 15% coupon, and there was a car show in the parking lot which we thought would be fun to attend after dinner. VERY disappointed.

I’ve been here twice with my family for breakfast. Good food, good service, good portions. By the way, they have the best pancakes I’ve ever had. All in the wonderful charming little town of Martinsburg PA.

Delicious food, my favorite is on Thursdays they(usually) have all you can eat chicken and waffles. They switch up their menu though every season. It’s obvious the chef knows what he is doing, the gravy is incredible along with the homemade waffles and mashed potatoes.
