Horrible first and last experience. Found a shard of plastic in our toddlers fettuccini alfredo. No one seemed to really mind after I told the waiter and then had to tell the manager myself. They made us another order after I explained we weren’t interested. ??? Pizza was mediocre at best. I had the King’s Special and all the vegetables tasted like they were straight out of a can. Crust was soggy. The garlic bows were burnt on the bottom.

Kings is what I would call a tradition for my family. It was the first place we found in the Martinsburg area, and nearly 3 years later it hasn’t gotten old. Best pizza in town with fresh toppings piled sky high on a bed of melty delicious cheese and savory tomato sauce. The portions are hearty. The pizza slices ALONE can be as big as your head, so you’ll never leave hungry. The subs are just as good,(and just as big) so make sure to get around to those too. The staff are courteous and efficient as well. Here’s the 1 downside I can see, the prices can be a bit much. They often have great coupon deals and specials though so it kinda balances out. All in all, Kings Ny Pizza is worth every penny spent. (I’d like to reccomend the meat lovers pizza and meatball subs too. Enjoy y’all. :D)

Owners/managers are incredibly rude to all customers and almost maliciously abusive to their staff. Watched the owner pull the cash register off the counter and make some poor timid teenage girl pick it up in the middle of the dinner rush and the kid actually apologized saying it was her first day and she was super sorry for the wait. I live less than half a mile from this place and refuse to give them any business. Their pizza sucks and they’re way overpriced anyway. Giovanni’s and Anthony’s are better quality for normal prices. I only ordered from them due to proximity, but everyone else at least delivers.

This was my first time here. Service was good but food was wonderful! Super large portions and tastes awesome. They also cave us a cake to go for Christmas for free. Love it here!!!

Don’t see what all the locals do in this place. Mediocre pizza, disgusting and bland pasta, and pretty much everything is over priced. Stuffed pizza is ok I guess, and the garlic knots will definitely leave your breath stinking for a night, but my favorite thing at this Italian pizza place is the BLT sandwich. Hard to mess up I guess. 2.5 stars.

2nd Review and still 5 Stars — This time I brought a witness. Ordered different items from the menu and found even a year later my first interview was not because I was smitten. My witness and I agree the food and service are one and the same — Outstanding — It is great to see the owner, servers, cook staff, and food all blended together in a perfect collaboration for the customer. Stacy(my server this time) was amazing. She spoke highly of the business which means she is happy there and that is a direct reflection on the owners and her coworkers too. Okay… gotta run there for lunch now. Enjoy.

One bite and this place became my favorite pizza in the area! Huge slices at reasonable prices! Fanatic is all I can really say on taste! I will be coming back here for pizza. They don’t skimp on the toppings either.

Excellent all around. We were traveling and decided to try the local pizza. Kings is a great family style pizzeria.

We branched out from our usual favorites(garlic knots, fettuccine alfredo & pizza) and tried the garlic bread with cheese, chicken caesar salad and fettuccine alla napoli with crabmeat. Garlic bread w cheese: Delicious. Came with marinara for dunking. Chicken caesar salad: Huge and tasty. Fresh grilled chicken that doesn’t taste like it’s pre made and sitting in a fridge for hours. Fettuccine alla Napoli w Crabmeat: My husband’s new absolute favorite dish! Huge portions, as always, and loaded with shrimp, scallops, clams and crabmeat in a creamy pink sauce. Most places you get like 3 – 4 dinky scallops or a whopping 3 pieces of shrimp. Skimping on the pricy seafood ingredients. Not here! The dish is bursting with shellfish! If you’re a fan of this place for pizza, subs and the occasional«traditional» pasta dish… branch out! They’re menu is big and NEVER disappoints!

The pizza was amazing, we had the kings supreme. Pizza loaded with toppings like I have never seen, topped with a thick layer of cheese and a super crispy thin crust! OMG! Garlicky and delicious! We are pizza snobs and this place gets an amazing notable mention. We started with a delicious salad topped with warm chicken that was so good our son had most of it! A lot to say for a teenager. The service was outstanding! I did not get her name but she was the beautiful blonde who loves to work there! Then there was an Italian lady who came over and individually wrapped our left over pizza slices in foil so we could put in our cooler to take home! As we were in town for a tournament. While telling us about her travels to Italy and bringing pizza to her family from Italy every time she travels home! I wish they were closer to us, we would go every week! If we are ever in town we will definitely stop by to see the amazing staff and indulge in the delicious food! Prices are reasonable! The establishment is clean! If you are ever on 81 traveling though this part of WV we highly recommend!

This is the place to go for incredible portions of well done subs. We didn’t order anything else, but the hot Italian dishes and salads on nearby tables looked equally delicious and generously sized as well. Kayla was the most attentive waitress we’ve had in a long time. The next time we’re passing through on the interstate at mealtime, we’ll be stopping here again.

Very good Italian food. Whole family left happy. Big portions too. Loved the garlic dipping sauce for the bread. I got the chicken parm and felt the chicken was well done. Would return.

Owner is an a**hole. When you call in they rush you to order and they dont speak clear english so you can understand them they always have a poor attitude. And true story ive witnessed the man that runs the place making fun of a mentally handicapped child while his mother was staring at the menu trying to make me laugh. Smdh… other than that the pizza is fairly good nothing to write home about. However the subs are fantastic and the garlic bows are excellent! If you dont mind dealing with rude people in a not so great part of town then its worth it for the food. For me however id rather have brothers pizza just pop a nexium first.

We were looking for a good New York style pizza restaurant on the way home to Richmond VA from Pittsburgh PA. We found this place and I’m glad we did. The food is very good(lots of choices on the menu too), the portions very generous and the prices very reasonable. The staff is very friendly, professional and efficient. The place is also very clean and inviting. I’m pretty choosy about my pizza and I was not let down. If you need to have some great food but don’t have a lot of time to spare, you should stop in to this place.

If you have ever had NYC pizza and go here you will quickly reliaze you have been lied to. It’s under cooked doughy crap. The crew that runs it should know better. I think all these years dealing with dominos/pizza hut/papa johns crowd has made them lazy. Compared to those options it is better. But isnt that like being the best kid in summer school. If you are from somewhere that has good pizza you could go here just to get a baseline of what expect from our local pizza. Then be thankful you have less compromising proprietors to choose from. Other than that the people are nice service is good. You will read good reviews but I will leave with this: you know why Eskimos eat seal Blubber? Because it’s the only thing too eat.

King’s Pizza is completely overrated. I would rather eat at Domino’s or Papa Johns. The business only does well because WV has low standards in regards to dinning options. Why is pizza served on paper plates?

Nice evening meal without a lot of bother. The food is good as are the prices. Kathy our server was very attentive. The plantains were so unexpected and wonderful. It really is not King’s Pizza but King’s Rotisserie Chicken. They are the only ones in the chain that do not have pizza on the menu. We were very pleased with our meal. I had a simple baked ham & cheese sub. As simple as it sounds most places ruin it to the point it dry; it was delicious. I had a side of plantains with my order. He had chicken parm that comes with a VERY nice salad topped with black & green olives almost unheard of in a house salad and a nice baggett of hot bread.
