There’s more to this place than you’d think from the outside, and the food is very good. Service was friendly & efficient.
They’re not serving salsa with their chips, but red & green sauces (think hot sauce). I loved the red, and nearly killed a bottle of it myself. My wife favored the green, and was nearly as enthusiastic about it. They had real taco shells (actual fried tortillas, not Taco Bell style) which is a rarity in these parts. Nothing overly unique about the food, but it’s a destination for solid, delicious cooking.
Home made, freshly prepared to order, delicious, and authentic. Similar to New Mexico style mexican fare. Highly preferable over the Tex-​Mex basura that’s normal in these parts.
A HUGE and welcome thumbs (way) up! I’ll be back every time in in town. Keep up the good work.

If you are a fan of authentic Mexican food, Miguel’s is for you. The tacos are the best I’ve had to date. They understand the value of keeping it simple, authentic, and delicious. Everyone here is friendly and courteous. Luckily enough I live right down the street, and get to eat here at least once a week. Eat here, you will not regret it.

Yuck!!!
This was one of the worst places I have ever eaten! The retried beans were watery and the rice was flavorless. The tea was old and the coke flat. The only positive thing I can say is the kid’s meal chicken fingers and fries were good.
Do not eat here.

The most like the street foods I became so fond of living in Mexico City. Simple, hand-​craft foods from fresh ingredients make the experience; not ambience painted on the walls.
Tacos — the lingua was better than most roast beef, the carnitas tender and flavorful, the tamales fully-​stuffed and tender.
I LOVE this place an it helps that Miguel is a great guy.
Try the Salsa Verde! No, really, try it.

The only thing I would add to this GREAT meal was a marguerita. They don’t serve alcohol, but the food was fabulous! The sauces are amazing! My husband and I had enchiladas! Very good! You can choose from several sauces and different meats or cheese. From the outside I was skeptical, but I’m glad I trusted Unilocal again! Clean and yummy!

A customer told me about this place, from the outside I questioned this at first but learned a long time ago not to judge based on appearance.
The inside is very clean, staff is nice but wait for it…
The chili verde pork is straight up authentic and amazing, it cannot get better than this. And it didn’t stop there — they make their own fresh «corn» tortillas.
It amazes me to see places like this take such pride in flavor and history.

My only complaint with Miguel’s is that it’s located nearly 3 hours away from home.
Seriously, I could eat here every day. I love the migas for breakfast and have yet to meet a taco on the menu that wasn’t delicious — even the tongue taco.
Miguel makes everything from scratch, even his sauces. I’ve bought the sauces and brought them back home with me because they are that amazing.
It’s the best hole-​in-​the-​wall Mexican place I’ve ever eaten at. Again, I only wish that it was closer to home.
