I’ve looked for glasses everywhere and couldn’t find a thing. But I found at least 2 that I loved here. The Doctor is very nice and I enjoy going here. I’d rather go here and give them by business then some chain store who only wants your money.

My daughters turquoise green glasses broke which were covered under warranty. So they ordered a new pair. Two weeks later l called to see if they were in and l was told they were on back order and the would be in soon. So they were nice enough to loan us a pair of glasses until the new ones came in(this pair was red). Any how after many calls to them l was still told they were on back order. I then asked them to let my daughter pick a pair of glasses similar the the turquoise green one she had and they refused. So my daughter was stuck wearing a pair of glasses she didn’t like. Big thumbs down for this place.

Ok, I bought my first pair of glasses from this place. The glasses are fine but the two ladies who are in the store are flat out rude. I work in this town so with no other place in town to go I figured I would come back for my second pair a year later. Same two ladies, I walk in and no one is in the store. They don’t look up or bother to greet you. I said Hi and said I needed another pair of glasses. After about 5 minutes of waiting for help I left. It was the worst service I have ever seen. It wasn’t like I was some hobo off the street, I was dressed in business clothes etc. I think customer service in this store is minus 10! A big ZERO! I recommend going anywhere but this shop!

Compared to the previous optometrists I have visited, this quiet little optometry shop is far above those I have previously endured. Prompt service from the office staff, a friendly doctor would actually listened to what exactly I needed without automatically trying to «sell» me the need for glasses(I am a commercial pilot by trade, so that is the last thing I am interested in hearing) before checking my eyes, and a quick and through completion of the documentation I needed done — far faster than initially promised. And I got to get my eyes dilated! An interesting experience in-and-of itself. Parking is always a concern in downtown Martinez, so keep some quarters on standby for the meters, as their office is a short walk from the county courthouse. And bring sunglasses in case the good doctor decides to dilated your eyes(or bring a chauffeur). If I require optometric services in the near future, Dr. Williams’ office will be my first call. They should be yours too!
